I really enjoy this forum
- when i miss the serial, I catch the updates and links posted
- I also enjoy all the analyses you guys give (lennie and meysimi and all others)
- the serial is a good one and its followers seem equally if not more intelligent
- what i absolutely like about this forum is that most of the discussions are lighthearted and very civil (yes there is the occassional nasty upstart but the regulars tame them).

The only thing that I wanted to add to observations (in all the threads) is that Kesar's character has elements of all his older brothers. There is the gentle side like Vasanth, the cruel side like Raman, the obsessive, self destructive side like Dushyanth - this masala combination has its own flavor "Kesar". As he evolves, he has to realize the elements about each of these brothers that Gulaal truly likes and try and emulate them if he has to win her over...especially Dush and Vasanth (Raman lacks any redeemable qulaities). In the meantime the fun, more flexible and open minded Gulaal has to make a comeback...

cheers all

@Srushti, enjoy your posts that are so much lively.
@Trifolia, Thank you. I love reading the information you shared regarding the anthropological and cultural evolution in ancient India. Your username indicates your interest too. Loved reading it as I had almost lost touch with the subject which was part of my thesis long long ago.
Also agree that the discussions are light hearted and civil. Thankfully YES.
That was a good observation about blend of all brothers in Kesar though I feel Kesar lacks the "killer" element or may be had he been left undisturbed, the guy at the temple must be in photo frame by now.
