Written Update May 31, 2011

Raman is beating a villager mercilessly. Dushyant arrives there and asks what happened. Raman tells the villager to apologize to Dushyant, the guy apologizes. Dushyant asks him to stop beating the guy and asks what happens. Raman takes Dushyant to the side and tells him not to worry, he knows how to keep the small people quiet. Dushyant probes but Raman hesitates to tell him what the villager said to provoke Raman and says that Dushyant could never do such a thing. Dushyant insists, Raman tells him to leave it, just because they stood against each other in the election the villagers think that the family is broken, they don't know that both brothers cannot hear anything against each other, especially not such a thing. Raman yells at the villager to leave. Dushyant insists but Raman tells him to focus on his work and Raman will take care of the rest. Raman again tells Dushyant that he is his brother, and despite their differences he will not hear anything against Dushyant.

Jamna sees a girl for Dushyant and tells her mother that the girl will have to bear the responsibility of a big (well known) family. Jamna takes the girl's photo and says she will send word with the matchmaker. The girl and her mother try to ask something, Jamna tells them not to worry about dowry, she (Jamna) has no expectations from them and gestures to the house indicating that they are not as well off. The mother tells her that everyone knows and respects Jamna's family, but she is a mother and has only one daughter, people talk and she asked the matchmaker but matchmakers never tell the truth so she is asking Jamna, people talk about Vasant... the rest of her talk is in mute and Jamna gets angry hearing this. Jamna yells for her to stop and asks her how dare she talk about her son in this manner in front of her, she should at least think before saying such things that which family she is talking about. Jamna throws the girl's photo on the mother and leaves.

Talli goes to Kesar's room searching for him to teach her, but he is not there. She sees a letter/note in his book and opens it, the letter has pen marks and nothing else. She starts snooping around and finds letters in his closet. (She will never learn - how many times will she snoop? She opens and rummages through Kesar's closet all the time). She goes to take them when Kesar arrives and takes her arm demanding to know what she is doing there. She tells him that she was looking for a dictionary. He asks why she was looking for it in his closet, and why does she need a dictionary, does she not have her own. She says that the meaning of a specific word is not in her dictionary, since his is from the city she thought it may have the meaning. He asks her what the word is. She responds "dabloo", he is surprised, she reminds him that he had called her "dabloo", Kesar starts laughing and sits on his bed. She asks him the meaning, he tells her that she is a dabloo, she says he is too, he says he cannot be dabloo, she is a big dabloo, and laughing tells her that she is such a kid, without knowing the meaning she is arguing. She says that it must be a bad word since he never says anything good about her anyway, and goes to leave. He stops her asking why she is upset, she insists that he should tell her the meaning, he says that he will tell her but he needs time and right now he is not in the mood. She agrees, but then asks him who sent the letters that he was reading. He gets angry and asks her to mind her own business, and asks her to leave. She tells him that she doesn't know anything about the letters and came to study, and starts reading from her book. He angrily tells her to leave, and she leaves.

Kesar goes to the factory. One woman gossips that she refuses to believe such a thing, it seems to be the work of someone with a dirty mind. The other woman says that the person must have said this because he/she must have seen or heard something, in all these years nobody said anything about the two of them, but it is worth wondering why Gulaal gave Dushyant's name as Head, there must be something that is why Gulaal went against Jamna, Raman, and especially Kesar, and Dushyant also agreed to go against his brother on Gulaal's insistence. Another woman says that she is embarrassed to say such things, if this turns out to be true how much it will hurt Mota Bha. Kesar overhears all this and is angry. The women continue that one man's widow, another man's wife, with a third man? They hope that this is not true. Kesar starts to react in anger when Raman touches his shoulder from behind and asks him who all will he take his anger out on, the entire village is saying the same thing, Raman is angry too because everyone is talking about his family but he is controlling his anger, he feels like murdering the man who spread such rumors, but he hesitates because he thinks deep down that there must be a reason for these talks, without fire there is no smoke. He has returned after 10 years and doesn't know what has changed, what changes have happened in relationships. He continues talking while Kesar leaves on his bike. Raman looks on triumphant. Kesar flashbacks to the gossip while riding his bike.

Paan Baa asks Jamna what she wants to say in front of everyone. Jamna talks in a roundabout manner - the talk is the same that everyone knows but is doing nothing, they need to decide one day and today is that day to make a decision. Her husband asks what decision, she says about Gulaal and Kesar. Paan Baa asks what decision, Jamna goes on complaining. Mota Bha asks her to speak clearly. Jamna says fine, she was quiet till now but no more, it is time to decide that Gulaal and Kesar should start their married life. Everyone looks shocked, Gulaal comes in and hears this. Jamna continues that Kesar and Gulaal are husband wife, and they need to start their married life now. Gulaal looks shocked and angry, everyone sees her hearing this.

Precap: Kesar angrily asks Paan Baa what the relationship is between Gulaal and Dushyant. Paan Baa tells him that she knew the talk would reach his ears, but she did not expect him to come and ask her this question. Kesar has tears in his eyes. Paan Baa continues that whatever Kesar has heard is wrong, but it is even more wrong that Kesar is asking her this question, because it indicates that Kesar believes these rumors.

Didnt quite see this show regularly earlier but is Kesar in love with Gulaal or just upset and confused that she isnt giving him the attention she used to - thoughts anyone?
