Oh well. Foreign shores do strange things to people. Strange was how I would describe Vinta Malik's behaviour on Sony's Yeh Meri Life Hai.

For those who came in late she is small-screen's favourite pa Alok Nath's sister. Vinta plays the grandma in Yeh Meri Life… Last week she locked her room and slumped back in her bed glassy eyed. The entire clamorous clan clanged on her door. She finally said, "Until you all stop squabbling I won't touch a drop of water."

Lady, if the family stops fighting what would the scriptwriters do to keep viewers interested?

Now with two sisters married into the same family the domestic discrepancies are getting much too wide to control.

Yeh Meri Life Hai has also introduced comedienne and vamp Upaasna Singh. She speaks in an indeterminate accent that, I suspect, is meant to make up for the absence of Tenaaz Currim from the plot.

thanks for the article Sonya. I had no clue that she was his sister. They dont really look alike, but then again, you don't have to look like your siblings. She's a good actor though. Well actually, average, not too good, not too bad but u cant judge somebody's acting skills by the kind of character they play especially when they are given a small role. so........... ya...................... thanks for the article

I am a little disappointed with Dadi's character. I thought she would be a fun-loving, slightly loud character... she was supposed to be Ronit's 'girlfriend' when Ba from Kyunki was supposed to do the role. The current Dadi's okay but she doesn't help lift the mood of the show.

I didn't know that she is Alok Nath's sister. I have seen her in many dramas. But I don't like her.🤢 Not a cool dadi😛

ya I agree, she doesn't look like her bro, nor act like one. Alok Nath is such a natural actor. and acts with his heart and soul, but I don't see anything like that with Dadi.
