Radhika closed her eyes, imagining that evening, when Dev came with the news that he needs to go to Minnesota for a meeting on that Thursday. That happened during the initial stage of his promotion time.

Dev: Radhika, I want to make it special, let's celebrate your birthday in this new place, ok. we will come back on Sunday only . Let's see around too. Anyway company will book the hotel and flight ticket for me, so let's have some free time there, ok.

Dev: only one problem, it is winter time there, so it may be cold.

That Wednesday afternoon they left to Minnesota.They reached towards late evening and it was already dark out, and Dev just looked at the time and it is only 6PM, and he sighed seeing the darkness outside and thought looks like it is already 10PM. Radhika stood in shock as the sliding door moved way to out, the gush of cold air, with forceful wind, just froze her body in seconds. She could suddenly feel each cell on her legs and arms with the cold wind.

Dev covering his face : Radhika, you wait inside, let me call the taxi, ok.

Radhika moving herself back , just nodded her head. She stood there hugging herself. She looked at the people walking around wearing big jacket, she looked at herself,, who is wearing a jeans and a ladies shoe, and a thick sweater. He told it will be cold, but this!!!.

Soon the taxi came, and Radhika try to run into the open door, but unfortunately, her show slipped , she almost fell onto the floor, but Dev tried to grab her on time. She looked at him with a fearful face.

Dev: Radhika you get in, I can get the bags. And he helped her into the car, and then brought the bag in.

Radhika sat there hugging herself, looking outside, at the gloomy weather, Dev sat next to her, for warmth , she just moved closer to him and as much as possible and closed her eyes,her lips were shivering and her feet felt froze.

Dev tried to hold her close, who himself was wearing a sweat shirt and a thin leather jacket. Suddenly he took his leather jacket out and covered her, and Radhika soon slipped into it, and went back into his arms.

Driver: are you new here?

Driver: sir, you better purchase some good jackets, we are expecting winter storms tomorrow, so

They reached the Marriot hotel near the airport, and Radhika first went in and the driver showed his courtesy by bringing their bags in.

Radhika felt much better once they got into the lobbey and then to their room, but she still felt very cold.

Next day morning Radhika opened her eyes to the brightest light ever possible in her life. With curiosity she looked thru the window, and she saw the ground covered under the white velvet comfort, and it was shining brightly as the light of the sun was falling on it, and then that each beam has spreded more brightness out. ..She looked at the drooping tree branches, which was standing naked, till yesterday was completely covered in snow, how easily even the small twigs were able to hold onto this new dress, and it is not at all bothered about losing its green color...She felt his arms wrapping around her..

Radhika: is this true!!!

Dev: Um, and you get ready we are going out

Radhika: is it better out? It will be still cold, right? But I want to see it close, I want to feel it in my hands.

Next day they went to Mall Of America.

Dev: one time this was considered as the 8^th wonder.

Radhika: I am glad, it is not cold inside , can't believe this whole area is covered and heated .

Dev: ha

Dev: Radhika, let's have ice cream

Radhika: in this cold weather.

Dev with a smile: cold is outside, right?

Radhika smiled
