She stood in front of the idol of lord Ganpati with folded hands and closed eyes, the scene where dutta was taken away in the van flashed before her eyes and she whispered his name silently, praying for his safety and return she opened her eyes and looked at Him with the belief that he would definitely come back to her soon no matter people around her were losing hope but she had full faith in her bappa after all He brought him as her savior in her life and after facing so many trials they had finally united then now could he just leave her like that when even he had started believing in her bappa. No it was totally unacceptable to her to think that he was no more " mujhe aap (bappa) par aur apne pyar par pura bharosa hai , sahab zaroor lautenge , unhein lautna hi hoga . aapne har kadam par meri pariksha li hai aur maine khushi khushi di hai lekin is baar pariksha meri nahin apki hai. Ek insaan jo aap par vishas nahin karta tha aaj usey bhi apke astitva (existence)par bharosa hone laga hai aise mein aap uske vishwas ko kaise undekha kar sakte ho." She picked up his ganpati locket, tied it to the edge of her saree, that he had thrown away in anger long time back and decided to give him back once he returned.
The clock struck 10, she went to the kitchen to get his dinner ready and thought of feeding him with her own hands. Just the thought brought back those wonderful moments that they had spent in the jungle alone where she made halwa for him and he had asked her to make something sweet for him to have once he returned after rescuing the villagers. This again gave her the hope that he would come back home safely because now he could he even see properly. When he had lost his eye sight he still managed to put up a brave fight and now after gaining his eye sight the old Dutta Shreeram Patil was back which brought a smile to her face and she started making kheer for him.
She took the dinner tray to their room and kept it on the table. She stood near the window gazing at the moon and stars above. The night became cooler and she wrapped her saree around herself to keep warm, hours passed away which made her eyes heavy. She sat on the floor and leaned her head on the wall thinking "sahab aasmaan mein jaage hue taaron ko bhi ab toh neend aane lagi, aap ab laut aao aur intezaar mat karwao." Soon sleep took over her making her close her eyes. He kneeled in front of her and moved back the tendril behind her ear gently which was stopping his view. Her angelic face looked weak and distressed due to his absence, even in her sleep she appeared restless and lines of worry were clearly visible. He pressed his lips on her creased forehead softly making her murmur "sahab"
She opened her eyes slowly to find a bruised and bleeding dutta in front of her. Unable to believe what she saw she embraced his face tenderly in both her hands. Tears of happiness welled up in her eyes as she felt his touch but the happiness was short lived when she realized that he was wounded "sahab apko toh chot lagi hai , kitna khoon beh raha hai , mein abhi dawai lagati hoon." And rushed to get the first aid box, she dipped the cotton ball with antiseptic and started cleaning her bruised neck slowly then moved to his temple and pressed the cotton on his bleeding wound, he hissed in pain and grabbed her hand kept on his shoulder. She moved closer towards the corner of his mouth and rubbed the cotton gently over it then blew on it slowly to relieve him of pain. With her just centimeters away from him he felt like drowning in her soulful eyes and whispered "nakku". As if That's all she wanted to hear so she threw her arms around him, the tears which she tried to control for long time now dropped from her eyes like pearls , he pulled her closer and rested his chin on her shoulder, inhaling her sweet fragrance and feeling her long awaited touch "sahab aap kahan chale jate ho mujhe chod kar? Thakh gayi hoon main apka intezar kar karke. Pehle umeed jagate ho aur phir door chale jate ho, kahan the itne din?kyun itna waqt laga diya? Jaaana tha toh mujhe batakar kyun nahin gaye?kabhi socha ki apke bina mein kaise rahegi? Ab chup kyun ho ?jawaab do." He broke the hug and caressed her tear stained face"itne sawaal kar rahi hai , ek baar bhi pucha ki sahab apne kuch khaya ki nahin?." She slapped her forehead for forgetting to ask him whether he was hungry. She at once got the tray and started feeding him with a big smile on her face, he too picked up a spoonful of rice and offered her "nahin sahab aap khao mein baad mein kha legi." Not willing to accept her excuse he didn't move his hand back "jab tak tu nahin khayegi mera peth kaise bharega?" how could she refuse him this time so ate the rice happily.
She kept the empty tray aside and he took her hands in his "raat bahut ho gayi hai ab tu so ja ." she nodded her head in negative "nahin sahab main nahin soyegi , main janti hai agar main soyi toh aap phir mujhe chod kar chale jaoge. Ab toh main apni palkein bhi nahin jhapkayegi (blink) is darr se kahin aap mujhse door na ho jao." He smiled at her innocent yet true love and brought her closer, he wrapped his arm around her and she placed her head on his chest "nakku main tujhse door kaise jaa sakta hoon, tere bina mein adhura hoon tera saath paa kar pura hota hoon. Tu mujh mein basti (reside)hai , yeh saansein sirf tera naam leti hain." He could feel her breathing getting heavy so closed her tired eyes and kept his chin on her head , even in her sleep she clutched on to his kurta tightly when suddenly she remembered about tying the ganpati locket around him so opened her eyes immediately and took out the locket from her saree "sahab yeh maine apke?" she looked around frantically in search of him but found him missing. She stood up and scanned the whole room but failed to find him when her gaze fell on the table where she had kept the dinner tray. She moved towards it to find it untouched , helpless tears rolled down her eyes when she realized that it was just a dream , he had still not returned. She walked like a lifeless being and stood in front of his photo frame.

Nakku went to AS room to give her medicine who refused to have them till dutta returned " AS aap dawai kha lejiye nahin toh apki tabiyet kharab ho jayegi." AS pushed away the glass of water that nakku offered her "nahin nakku , hum dawai nahin lenge, jab dutta nahin raha toh hum jee kar kya karenge?" nakku sat next to her and held her hand "apko kisne kaha sahab zinda nahin hain? Who zaroor kahin phase honge aur jald wapis aa jayenge , issey pehle bhi toh unpar kayi baar humle hue hain lekin woh har baar laute hain nah? Is baar bhi wapis aa jayenge aap mera vishwas karo." Nakku wiped away AS tears and held the medicines in front of her " nakku agar hum dutta to ko ek baar sahi salamat dekh lein toh humein chain par jayega phir humein in dawaayion ki bhi zaroorat nahin padegi."nakku once again picked up the glass of water in her free hand " bas itni si baat ? aap sahab ko dekhna chahti hain nah? Toh aap apni aankhein bandh kar ke dekhiye sahab apke samne honge. Nazron se bhale hi woh humse door hain lekin dil se aaj bhi woh humare kareeb hain." AS looked at her hopefully "tu sach keh rahi hai? Dutta ayega nah?" nakku gave her a reassuring look "bilkul aayenge ,agar mujhe nazar aate hain toh apko bhi zaroor dekhayi denge , par uske liye apko dawaai kha kar araam karna hoga." This time AS took the medicine without protesting and laid back waiting for him to come soon. Nakku covered her with the duvet and switched off the lights " AS mein bahar jaa rahi hoon , thodi der mein laut aungi."
Nakku sat on the platform near the pond where dutta had brought her long time back to tell her how he changed from innocent and vulnerable dutta to dutta bhau the gangster. She brought her folded knees close to her chest, rested her hands on them and gazed at the setting sun which started to dip down to meet its beloved *the silent waves*. She closed her eyes and recalled how here he had poured his heart out to her, How a betrayed lover turned into a ruthless gangster and built a wall around himself so that no one would hurt him ever again, she could still feel his pain, anguish and bitterness. Her thoughts got interrupted when a few water droplets fell on her face, she opened her eyes and found him sitting next to her, throwing pebbles in the pond "aaj itni der lagadi mujhe yaad karne mein, kabse tera intezaar kar raha tha." The disappointment was clearly visible in his tone, she held both her ears and pulled them slightly which brought a smile on his face "sahab yaad toh usey kiya jaata hai jisey hum bhool gaye hon , apki nakku kya apko kabhi bhool sakti hai? Aur waise bhi intezaar main apka kar rahi hoon?subhah sham raat din , ab bahut ho gaya laut aao nah, itna pyar karte ho toh kyun itna door rehte ho." He lowered his head and didn't reply " janti thi har baar ki tarah is baar bhi apke pass mere kisi sawal ka jawaab nahin hoga." Unable to see his helpless and gloomy face she held his hand softly " yeh jagah dekh rahe ho sahab , yahan apki kadvee yadein basi hain , aana toh nahin chahti thi magar pata nahin kyun aaj mere kadam apne aap yahan chal pade." He looked at and gave her a faint smile "jab tak tujhe yahan nahin laaya tha tab tak yahan ki yaadein kadvee thi par tujhe lane ke baad un yaadon ki kadvahat kahin kho gayi. Itne saalon tak jo baatein maine apne andhar dabakar rakhi thi pata nahin us din apne aap mere hoton par aa gayin. Usse pehle log mere baare mein kya sochte the maine kabhi parwah nahin kari par tu mujhe galat samjhe mujhse bardasht nahin hua shayad isliye maine tujhse kuch nahin chupaya. Tujhe sab kuch bata kar us din woh saari kadvee yadein yahin dafan ho gayi aur mujhe ek aisa saathi mila jisne mere andhar soye hue dutta ko gheri neend se jaga diya. Yahan humare rishte ki shuruhat hui isliye aaj tere kadam tujhe yahan le aye, meri nazar se dekh toh yahan sirf achchi yaadein hain."
He straightened her bent knees to lay his head on her lap. She moved her fingers through his hair and he brought her other hand to keep it on his heart. He closed his eyes while she continued to look at him lovingly " kya soch rahe ho sahab?" his lips curled into a smile " soch nahin raha , ek sundar sapna dekh raha hoon." She fiddled with his kurta button and asked in excitement " kaisa sapna."
"hmm isis jheel ke kinare humara chota sa ghar ho. Raat ko os ki boondon se bheegi hui ghass par hum dono ekdusre ka haath thame chalte rahein aur jab thak kar hum yahan baithe toh main tujhe apni bahon mein bhar loon." He moved his hand behind her neck and pulled her face down , with her lips just a little away from his he continued " aur tujhe mere itne kareeb dekhkar abhi jaise suraj in lehron mein doob raha hai tab chand baadlon mein chup jaaye" She pressed her lower lip slightly and moved her head back in shame "par nakku hai toh yeh sapna hi, aankh khulte hi toot jaata hai aur aansoon niklte hi beh jaata hai." It pained to see him in pain, she caressed his face gently and smoothened the lines of worry that appeared on his forehead " main apke sapne ko apni palkon mein sajaa legi , inhe toot kar behne nahin degi , jis tarah apka pyar inmein basta hai usi tarah ab yeh sapna bhi meri aankhon mein chamkega aur pura hoga." He sat up and embraced her beautiful face in his hands then pressed his lips on her eye lids which brought a smile on her shy lips. She opened her eyes and lost her smile when she realized that he had disappeared once again, tears now sparkled in her eyes but she pushed them back and vowed not to cry again at least till he returned then she would shed happy tears. Although he had taken away her smile but today left his precious dream in her eyes to cherish and fulfill.
The scene shifted to a dark room where someone laid unconscious , with hands tied to the cot and eyes flickering to open he whispered softly "NAKKU"
He seemed restless , turned his head left and right in desperation when two men entered the room and one of them said "lagta hai isey hosh aa raha hai , koi baat nahin phirse neend ka injection de dete hain , pada rahega subha tak." Saying so he injected the glucose bottle connected to him via a drip.
In the morning nakku was making tea in the kitchen when she heard AS scream, she rushed out with tea cup and saw her sitting on the floor crying next to a body covered with white cloth "ayi jagdambh yeh nahin ho sakta , dutta tu humein chod kar nahin ja sakta." Nakku looked at baaji standing near the body with his head low, she approached him and pulled him by his collar " yeh sab kya hai baaji ? kaun hai yeh?" baaji looked up with tears in his eyes " nakku , yeh bhau ki laash .." she left his collar instantly and the tea cup dropped from her free hand " tu hosh main toh hai ? yeh sahab kaise ho sakte hain , sahab zinda hai , tu kyun bina wajah AS ko rula raha hai?" she kneeled down in front of AS and took her face in her hands " AS yeh sahab nahin ho sakte , aap kehti hain nah ki main unki surksha kavach hoon toh phir mere rehte unhe kaise kuch ho sakta hai , aap royie mat." AS pressed her hand lightly and with a cracked voice said " nakku yahi sach hai , dutta ab nahin raha , tu bhi ab is baat ko maan le beta." Nakku moved her hand back and stood up in anger " aap log kyun nahin samajhte sahab ko kuch nahin hua hain , woh laut kar ayenge . meri saansein chal rahi hain nah , mera dil dhadak raha hai nah ? yeh sab kaise hota agar sahab zinda nah hote ?SAHAAAB."
He woke up with a start and felt being called out by her, she was definitely in pain and needed him as soon as possible. He struggled to free his tied hands under the blanket when all of a sudden heard the door open, he shut his eyes and laid still. One of them said " abhi bhi behosh hai ?chalo agla injection thodi der baad de denge." And left the room, he opened his eyes and looked around trying to identify the place where he was kept captive but failed to recognize. His mind went back to his family who must be worried about him especially nakku who would have by now cried her heart out. Just the thought of her in being tears broke his heart in to million pieces, once again she was in distress because of him which made him boil in anger and his fingers curled in a fist. He pulled and twisted his right hand to free himself and after a lot of struggle managed to do so but ended up hurting his wrist. He examined it closely and remembered how every time he got bruised she would tear off her saree and wrap it around his hand. He missed her deeply her mere presence would brighten his dull life so he wanted to go back to her, embrace her and get his lost life his love back in his arms.
Nakku saw roops bringing down duttas picture which hung in their room, baaji took a garland and with trembling hands hung it on his picture, seeing this nakku became furious and pulled out the garland from his picture there by shocking baaji "nakku yeh kya kar rahi hai ? aise apshagun hota hai." She threw the garland on the floor in disgust "sharam nahin aati tujhe zinda insaan ki tasveer par haar chadate hue, kitni baar kahoon sahab zinda hain." He held her by shoulder in an attempt to calm her down but she shrugged him off and turned to leave " koi nahin manta nah meri baat ..theekh hai ab main is ghar mein sahab ke saath hi lautegi..main lekar ayegi unhein."
She walked on empty roads and made her way to the temple where she had seen him for the last time. Life had thrown many challenges at her and she had accepted all of them with a brave heart. At every step her love for him was tested and she passed out with flying colors. After facing so many hardships they had finally managed to unite and this time again she would not lose, their love would overcome all the obstacles. She stood in front of the temple and climbed up the steps slowly but with the firm determination to get him back in her life. It wasn't a test of their love on the contrary this time devi maas existence was at stake " bahut de di hum dono ne apne pyar ki pariksha ab apki baari hai. Aaj apko sabit karna hoga ki aap patthar ki bejaan murthi nahin ho . apko mujhe sahb se milvana hi hoga. Main tab tak apki parikrama karti rahegi jab tak sahab wapis nahin aate." She could bear anything but a life without him was unthinkable, unimaginable and totally unacceptable to her. She decided to circle the temple with eyes on the road and a sole thought in mind which said

She started her journey, the day was not pleasant , sun was shining at its peak as thought challenging her and her love but she seemed least affected and thought right now you are on fire , no one can stop you from being blazing hot , its your day but don't forget no one can stop him either from returning to me and that moment you will have to bow down in front of him and our love then nights will be all mine and it will rain love. As she began walking bare foot a twig pierced her soft skin, she stopped and took it out , her foot was bleeding but with every step she was bridging the gap between them.
He carefully heard the 2 men speak outside his room "pata nahin aur kitne din isko aise rakhna ha. Aaj toh iske ghar iske naam ki laash bhi bhej di .. kehte hain sabko iske marne ka yakeen hogaya magar iski biwi nahin manee. Paglon ki tarah is jagah jagah dhoondh rahi hai.. ajeeb aurat hai ." he smiled on hearing this , yes nakku , his nakku was not an ordinary woman , she was different from the others and much more stronger than him. In the past many a times he lost hope but she was always there for him and his family , giving him support and helping him face and overcome all the problems. The happiness of life lies in love but the path of love is not easy and for them it was never, For a moment he might have thought of giving up but she never gave up , neither on him nor on their love , that's what he admired the most about her and even today she proved that she had faith in her love and him , she knew he would come back to her and now he will not let her faith shake. His thoughts get disturbed when he heard one of them say " chal main usko neend ka injection laga kar aata hoon." Dutta got up immediately and stood next to the door, the man entered and looked around for him, dutta came from behind and twisted his neck in a second, the next moment he was lying on the floor dead. Dutta took his gun and went out cautiously but another one saw him coming and raised his gun to shoot him , dutta was quicker than him and shot him before he could do anything, hearing the gun shot one more came but dutta hid behind a pillar. When the man moved ahead dutta held him from behind and banged his head against the rock solid pillar.
For hours she continued to circle around the temple with joined hands. People visiting the temple were amazed by her devotion . While walking she felt being pulled back as if someone had tugged the edge of her saree. She stopped and thought of him "sahab , it must be him, he is back. He has the habit of holding her back by gripping her hand no her wrist with complete authority indicating everybody around that she belonged to him and only him." with a smile she turned around instantly but found the edge of her saree entangled with a bush. She raised her hand and looked at her wrist with disappointment realizing she was still alone and incomplete without him. She freed her edge of the saree and gazed at devi maas idol with a little helplessness, she closed her eyes not letting the tears roll down " sahab ab wapis laut bhi aao , meri umeed tootne se pehle, mere bhikarne se pehle mujhe sambhalne ke liye aa jao."
He peeped through the open window and was shocked to see the kidnapers face, once again the person close to him had betrayed him on whom he trusted so much broke his trust. He wanted to punish the culprit then and there but stopped himself when the thought of nakku searching for him like insane flashed across his mind. His revenge could wait but she couldn't any longer nor did he want to waste a minute being away from her.
She was getting tired and worn out but still continued to walk with bruised feet. Slowly the temple started getting empty ,it wasn't hot anymore, cool breeze was blowing when once again she felt being pulled back, she wanted to turn around but feared what if he wasn't there like before? Now she didn't have the heart to watch her hopes and dreams crash in front of her again. She was tired of all these mind games but her heart wasn't listening to her and forced her to look back. She saw him holding her sarees end, she dismissed it as yet another dream. She was about to take the next step when he snaked his arms around her tender waist and rested his chin on her shoulder. She closed her eyes in disbelief and thought this couldn't be a dream, she could forget everything but his touch NEVER, he was back for real,she could feel him breath near her neck raising the hair on her nape. He brushed his cheek against hers softly and she let out a sigh in relief. She could hear his heart beat or was it hers jumping with joy, she leaned on him and he tightened his grip on her.
After a few minutes she turned around in his arms and caressed his face lovingly to ensure herself that all this was actually happening , he held her palm placed on his cheek and she saw his bruised wrist. She took his wrist in her hands and kissed it gently which brought a smile on his lips "yeh sach hai nakku." She threw her arms around his neck and tears which she had held back for so long escaped her eyes finally. She gazed at the sky and found the hot , blazing sun now setting down, yes it had bow down in front of their love. She had a triumphant smile on her face but the tears weren't stopping neither she made an attempt to do so. He pressed her harder to his chest, closing every possible gap between them and sighed in contentment, finally she was in his arms , his life was back, he could live again. He moved his fingers through her hair to stop her from crying " ro mat, main wapis aa gaya hoon nah."she tightened her hold on him and said " sahab apke aane ki khushi se zyada mujhe apko phir se khone ka darr laga rehta hai." He couldn't disagree with her , life had always played cruel games with them , her fear was totally justified but she forgot that love was unbeatable even god cannot separate true lovers. He looked at devi maas idol which reaffirmed his belief that they were meant to be together. After all they separated here and eventually united again in front of HER. When devi maa couldn't bear to see their separation then how could anyone even think of succeeding in doing so " nakku ab main kahin nahin jaunga."and rubbed her back gently waiting for her to reply but she didn't.
Some time later he could feel the weight of her body on his , he broke the hug in confusion and found her head falling on his shoulder. Her eyes were closed and she fainted in his arms, he shook her , tapped her cheek "nakku ?nakku uth, hosh main aa." But she remained unconscious.
Back to Patil Niwas
Nakku laid on the bed while dutta , baaji , AS surrounded her and watched the doctor examine her. The doctor checked her blood pressure and said before leaving" kamzori aur thakaan ki wajah se behosh ho gayi hain. Lagta hai kayi dinon se soyi nahin hain , thora aaraam karengi toh theekh ho jayengi , ghabrane ki koi baat nahin hai."AS thanked aayi jagdambh " dutta hum haar gaye , haar gaye tere pyar aur nakku ke vishwas ke aaghe . ek baar phir nakku ka vishwas jeet gaya." Baaji smiled and kept his hand on duttas shoulder " sach bhau hum sab toh umeed kho hi baithe the lekin nakku ne kabhi haar nahin manee….waise tujhe kidnap kisne kiya tha." Dutta seethed with anger on recalling the kidnappers face and cursed the person under his breath on seeing nakkus plight " ek baar nakku theekh ho jaye phir main us insaan ko kisi bhi keemat par nahin chodunga jiski wajah se nakku ki yeh halat hui hai." AS nodded her head in agreement " tu theekh keh raha hai , yeh sab toh baad main bhi dekha ja sakta hai philhaal tum dono aaraam karo , hum dono chalte hain."and left the room with baaji.
Dutta took a blanket , covered her properly and tucked it under her chin. He was about to move back when his gaze fell on her wounded feet, he kneeled down and examined the deep cuts. He immediately got an ointment and applied it carefully, it pained him to see her in such a state and whispered " kyun itna pyar karti hai ki tere pyar kea age *pyar* shabd bhi chota padh jaata hai." He saw the anklets which he had got for her on her feet and brushed them slightly making them tinkle " tu dabbe paon meri zindagi main aayi aur kab meri duniya ban gayi mujhe pata hi nahin chala. Tu bhi kahin sabki tarah mujhe chod kar na chali ja humesha yeh darr rehta tha isliye yeh tere payal ki cham cham tere aas pass hone ka ehsaas dilati thi. Door ho kar bhi tu mere kareeb thi."
He walked slowly and stood near the open window. He looked at his hands and thought " in haathon se itne gunaah hue phir bhi inhe tera saath mila , kyun? Maine to sirf Morey se teri izzat bachayi aur tune ek hi pal mein apne saare sapne , khwaishein, khayal , khushiyan yahan tak ki apni zindagi mere naam kardi aur badle mein mere saare gham , dard , takleefein , gussa aur behrukhi le lee. Maine tujhe itne dukh diye lekin tune humesha badle mein pyar aur sirf pyar diya." He turned his face, gazed at her sleeping form and continued to think that he tried his best to keep her away from him but she somehow always managed to eliminate the distance between them. She gave him countless number of reasons to love her while he on the other hand gave her every possible reason to hate him but she ignored them all and just loved him selflessly. What did she see in him which seema and supriya failed to? After all he was the same for everyone. He smiled inwardly and looked up to the moon to seek his answers " tu toh ussey achche se jaanta hai , ghanton tujhse baatein karti thi, mujhe toh usmein apna sabse kareebi dost mil gaya tha .. par shayad main uska sabse achcha dost nahin ban paaya ..tabhi toh tujhmein woh mujhe dhoondhti thi. Mera aks (shadow) tujhmein dekhti thi. Meri jagah tujhse apne dard aur aansoo bhantaa karti thi. Door ho kar bhi tu uske dil ka haal samajh jaata tha aur main pass ho kar bhi uski nazrein nahin padh paata tha." He leaned on the window and crossed his arms in front of his chest " waise hum dono ek jaise hain. The moon couldn't disagree with him, lowered its eyes and hid behind dark clouds. Just then lightning struck hard disturbing his thoughts and her sleep making her call out "SAHAB"
He rushed and laid next to her then slowly moved her hair back falling on her face. She held her collar and drew him closer "sahab"he smiled and asked "sahab ke ilaava bhi kuch bolna aata hai?"she met his gaze and replied " kya karoon *sahab* ke aaghe har shabd , har cheez , har insaan bemaana (worthless) lagta hai."he pressed his lips on her forehead "aap kya kar rahe the?" he rested his head on her pillow "hmm tere chand se baatein kar raha tha." She frowned and asked " phir kya kaha usne ?" he held her by her waist and said " kuch nahin , meri baatein sun kar baadlon mein jakar chup gaya." On hearing this she got a bit teary " woh toh chala gaya lekin mere asli chand aap ho , aap toh nahin jaoge nah?" he nodded his head in negation and she smiled through her tears making him ask " apne chote se dil mein mere liye itna pyar kaise bhar leti hai?" she closed her eyes letting the tears roll down " nahin rakh paa rahi hoon tabhi toh aaj aankhon se chalakh (fall) rahe hain." He kissed her tears away " main apne pyar ko is tarah behne nahin doonga." She wrapped her arms around his back and he moved down to claim her lips but she turned her head shyly and he pecked her neck soflty. The lights went off and it started to rain heavily, soon the room was covered in darkness, nothing could be heard except the tinkling of her anklets as two long lost souls met and became one.
