Bhavana Balsawer and Karan Godwan to enter Rang Badalti Odhani

Talented actor Bhavana Balsawer and Karan Godwan to enter Star One's Rang Badalti Odhani..
Star One's Rang Badalti Odhani, produced by Yash Patnaik and Swapna Waghmare Joshi will have a new flavour from this week onwards with Shaan (Karan Tacker) and Khanak (Yashashri Masurkar) looking for a new abode for themselves.With the Khandelwal family vanishing from the picture, the focus will be on the struggle of Shaan and Khanak in the busy city of Mumbai. With the new track being introduced, there will be certain new entries also in the show.
The promos are already on air where Bhavana Balsawer will enter as Gangu Bhai, a strict Maharashtrian who rents out rooms to youngsters.
And the latest we hear is that Karan Godwan will also be entering the show with another new comer.
A little birdie tells us, "Gangu Bhai has a dark past because of which she does not like men and women mingling in her house. She strictly rents out houses to bachelors and spinsters. Shaan and Khanak come to this particular place and are desperate to get a home. They get to know of Gangu Bhai's pre-conditions and pretend to be single and strangers. They take up separate rooms and this only adds to the problems of the newly married couple. This will give rise to hilarious situations where Shaan and Khanak will try to get close without getting caught by Gangu Bhai".
"Gangu Bhai in addition to renting out rooms runs a catering service in which Khanak will start working as the story unfolds. Khanak will be able to bring to the fore the soft side of Gangu Bhai who is otherwise regarded as a terror", adds our source.
When contacted, Yash Patnaik, the producer of the show said, "Shaan and Khanak are ready to face their challenges on their own without the robust support of Sunil, Akshay, Madhvi and Khushboo. To join Shanak, we are introducing the talent powerhouse Bhavana Balsawer as Gangubai, whose house will provide shelter to our Shanak; but not without its own rules and regulations. A sarfira called Adi, played by Karan Godwan, who lives life in his terms and condition. A Crazy Pappi, played by newcomer Saraansh, who knows nothing but some straight face serious fun. And some more. Looking forward to the new challenges our RBO has in front."
When contacted, Bhavana Balsawer confirmed her presence in the show, "Yes, this will be a different kind of role for me as I will be seen in a typical Maharashtrian look. Also, I have a serious role to play unlike the comic roles I have played so far".
We also contacted Karan Godwan and he said, "After Jugni Chalio Jalandhar, I was looking for such a youth oriented show. Yash Patnaikji liked my performance, and I am all set to enter. I play a casanova, who lives life to the fullest."
Shantanu and Khanak have left the Khandelwal house to build the career of their own. But this will not be an easy task for the couple as new entrants like Karan Godwan and Bhavna Balsaver will make their journey tougher in Star Plus' Rang Badalti Odhani.
Our source says, "As seen in the promos Bhavana Balsaver will be seen playing the character of a Maharashtrain landlady Gangu Bai who rents out her house to Shaan and Khanak. She is very strict and disciplined and has a catering business which will also be joined by Khanak later. She is totally against renting out the house to married couples because of an ugly phase with a man in her life. Shantanu and Khanak will lie to her to get into the house. Both Shantanu and Khanak will live in separate boys and girls enclosures. This is where Shantanu meets Karan Godwan who plays the character of Randeep a Casanova. Randeep is keen on getting hooked with every girl that he sees. Khanak will introduce the character of Bhavana through a narration in the show."
We spoke to Yash Patnaik (Producer) who says, "Yes Bhavana ji and Karan are entering the show. It was lovely working with her as she is a wounderful actress. RBO has seen many cameos in the past so I specially want to mention that she is not doing a cameo."
We also spoke to Karan Godwan who says, "Yes it's true I am doing the show. I am playing the character of Randeep who is a fun loving guy. Yash ji saw my auditions and was very happy with it. I am very happy that I am getting to play this meaty role after Jugni Chali Jalandhar."
Bhavana Balsawer who will essay Gangu Bai said, "I am shooting for the show at this moment. The track of the show is going to go through major changes. My character is that of a strict Maharashtrian lady who rents out rooms and in addition to this also has a catering business. She is very strict and doesn't like boys and girls mingling and also doesn't rent out rooms to couples married or unmarried. So now when Khanak and Shantanu will come looking for a place they will lie to get a place."
