pride n prejudice no doubt was the best...the myriad range of characters in the book...n each evolved so wonderfully...n each time i read the book i cant help feeling the sense of anticipation as to whats gonna happen to lizzy n darcy...even though i know exactly how the plot is gonna play through...😊...after PNP its persuaion n then northanger abbey n emma...

@Janaki...theres just 6 novels...unless u wanna count the Juvenalia and other unfinished works...

My personal favorite is also Pride and Prejudice. From the moment I picked it up I couldn't stop reading. Mr. Darcy was the one that had me hooked. But I too think Sense and Sensibility is harder to get into the groove with. I've started it a few times but just can't seem to get past a few pages, hopefully next time I can.

Pride and Prejudice is the best . I also liked Persuasion ,it's like middle age cinderella story. Even i find Sense and Sensibility slow or harder to get in its skin. Emma is also awesome. I didn't read Northanger abbey and Mansfield park
