The roads to get tougher for Shantanu and Khanak as Shantanu decides to leave home in the Maha episode of the Star One show Rang Badalti Odhani.

Our source informs, "Khanak will be all excited since she is planning a surprise for Shantanu. She will plan to re-marry him so that she can enjoy those precious moments that she missed out on when she married him earlier. But her happiness will be short lived as there will be a major tiff between Shantanu and his father. It will be self- realisation time for Shantanu as he makes up his mind to finally do something in life. Shantanu and Khanak will meet his old college friends at a re-union party wherein Shantanu realises that all his friends except him have gone ahead and have made their mark in life. Meanwhile, Khushboo will also make things difficult for Shantanu as she will start comparing Shantanu with Akshay. She will be drilling many things into Akshay's mind by saying that it is high time now that Shantanu should earn his livelihood and Akshay should stop being over protective about him. His father will also taunt Shantanu for not being independent and not contributing anything to his family business. He will also try and influence people in the music industry so that Shantanu doesn't get work. His father's sole aim is to make him join the family business. They will get into an argument and Shantanu decides to leave the house along with his wife."
