Hi Reemz.😊
interesting...and i have not been able since star player is down and going online not the same copy...plus my guru didi is in town this week, so trying to meditate...(i know good luck with that 😛)
interesting comment that she made that we marry for "anand" and get divorced for "happiness/anand" so do we change or our perspective of "anand": another name for brahma/God.
was thinking of our anand with these serials and the anand between these fictional characters...how real or virtual is it to evoke these thoughts of "anand"...from the live public.
the funny thing is that i have no issue with gulaal falling for kesar or them discovering their love, but right now...until gulaal stops being the martyr and living in the love history of her and vasant...until that happens, and she mentally accepts that she did marry kesar , be it out of duty, whatever...their being one is only in name...
plus kesar is too immature...they say that men mature slower than women even if same age and she is 10 years older than him...classic scenario of babysitting the pampered hubby still tied to moms apronstrings...! which she did in past and he is changing the dynamics now, and she is at a loss how to handle it...uber confused.
Honestly Reemz/Lennie...i can see where you are coming from, but honestly something is just not clicking for me...have to admit, their calibre of acting is way higher and 10 times better than some of the other "official joris" that are acknowledged per se...
however the sad reality of life, is that even with family support and all well, we dont always end up marrying our soulmates...!
c'est la vie... and life has a funny way of bringing its own twists...and not all love story ends up in "happily ever after" until sunset...!
so in the meantime, let us take pleasure from all the varied amazing characters, (except for revas new hubby and talli so so) and their amazing acting and see what other mazes the CVs take us through...
i just hope and pray they do not cancel this serial regardless of story outcome...
I know we all avid viewers would agree to that, regardless of what else we may agree to disagree on, right ?
cheers...

@ Hi Prerncda, I know this post is adddressed exculsively to Reemz and Lennie, but it seemes very interesting so hope you dont mind if I give you my view point. I agree with you that it is time for Gulaal to stop being a martyr and start living for herself. Second comes the age issue 10 years that you mentioned. I beleive the age difference of Kesar and Gulaal to be 7-8 years. Let me tell you why I reason .. as of today we know Dushyant is 32 years old(LOL jamuna Kaki announced) I am assuming there was a 10 year leap that means Dushyant was 22 10 years back. Kesar was 12 then(Motaba mentioned it 2-3 times). That means it is impossible for Gulaal to have been 22, because we all know Dushyant was older, so Gulaal would have been 18-19. Also I had mentioned in a post somewhere before that girls in that community get married early by 18 years if not it is a stigma,(we all know how everyone panicked when Rewa's engagemet broke up and she was 19). So that being the scenario I doubt if Gulaal's parents would have made her sit at home till she was 22. (Anyway 8 rs or 10 yrs doesnt make a difference for me). What happened is when Gulaal married Vasant by RISHTA she became older to Rewa and Kesar. Now as a Bhabhi (because of the relationship she became older) hence took up the responsibility of the younger ones as every D-I-L would do.

Now lets come to the immaturity part of Kesar, agreed with you men generally mature later, though there are exceptions to every case. As far as Kesar goes he is a very normal human being in comparison to Gulaal. For the past 10 years he has been tortured with these dreams and flashbacks that he keeps having regarding his brother's death. So anger, frustration has builtt up (to understand Kesar's state of mind I think we need to listen to the dialogue he says during Rohan's ceremony when Dushyant gives an expensive gold chain)... it went something on the lines of Deewaaron pe sar patak, patak ke patthar ban jaate hain. Can u imagine the state of Kesar alone in a boarding school along with the truth of knowing about Vasant's murder and that Gulaal knew about it. What hell he has gone through.

Kesar is reacting the way any normal 22 yr old boy would do...I dont think he is immature, in fact his character has been very consistent all along. There has always been a a streak of stubbornesss in him, but over and above everything it is his love for Gulaal that developed as an adolescent over the years and what he thinks is her betrayal. Think about it from Kesar's POV.. here is a 12 year old who has been told over and over again by the whole society that Gulaal is his wife and has been teased about it..yet always has stood up to defend her. What would go through such a boy..of course he is going to have issues to deal with. Kesar behaves with Gulaal and Dushyant the way he does because he is hurting to the very core of his being. As far as I have understood Kesar...his reactions towards Dushyant and Gulaal are justified for any normal person. For Kesar Gulaal has been his world after Vasant...and that has been shattered...,from the time he has come back he is dying inside and on the outside he sees Gulaal and Dushyant behaving normally..yet he cannot bring himself to ask Gulaal the truth because he WANTS to believe that Gulaal has not protected Vasant's killer. He still wants to believe that...that is how much he loves Gulaal so how can he ask her outright. This is also in some way a certain kind of respect he has for Gulaal. Do u think this is immature..if he were immature can you imagine what he would have done... All that Kesar can do is try means and ways of getting to the truth. He cant go to his parents, nor Dushyant nor Gulaal, all he can do is suffer and keep hurting Gulaal and himself in that process.

Now I am glad he is going to the police station as per the precap to open the case..this move comes from maturity not immaturity. If he was immature he would have created a ruckus at home telling his Motaba and Panba...what would Gulaal do then? he is quiet because he is mature and knows what havoc the truth can create. Both Gulaal and Dushyant are tight lipped. Even as far as decisions regarding business have been done Kesar has always been logical and has shown maturity beyond his age...otherwise Motaba would not be taking his advice.

Just keep one thing in mind while thinking of Kesar, though he is meant for Gulaal and he loves Gulaal...he is completely different from her in his nature.

Just want to conclude for me I feel Gulaal is first a women, then Revjibhai's daughter and then for a very brief period Vasant's wife. Agreed she loved Vasant dearly, but that chapter of her life is over..she has curbed all her desires and wishes to fulfill his dream. Now I would like to see a Gulaal awakened to her needs both physical and emotional.(saw Talli taking a first step in doing that today..it was nice to see Gulaal think abt herself for a change). And I think as someone said earlier on this forum before maybe Reemz or Lennie, what is wrong if Kesar is that person. after all he is her husband by Deeyarvathu and for Gulaal he is the only other man in her life after Vasant she is closest to.

PS : If Kesar were immature by now either Dushyant would be dead or the truth would be out in front of everybody and the whole family shattered.

Sorry for the lengthy post. Just my POV ...Cheers

Even if Kes-Gul were the same age, i kinda would expect Kesar to act like how he is now, the tortured soul and all that, the only thing is Kesar sometimes is careless which we have seen, and it has been said to him in the episode by various ppl, careless on how he comes across and how he behaves, and what he did by not taking Gulaal - he is purposely being how he is isnt he, i wouldnt call it immature as such - Kesar is intact in how he is - he hasnt totally gone ignorant or so on, he isnt causing havoc and acting out like a brat like neil-fan mentions, but coz what he knows he is somewhat being so tortured and snaps i guess, the way he is he is battling within himself and hurting himself more with his anger and the pain he has

It seems easy to just bring his age and the age-gap in every time doesnt it if we look at it from one side
For me i would like Kesar to come to a point where he realises what Gulaal and why she did it, and understand it from her pov atleast and also understand how she has been living and how her life is like as well... because to understand Gulaal he does need to see that part as well, Gulaal will instantly know and understand how he has lived the moment she gets to know he knew all along and so on and why he stayed away and why the distance between them, there has to be much development on Kesar understanding Gulaal and her pov...
I can see a romantic track/love story if i say for Kes-Gul, i dont see how it cannot be possible (but needs to happen cautiously and slowly not instantly coz to me alot of factors need be worked on and worked out i guess between all characters and how Kes-Gul are with each other and why, and thats why when you watch an episode and/or each scene so much comes into play, its about how the whole story will connect with various characters as well i guess) but the writers will have to built it so slowly, subtleness and so simple in the scenes, esp as i said the scenes they have now like you saw the refection scene, the terrace scenes, those scenes are not what i would call romantic (esp if you are looking for a typical serial romance scene) but scenes which says alot, cant be defined and this is what Kes-Gul are... and Kes-Gul scenes will have to be built like that to deepen that bond and put in the pull they have towards each other i guess, and thats the love between them 'Soul Love' i guess is what i would expect it to be 😊
The age gap i am confused with right now, i agree with Neil-fan Gulaal's age is abit of a mystery right now - to me anyway lol, i assumed she was 22 coz of the synopsis, but like it says girls are suppose to be 18/19 and obviously marriage age i guess, so i expected Gulaal to be that age anyhow and esp as i heard the title song as well, and Kesar was 12 as far as i remember, so i expect the age gap to be 6/7 yrs between them
What age did JK say Dushyant was - i heard she mentioned it last week as it was his b-day???

Hi Neil Fan...
Sorry, it seems like reemz had made a point to me in a previous post and me and lennie i believe were on opposite ends of the spectrum when forum started, but i/we must be mellowing with age...
not 10 year jumps, ...hkidding😊
The pov and my post was meant to all, but more for them to notice that i have nothing against age gap or their "milan" but just how they come together gradually as gulaal accepts that her life with vasant , that chapter is over...
it was not meant to be just for them...but all readers and i truly appreciate your feedback...
no offence intended to men...(more like a personal joke coming to surface but kesar is conflicted and acting very immature with his relations and not caring about others feelings...) i meant it more that pov that he was childish and spoilt as the baby of the family and not much has changed since he came back...
opening the case...
.wonder how gulaal will react when she finds out !
the negative trait is that she thinks she knows that whatever she is doing is for everyones best, without consulting anyone, be it devarvatu or forgiving dushant...or promising talli to kesar...just taking over everyones lives,,,, even though selfless and no personal gain, but still controlling others...
that part is irksome, covering up for kesar each time...just gets a little overbearing, that is all...just like talli chirpiness and throwing herself on kesar was and is overbearing

Exactly Prernacda we completely agree on Gulaal and her flaws no doubt on that, yes Kesar has also remained consistent with his character, in tune with his childhood...but still I would not call him immature because of the reasons I have already mentioned (dont want to go over them again). Well I guess time will tell you about his maturity hopefully.

@Lennie Jamna Kaki said Dushyant was 32. As for Kesar understnding Gulaal POV..I hope not, if he does there would be no difference btw his thinking and hers. I dont want two marty'rs here 😆LOL. I just hope for Gulaal's sake he understands and can forgive her, but its not going to be so easy for Kesar, but hopefully they will come to an understanding on this at some point in their relationship. Jamna Kaki is in for a shock of her life.

BTW to both of you just my feeling that this friction will not end soon. As per precap Kesar will go to reopen the case and will learn that Gulaal had closed the case..so be ready for some more fireworks ...I hope it doesnt happen like this but can never say.😉

If D is 32 (even though i assumed he would be about after 35 or something there is no way Gulaal could of been 22). 10 yrs ago, so right i am assuming her age is 28

There has to be a point where Kesar understands Gulaal and see why she did, and who for - the family and everything
I dont see Gulaal as a martyr, she did what she did for the family and it took hellva alot for her to do that and come to this point
