Manini De Mishra Now that Anna Hazare's movement is successful do you see a ray of hope about corruption ending? The process has just started and I would define it as ? The beginning of the end of corruption. It will take time for corruption to end because it cannot happen overnight but at least the process has begun. This is a people's revolution. How do you think the Lok Pal Bill will help to curb corruption? The Lok Pal Bill will curb corruption in the government but I also believe that the strength of the common man is phenomenal. Whenever we have issues with our driving license or passport, we immediately think of bribing the concerned officials. This attitude needs to be changed. My message to everyone is ? You be the change. Do you think some people blindly supported the cause? I don't know about this, so I can't really say but I believe that you have to be passionate about a cause that you support. However, even if people supported the cause blindly at least the movement got extra support, so I will get them the benefit of doub |
Yashashri Masurkar Now that Anna Hazare's movement is successful do you see a ray of hope about corruption ending? We know that things are wrong but we don't raise our voice. We need a push and Annaji did it this time, so hope of corruption ending is as bright as sun now. How do you think the Lok Pal Bill will help to curb corruption? I am a little doubtful because again we will have a committee to keep a track of all the corruption but who is going to keep track of people in the committee? However, we can always try to curb corruption. Do you think some people blindly supported the cause? Not really, because the cause was right and everyone knew that they should support it. |
