Bollywood nights: Shobha De

Ok guys after all that sonam thrashing shobha on KWK.. i learnt who shobha de was and recenlty I was library and passed by one of her books .. bollywood nights.. and decided to read it..

Oh boy.. what a crude book it was and i swear that journey she described in it did not seem like it was of some bollywood starlet.. and in the end there was her interview in which she stated that the protagonist was mainly inspired by the collective bollywood heroines...

Has anyone else read it? or heard about it??

P.S.. sonam was right when she said that "who the hell is she? she writes bad books"😆

i agree...i havent read the book uve mentioned but ive read a few of her other books like starry nights and socalite evenings...and shes quite mediocre at best...

Shes quite overrated as a writer...i dunt really enjoy reading her books or her columns...

I've never read any of her books but I would think they'd be entertaining in a crude sense

this is the first book i've read of hers but it was just not a life of an actress that she portrayed but rather a life of a pr****tute .. it was corny to a point but after it got so repetitive

and like i totally believed it was an overdo of whole bollywood image... it grossed me out,..the language was vulgar and cheap and it was so vague 🤢 it maintained the interest but it was a very loose portrayal of bollywood

LOL it was worse than the secrets and gossips revealed in that bollywood inside gossip post..
