Why would Tanmay want to take revenge?
I know he loved his brother very much, but he didn't know his true colours.
But all Shikha has to do is make him listen to the tape recording of Ranvijay admitting that he was the reason behind Arpita and Avdesh's misunderstanding. Wouldn't that clear things up? At least that way he will understand why Avdesh killed Ranvijay.
