Badly Done
I know, I know.......just this morning I was advocating the power of positive thinking.......but somehow couldn't help feeling really disappointed after watching today's episode. 😭
Not just disappointed, but discouraged and maybe even
heartbroken. Heartbroken for the sake of a young, innocent yet intrepid girl named Arpita. What today's episode showed was that for all her sacrifices, admonitions and untiring
efforts at reformation, poor Arpi really couldn't change the violent, blood-thirsty nature of Avdesh. 😭
Despite, ostensibly paying with her life, she could not bring about a
fundamental change in Avdesh. He did, briefly, give up arms'.but today, when he was forced to meet the man in the mirror by RV, he reverted to his age-old violent avatar of the gun-wielding Gunahon Ka Devta. And he shot. Shot to kill.

The stinker was that he committed cold-blooded (or rather
hot-headed) murder not because he was trying to avenge Arpi's death....no........he fired the gun because a severly injured, incapacitated man dared to introduce him
to the real Avdesh Singh Thakure.......the AST who was jealous, suspicious, uncontrolled, self-absorbed
and insecure.....and above all, who was wholly undeserving of Arpi's pure, unalloyed, unmitigated love.

Badly done Mr. Thakur, very badly done.

I guess an argument could be made that RV was an evil person
and for all his sins against AviTa, deserved to die. But surely not in this manner. Avi's action was unacceptable on so many levels, not the least of which was that he fired on an injured, unarmed man. This has to be against all rules of engagements, against all codes of honour.

I am severely disappointed at the Creatives for bringing
about RV's end in this manner. They have totally butchered Avi's character in the process.

But, and with me you know there are always buts, I am still hopeful......still hopeful of a morning in Lallanpur when its most well-known resident will learn the meanings of pause, reflection, consideration, careful deliberation. When he will
remember and be inspired by the life of a remarkable young girl who had taught him the meaning of life. And when he, perhaps, will open his heart to the healing power of love, to the miracle of life once again.......this time by holding
the hand of another young girl named Pihu.

I am hopeful of him finally fulfilling the promise of what I
wrote in the third paragraph
here. I had
really felt then that the metamorphosis was imminent. To a certain extent it was : he was a changed man in the jungle. But everything went back to square one (to borrow Nandini's phrase 😊)subsequently.

So now the question remains, will we be disappointed yet again?😕

Thanks for reading and I look forward to your
views/comments.

(Vaise aapas ki baat hai, yeh "like" button kaafi kamaal ki
cheez hai.....zara istemal karke to dekhiye 😛)

Well said Vistaa..I was sorely disappointed too... I couldn't believe that he shot RV inspite of everthing Arpitha did ..Everthing gone to waste..& like u said what was more distressing was that he shot him cos he could not hear the truth about himself...... Letz see if the truth being spelt out so openly on his face will bring about a complete reformation in Avi...And I really hope Pihu is Arpitha...Avi & Arpitha deserve a second chance to make up for all past mistakes & find true happiness with each other......

Yes they do.....a do-over when both have learnt from past mistakes.
Thanks Laxmi for reading and commenting.😊
I was feeling so low after watching the episode😕....what a waste of an opportunity of redemption ......can you imagine how much better it would have been had Avi turned away from RV after pointing his gun at him for a minute and then spat out :
"Tumhe meri Devi samaan biwi ke paaon padna chahiye jisne aaj tumhaari jaan bachayee hai"

hey vista its early morning but i echo ur thought process

see i had always said when we see our first reaction is different but later when we think it seems different

rv end came soon but he showed avdesh the kind of bewakoof he is.

and we all thought avdesh wont kill.

so rv was right in calling him bewakoof .

i wud write more on this later abhi chai nahi pi hai

In some post I had written also that Avi would never kill her as he had promised Arpi... But Vistaa for all u know it could have been a dream going by GKD's track record and Avi would just throw the gun & walk off ...If he killed RV how is he out in the open.... Shouldn't he be in prison for cold blooded murder....

hey Vista,

i must say it took me a minute there to find the like button......lol...but i think your post well deserves it.

u have some amazing writing skills....loved the way you expressed your thoughts......and yes i definitely agree with you.......he killed RV out of hatred for himself and didn't think of Arpita's sacrifices at all....

with that kind of violent behaviour, one wouldn't doubt that he might as well try to commit suicide........but then again, he might stay in denial and resort to violence as way of coping with his guilt......

last nite after i went to sleep the episode was still playing in my head.. and vista u put the words to my thoughts

telepathy hui hai lagta hai.

what my subconscious mind was thinking u had put in words here.

u said it dear

avdesh had never killed anyone even when pointing guns at them

all he has used was his 200kg ka mukka

ranvijay single handed did everythng to finish bhaiyaji but he hit home hard hitting truths.. atleast he knew avdesh is bhainsbuddhi and just brawns no brains

this time arpita was not there to save ranvijay and i think this also hit rv.
he didnt talk about bahuji seeing avdesh anger and he knew avdesh wud never believe him thats why hit that arpita lost her life becoz of avdesh..

in a way when we say kisi ke jaane ke baad hi uski importance samaj aati hai

its same for both rv and avdesh

rv coz arpita was not there to save and for avdesh that he didnt trust his wife but trusted strangers

and again trust factor played a game here

if u dont trust ur own wife and listen to others this is what wud happen to u

in a way it was a reality of life for most viewers too

That is most definitely a point worth considering.....yayyyy....maybe it is a dream.
On the other hand, if it is real, then are we to see Avi behind bars?😲😲😲😲....
Not good, so not good *shakes head*

vista ur last line avi behind bars

that is possible
and why cos at the end of the day avdesh is criminal and he has to pay for his crimes

it wud be typical filmy with all ended and avdesh wud serve his time in prison and come out a better person

kahani filmy hogi tab

bt it wud come right at the end not now

now avdesh new transformation wud be in process

Thanks Sonia....
If he does attempt to commit suicide, then the Othello parallel would be complete.
(cue for forum members to pounce on Vista....*Vista runs for her life*😆😆😆😆)
I think at the moment he has the pressing matter of Shikha to take care of.....but once that is done, being AST would be a very difficult thing indeed. For some time to come.
He would have to undergo some sort of catharsis.....only then would there be a new beginning.
