The story of the serial starts with a strong and contemptible woman – Kokilaben Modi, who is looking for a nave and simple daughter-in-law. Her search ends up with Gopi. It would be interesting to watch how Gopi would find her new home and mother-in-law. On the other hand her cousin Rashi is a girl with liberal thought and very confident about her dreams.

The character of Gopi is played by Jiaa Maanek. She is a new face for Indian Television. The role of her cousin sister is played by another new face Rucha Hasabnis. There are two male leads, one is Vishal Singh who acted in "Kasamh Se" and other male lead is Mohammad Nazim who acted in Star Plus' Serial "Shaurya aur Suhani".
