Yeah, Kanchi Indian Idol is surely good, I mean its a reality show without the harshness of the real Armerican Idol.

Note:No offence meant to Kusum fans.It's just that Ekta weirdness has more takers over a practical serial like Jassi just beats me😡

Hi,

If you see every indian fan on this site who is a fan of JJKN, Almost hates Kkusum or Ekta's serials the way they are going!! Others those who still watch it are not a regular follower and they follow it just for the sake of it, to just know whats happening to thier kkusum who was once thier FAV, Let me again tell you people see ekta's serial because she has taken the prime time slots on the two most famous channels, the 9 pm slot is taken by her, she has a big advantage from star ever since Kaun Banega crorepati, she owns that slot on two of the hit channels, Zee the next best known channel is unfortunate for not being able to get any decent shown on those times. Star One I suppose will give Star Plus a Stiff competition in coming weeks, because I liked almost all its shows.

In short the problem is that people are hooked on the channel and not the show. They have put thier faith in a channel and will watch what ever comes on that channel, Once people learn to change channel they will know that better shows are available.

But Jammy,Jassi and Kusum are on same channel and there are days public is watching more of Kusum than Jassi!!!!!!.Which means they are actually switching channels during Jassi!!! Kkusum and Astitva timings co inside and I can't beleive they choose kusum over Astitva.I just can't see any reflection of an intelligent audience taste here!!!!!

The thing is that TRPs never give a complete picture. They are calculated based on the number of people who watch a channel during a particular time-slot. But, that does not mean that the serial is not popular or that people dont watch it.

What about the people who tape episodes of JJKN and watch them later with their families and friends who have not seen them before?

What about people who live abroad and rent tapes from Video Stores or the ones who get signals illegally from Satellite Dish Networks? Do these illegally transmitted signals get included in the ratings if people are not official subscribers of Sony?

Sony and T&D Singh are more concerned with total collections. TRPs are important, but in the end its the bottom line (net profit) that matters.
