Much like his character in Bhabhi, new entrant Bhanujeet Sudhan is
desirable and single
GITA HARI
Rucha Gujarati has recently entered the afternoon daily Bhabhi as
the lead protagonist Suhana. If the buzz is to be believed, very soon,
love is going to bloom between her and the new kid in town, Nihaal,
who plays Suhana's devar. He is a 25-year-old guy who has returned
from Canada after 17 years and encourages his bhabhi to find her own
identity and stop being a battered housewife. Though he's ready for an
arranged marriage with a good Indian girl, he finds himself falling in
love with his bhabhi.
The actor essaying the role is Bhanujeet Sudhan, a model from
Delhi, who is debuting in TV with this show. Revealing more about
himself, he says, "I shifted to Mumbai two years ago and till then I
was into modelling and theatre in Delhi." But he finds modeling has
changed a lot with the entry of filmstars and the scope is limited for
the others. Throwing light on his role he informs, "This young
entrepreneur Nihaal is a charming dude, a good listener, a perceptive
chap with good EQ, and a mind sensitive to the emotional needs of his
friends and people around him." The character sounds a very desirable
one, and so will be Bhanujeet, since he is single! "I don't have
anyone special in my life yet," he says shyly.
Back to his serial, ask him if he'd have preferred a prime time
show, and he says, "I don't discriminate between afternoon and prime
time slots. Everything depends on how I deliver my performance. If I
am good, I will get work in the main roles as long as viewers want to
see me." Bhanujeet is also awaiting the release of a telefilm called
Arjun Verma, wherein he plays the lead opposite starlet Seema Rehmani.
He is aware of the hectic schedules of our daily soaps and is
prepared to face it, "I am sure the initial two months will be hectic,
then I will get adjusted to it." But he is not too forthcoming when
asked if he will be shown falling in love with his bhabhi. He says,
not denying though, "For that you have to watch the serial!"
