Rajkumar Santoshi is a happy man. His romantic comedy Ladies & Gentleman, with the power couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has been picked up by a film corporation for a reported 28 crore.
Says a trade source, "Ash and Abhi still hold a curiosity with the audience. Guru was a hit, while Raavan a flop. However, the audience like seeing them together. So Ladies & Gentleman, that will go on the floors in June, is already sold." Santoshi confirms that he will start shooting in June.
Of course, he refuses to discuss the price that his film has been sold at! Why is that not surprising? Bollywood always shies away when you get to the brasstacks!
