The tug of war between DID Season 1 star Jay Kumar Nair and Season 2 star Kunwar Amarjeet took a new turn when the former criticized Kuwar and Vandana's Samba performance saying, "The movements were not crisp and Amar was dancing barefoot... Samba cannot be done barefoot...How can you do justice to Samba wearing just socks? Shoes are an integral part of ballroom dancing and without them the act is incomplete."

The tables turned when DID Season 1 stars Siddesh and Bhavna came on stage to do a ballroom act. No sooner did Siddesh step on stage when Remo Sir looked at Jay and said, "What are your remarks on this?" Remo was referring to the fact that even Siddesh was not wearing shoes.

Jay Kumar Nair fumbled for words after his lamba chauda lecture on the etiquettes of ballroom dancing fell flat on his face when his own team member was found not adhering to the rules of the game. Siddesh in his defense said, "I have sprained my foot and can't wear shoes. I wanted to do justice to the choreography shoes or no shoes. Had I worn shoes my movements would have been restricted by the searing pain."
