Kanha's Leela Updated Pg 9 & 11

Today I thought of opening up a topic on the basis of Kanha Leela which is main theme of the show.

Let us take some circumstances that has happened thus far and examine Kanha's involvement in this.

1)How did Radhika and Dev get married and what where the circumstances leading to it?

Rohan was to play the role of Kanha on Radhashtami, but he chose not to on the wrong advice given by Virat---Not only that he nominated Dev to do the role and wished him to get all the good luck and his Radharani. If we look at it from the present scenario would it have been possible for Radhika and Dev to get married now? Is that the reason why they were put into the pavitra bandhan of marriage as children?

2) Why was the old man pushed off the stairs?

The old RP was supposed to announce the next RP the following day after consulting Kashi-Maharaj. But was the time appropriate for such an announcement? No, because the next RP would have been one of the children, and anybody other than Viraat would have been in danger from BB. Having said this, Kanha's leela will have more meaning when the BB herself will have to announce the next RP which will be the same person the elder RP had in mind.

3) Radhika and Dev's meeting after 12years?

Here I see the mischievous Kanha playing with his devotee. Radhika is going to college for the first time in Mathura. She goes to the temple to seek the Lord's blessings, as she gets the flower as prasad she thinks only of her KK and not about her studies, that is how deeply she has been thinking about him. Radhika and Dev meet and have a conversation during the boat ride. Radhika is mesmersised and instantly attracted to Dev. Kanha is watching all this playfully. they meet again the next day and we had the funny park scenes, Radhika was totally into this and enjoyed the moment thoroughly. she tells Kanha in the night and Kanha says are you happy still laughing at her, and then puts the seedsof doubt when someone talks about the suhaagan puja? Kanha wants to know if Radhika has understood is this is her KK, hence the doubts have been created---needless to say Radhika goes back crying about having committed paap---Kanha has a hearty laugh and thinks you wanted to see KK, I have brought him in front of you but you did not recognise and let me see how I can help you.

4) Choice of Radhika as the bride?

During Holi Radhika sees Dev everywhere, she tries to avoid him, runs away and goes to the temple and fires Kanha. I liked the scene where she asks Kanha with authority, afterall I asked you for my KK and cannot you do this for me, you keep bringing this unknown guy in front of me and confusing me a lot. Is this the way you answer your devotee's call? Kanha thinks ARRe buddhoo, teek hai let me help you further. He makes her run for the earthern pot having the fire in it and makes her remove it lest the entire place may catch fire and in the bargain we have the great face to face meeting of Radhika and the acting RPian with her entire batallion. the acting RPian takes an instant liking for Radhika as she has judged her to be weak, meek and obedient, an ideal choice for the CB post. Remember the Kanha's leela here is---the BB herself is going to get the CB of the family as per prophecy.

5) Why did Dev go with the Shagun?

The apparent reason is the rich RPfamily need not go to a Julaha"s house with the shagun and hence they nominated Dev, who has been treated asa servant of the family to take on their behalf. But what is Kanha's leela in this? Bringing Shanthi into play. Kanha is till laughing at Radhika, she is turning away from Dev and Kanha wants to play with her by presenting as if Dev has come as the prospective groom for Chanda and as a result we saw the pouting Radhika and reluctantly accepting him as Chanda's would-be. The main purpose of Kanha here is to make Shanthi put up the condition with BB, that if Rohan and Radhika have to get married, Chanda and Dev to be married too. The reason why this is important is because, had Dev not come with the shagun would Shanthi know the existence of Dev. Then it would have been a straight forward marriage of Radhika and Rohan.

This is the way I see Kanha's leela and his mischief with his ardent devotee Radhika.

Yes, you are right on the button with your thought process. I had mentioned about this a couple of days back in my post, that Radhika will get the authentic info that it is one of the RP boys who played Kanha in Rasleela. This also gives her chance to explore her feelings for Dev and the connect that she has with him. If Dev had not come, then Radhika would have still refused to marry unless she gets info of her KK. Mansa would have come back saying it is the youngest pota of RP who was Kanha which would have established Rohan as her KK and thus a straight-forward marriage. By Dev coming for the shagun she gets to know he is associated with the RP family.

Therefore it is Kanha's leela and you picked on it.👍🏼

Kudos Radha......!! Brilliant analysis of Kanha's leela beautifully falling in place for the characters. Reading this post was a sheer delight for me and i couldnt stop myself from reading it totally and when i did......i wanted more.

Surely enough hadnt Kanha played these Leela's.......Dev and Radhika would have never met......would have never known the other existed. So the kid raas leela happened......so only did Dev meet her in Mathura ghat and gave her a ride and instantly they felt the connection.....and so only did Dev arrive with the shagun.....

You have written the whole thing in your words so beautifully.....be it Kanha's mischief's with his devotee or him having a hearty laugh at her confusion when she repented on feeling attracted to Dev.

Why did the pundit Inform Radhika she was married?

Dev and Radhika were married to each other unknowingly, more by way of fun. But there was a sanctity attached to it as they had taken these 7 pheres only with the blessings of Kanha but the message has to be conveyed to Radhika who is his devotee. This is the only way she would have remained true to this marriage.

Kanha's leela is everywhere in CB...whatever happens in Radev's life kanha will be with Radev and will be helping them on right time ...Even if many obstacles come in their way everything will be moved away by kanha ...We know these are his experiments to Radhika but she has full faith in her kanha.. We too...
