Shooting for daily soaps can be monotonous but the cast of Maryaada... lekin kab tak? got a treat when Abhishek Bachchan and Rana Daggubati visited the sets to make a special appearance in the show. While Rana marks his TV debut, Abhishek will seen after a hiatus on television.
Presence of Superstar Abhishek created ripples in the unit, who rushed to get a glimpse of this charismatic actor. Abhishek, dressed in denims from head to toe, was in a fun mood to shoot the party scene and chatted nineteen to a dozen with everyone. He happily posed for the shutterbugs as well. Abhishek's easy-going personality and humility pleased everyone on the sets. Interestingly, Abhishek didn't let his friendliness overcome his professionalism as he hardly wasted time while shooting. During the break, he would be busy practicing his dialogues. Talking about his experience on the shoot, Abhishek revealed, "It was really nice to shoot with them. I have immense respect for all the television actors and the pace at which they shoot. It is really amazing to see the speed they shoot every scene."
Currently, love birds Aditya (Raquesh Vashisht) and Priya (Riddhi Dogra) are enjoying their tiffs and make up sessions in Maryaada... lekin kab tak? and while their superb on-screen chemistry is evident in the show, the two share an equally great off-screen chemistry too. Aditya said, "Riddhi is a great co-star to have. We have to shoot for hours every day, so automatically we become close to people on the sets. Be it anyone, we all have so much fun. As for shooting with Abhishek, well it was great. He is a superb actor. I admire his camera presence and acting skills. It was fun. He is also a lot of fun."
Dressed in a lovely white off shoulder dress, Priya was thrilled to meet Abhishek while Aditya too shared her excitement. Priya exclaimed, "It has been interesting interacting with ACP Kamat aka Abhishek Bachchan. It is wonderful to have him shoot with us. Be it any Bollywood actor, it's always nice when they come on television."
Not only did Jr Bachchan have a great experience shooting, he also the discussions on food. During the lunch break, he discussed some of his favourite foods made in desi ghee with Aditya and Priya. However, Rana was completely at a loss and didn't get some of the north Indian dishes discussed. Abhishek came to his help and explained, even promising Rana to get some for him next time they met. As the scenes were serious, Abhishek would make everyone laugh with his jokes and witty one-liners. "The episode we shot was very serious, but even I had a great time with the cast of the show," explained Abhishek.
Rana, who plays the role of DJ in the show, isn't used to shooting for hours. But the actor was very relaxed and gave each shot very graciously. Rana hails from the South, which was very evident from his Hindi and as he fumbled some words and made everyone smile. "I have a Hyderabadi accent, which is why my Hindi sounds funny," said Rana.
While most of the youngsters think it's cool to be seen around with a bottle of beer in one hand and a cigarette in another, youth icon, Abhishek Bachchan has a different story to tell! Catch Abhishek as he engraves a new idea of fun while barring all the poisons of sorts from the lives of youngsters!
