Difficulty in maintaining Consistency..

I really wanted to start a topic on "consistency". So here it is,

I will start by mentioning a quote : "Variety's the very spice of life". I think many of us will agree that variety is very important in our life. We need to bring change in our life. We cannot live with the same old routine. We need something different every day. The same thing applies to SGP. Most of us got hooked on to SGP because of the "variety" factor in it. It is different from every other show on TV. It is different and that's what makes it special for all of us. That could also be the reason we are hooked up with this show even now, when most of us are unhappy with the things that are showed these days.

Now I am wondering : Is it really that difficult to maintain consistency?

Here is an instance:

I am a student who truly loves studying. I love going to school, learning something new and working on it. (I am saying this from my heart). However, a week ago (around that time) I started taking school a bit casually. I began reducing the time I spent on school work. (Around the time I said I am going on a break, which I still haven't managed too. ) On Friday last week, I came to know that I did really bad in a test in Math. (* It is a really BAD score for me ). I was shocked and kind of heart broken. I have now tightened up my screws and am now studying dedicatedly once again.

I guess SGP creatives are experiencing a similar thing. They are taking SGP a bit casually (* I am not blaming them. It is a natural human thing*). They are relaxing. Don't you think it is a bit too stressful for them to work for so long and come up with episodes which are longer than what they are used too. I guess it definitely takes a lot of effort. I think it is just a phase. They need something like a shock to make a comeback.

We also have had instances where people were out of character. They said or did things that were seriously out of character. We also had instances where they made some major bloopers.

There are only two things we can do:

(i) Complain - Complain till we are heard. But we end up feeling angry and disgusted.

(ii) Not spoil our mood - Not spoil our mood thinking about the crappy episodes.

My QUESTION TO ALL - Is it difficult to maintain consistency? What could be some of the reasons why the creatives are doing what they are? Why do you think things are not similar to what they were? What were your views on SGP then and now?

(Please Note - I am not trying to justify what the creatives are doing. I am not telling you not to comment against the creatives. I just don't think the episodes are worth spending our time thinking about them. )

anyday maintaining consistency is difficult..be it in our life or now in SGP...
we set a standard for ourselves and maintaining that standard becomes difficult..thats what SGP is suffering from...

for eg...we may have scored 95 marks...and in order to score 100 and prove more...we may try to do something different...something that the 100 marks scoring person does...bt it may not work for us...
SGP too has the same prb...they are trying to do something that other shows do..being illogical...bt for SGP its not working...
we will realise that the plan of copying has not worked and we come back to our mode...
we have to see if SGP realises that and makes the change...and maintain their own standard that they have set...

abt complaining...i also avoid myself as much as i can from doing that...becos being an online user its never gonna work...and for complaining we have to think abt the episode too which is not worth it...

so iam going to stick to no comments until something good happens...if not...forget it and move on...

And Yes Yaar U r Rite...SGP has been really Inconsistent...And the Reasons Cud Be

1.SP's Interference

2.CVs Lacking Better Tracks

3.Maybe SGP has run out of Stream meaning Like every Other Serial which r Good In beginning Later run out of tracks

4.Maybe Change of CVs

If U see SGP Bad Phase began after Confession of Suhana...Ragzz at that time was Busy wid JDJ...And after That SGP has never come into its Groove...And Now I just Hope They end this Serial...If They havent left wid any other Tracks to show...I want to see SGP on higher Trps when it ends Not Out of 50 Shows😳

yes ..sometimes it is difficult to maintain consistency..

SGP is indeed an awesome show.the crew cast and the production team are just superb.i think their hectic shedule and over workload may be the reason for decreasing the quality of the show..for long episodes CV's are forced to introduce unecessory contents into the show..they need time.i dont like to spoil my mood by thinking about bad episodes

May be due to long hectic schedules the quality of the show is decreasing but then what CV's were doing from past one year??? Till Suhana's illness, the whole track has been taken from OBS and now when they have to shift from the OBS's way, the CV's are not prepared with any strong content especially for the lead pair Ishaan-Suhana...itni kaamchori is not good... I guess in the near future only track to look forward is the Raunak-Panna track coz other characters are left with no useful content...

Infact Inconsistency is the only thing in which men are consistent.

We do have ups n down in our real life same thing goes with the show also we can't expect to be at no.1 all the time but one thing that is annoying us the most is that CV's are repeating their mistakes again n again they are not learning from it right from BT track then letter thing n now amnesia they have not handled a single one carefully which we can call perfect...itz all ridiculous.I wish they do take our comments in a positive way n work on it instead of getting hurt.Afterall itz all for the betterment of the show.

Agree its always difficult to maintain consistency but those who are good remain good even after that inconsistency they regain what they loose by rectifying there mistakes as you learn more from ur mistakes but the CV's have stopped learning from the dip in theTrp's or the viewership they consider themselves and the crap they are showing being perfect and the consequences are to be faced by them only they are ruining there own show and this way there growth has

My Ques. is Is SGP a comedy show ?secondly SP must change the timeslot they must show us Quality not Quantity based substance I disagree on a point that they have no more to depict They have a lot more to depict just they had stopped using there brains SGP has a potential that it can do WONDERS if they stop showing USELESS comedy scenes of Elesh specifically I m not saying them to raise Hue and cry among family members over things as shown in other serials but atleast show some really emotional and touching scenes as they had previously shown like those of Suhaana and BM, Suhaana and Rano RB,Suhaana and MA as they had shown earlier now the recent track will focus on Suhaana so plzzz don't ruin it by stupid comedy I don't know how the actors like Ragini agreed for that stupid tug of war scene. Can't Ragini Supriyaji or Jay or anyone else tell the CV's that the scenes they are showing would really seem stupid ?

There actually is no way we can complain.Previously if we would complain,we would still get an answer like thanks for your concern,we will look forward to it etc,when SGP didnt have that much of TRPS.I am quoting this reply I had got on Mr.Zama Habib's blog lonnng back when SGP had just started and it was not even in the top 50.

And we very well know how he replied to Sheema di and then to Renu di later when the TRPs were sky rocketing for the show isnt it?Manju..now toh no use of complaining too...the people behind the show is now deleting the messages too without replyingSO now we cant even complain...

Regarding this...I dont think we have another option than spoiling the moods.The basic thing that goes on this forum is obviously discussion regarding the day to day episode..ab episodes hi aise hoga..toh hum kaise happy mood mein discuss karein?

Now regarding the inconsistency part...yes I do agree..the CVs really cant give us 45 minutes of productive scenes...some scenes are always fillers to extend the show..but the biggest mess they need to clear now is..they are also compromising on the fillers!Earlier..whenever we would watch the episode with fillers..even those fillers..like Dada-Dadi fighting,Inder-Elesh leg pulling etc were ENGAGING and done AESTHETICALLY!These two words are completely HISTORY for the show...they try to enforce forcefull comedy...turning the show..from a light hearted serial..to a slapstick comedy..where are the values?where are the light hearted scenes for which we used to see the show earleir?...The CVs definetely had brains to even turn a filler episode into a magiucal one...

In my honest opinion..the best episode till date for me..is the acchi bahu episode.It was a filler episode ..Like they showed Suhana watching TV for half an hour..so what actually made the episode so apeealing?..it is the SCRIPT,the SENSIBLE COMEDY,the DIALOGUES and the NORMAL behaviour of the Kashyaps which made the episode so good!This is totally missing in the show now..They are han dling everything as a joke...as if life is so very easy...

Its not only about consistency, many parts are completely illogical, thats what most of us are trying to point out here. We all had huge discussions about the pity party, forced comedy and Ilesh's fiasco in the hospital when they went to get Suhana's reports during the BT track and pointed out that humor does not work all the time. What they showed yesterday was heights of stupidity 🤢 The people on the road seemed more concerned about Ishaan than Inder & Co. I dont think ANYBODY would take an accident so lightly, that too when a stranger calls up and informs them that Ishaan is taken to hospital. Here Inder and Ilesh were joking about Ishaan's scooter and looking for missing socks 😕 Dadaji was right when he said 'Saare namune isi ghar mein hain' 😡

Oh wait! Was it SGP that I saw last night????
