Hi Lennie,
That was a great analysis as usual.👍🏼
I am very happy they chose Neil for this role. 👍🏼he can act and how.
My favorite expression was when Gulaal throws water on his face and there is that quick shift in his expressions from shock to anger at her to anger with himself😳
Hmm....I personally dont think drinking is a great thing to do, but I can understand that Kesar is right now suffocated and does not know what to do.
I hope they show him finding out the truth about Gulaal and the story then moves on from there.
Did you see the way Gulaal reacted in the end. More than disgust or disappointment with Kesar she looked heartbroken when she spoke about Vasant and Mothabha and Paanba....I love the character Gulaal and how she never looses sight of what she is here for👏...serving this family. I thought the way Mansi spoke those lines was very good too😳
Thanks

Hi Kasturi...If I may call you that..if not plz tell me how to address you😳😃
@ bold...absolutely spot on...that is Gulaal, she has that spunk, courage and a sense of right and wrong so clearly defined that it is difficult to oppose her, her dignity and courage that arises out of her truthfulness wont let you do so...that is her power and that only comes when you have put in the thought of others first in your mind and in everyday of your life, Gulaal has put so much for this family, her life and her heart at stake, she had every right to do what she did and feel offended, angry and disgusted by what is going on.....

Hi Shrushti,
Yes tou can call me Kasturi. pleased to meet you.😊
I totally agree with what you have written. This is the reason why I love Gulaal. there is no false bravado or sacrifice. There is only a clear headed purpose and conviction in her belief. and she is not afraid to go with her belief.
She loved Vasant. She adopted Talsagra as her village. She wanted to help a group of people who were struggling for the basic necessity of life ...that is water.Embarrassed
Through this she fell in love with a man, married him....and now is responsible for his family.Embarrassed
So when she sees any situation that hampers the well being of this set of people and her dead husband's wishes she is very clinical and determined to overcome it. example forgiving Dushyant, or the deeyarrvattu and now bringing Kesar on track.
I have always maintained that Gulaal's characterisation is very crisply written and Mansi sticks to the line beautifully. ClapClap No expression of hers is out of line. Her whole entry in that room the harsh and stric tone which was muttered to be as less noisy as possible when she says "i have closed the door so that no one sees you" and then when she gives Kesar a piece of her mind.
FabulousClap

am reproducing the same over here....

Edit
So even Talli realizes that it is only Gulaal who can get through Kesar...hmmm....interesting... I thought the girl thought that Kesar also revolved around her as she did to Kesar😡😆
😆 LOL, everything relating to a marriage revolves arounds Talli lol

Beautiful caps Lennie...just saw the emotions getting reflected on both their faces, Gulaal all worried a bit angry and then shocked but yet fully determined to get through Kesar this time and Kesar frustrated with all pented up anger, and helpless with all the pented up love.....this is the ultimate dilemma, how do you hate the person you love....how do you alienate the person who is the reason for your existence...there are so many questions that he needs answers of and that is perhaps he went to Vasant's photo...to get those answers...Vasant had always been the bridge between them, from day one...but now I am feeling it is going to be the other way round...Gulaal being the bridge between Kesar and Vasant...Kesar's journey towards being Vasant (that is getting into his shoes)... And as I said, he is now too alienated from the family to share his grief with anyone...so he goes to Vasant's photo..after all it was Vasant and the truth about him that has made Kesar reach this stage of loneliness and solitude...who made Kesar suddenly grow up and make decisions...he can be strong otherwise but before Vasant he can break down, because he knows that if except Dushyant and Gulaal and himself, if there is anyone who knows the truth it is Vasant himself and may be that is why in the state of deliriousness he is trying to reach out and find some answers from Vasant....

Gosh I dont make any sense😕...but there it is...😊

I loved your siggie Lennie, so apt for the current situation...mein yaha tukdo mein jee raha hoon, tu kahi tukdo mein jee rahi hogi....
Thank you 😊

Gulaal always uses Vasant when talking about Kesar and so on, its been her dream i guess like Vasant to see Kesar grown up and to wear his shoes and so on.
Kesar cant handle what he is feeling and on other hand he cant say anything to anyone esp Gulaal, if there is one thing Kesar can hold onto is Vasant which he was with the photo and so on, and do everything for Vasant if thats how he wants to look at it, but i think his first step towards the right direction has to be the truth and then understanding Gulaal
He is acting out, he cant be settled in Gulaal's presense entirely and with D he just cant be bothered to show anything for him in the sense of even talking properly to him, always in riddles
Stuck between love and hate, angerness etc, is such a hard place to be and we saw how he is trying to cope, but at the end of day - it never leaves him, and he is destroying himself
Thanks for liking the sig, it suits them those lyrics 😊

Manasi is awesome, always have been - she is Gulaal and beyond and what she stands for (i agree with what Srushti said in her post when replying to you about Gulaal😊), the emotions she has on her face, each scene and the way it switches to so many emotions, and Neil is so good Clap
She is heartbroken and hence the tears always flow when with Kesar and what he does, she catn quite understand who this person in front of her is, esp as she can see its not her Kesar - this one is constantly ignoring her, doesnt talk to her properly and so on
One of the things i like about Kesar is, that he isnt ignorant to how he is being or has been, you saw he knew what he was doing, its not like he is ignorant to it, and he feels guilt and shamefaced for it, but he just cant help it at times etc
