A few years ago, actresses in television serials were decked up from head to toe. This lavish look was in vogue with each leading lady wearing heavy saris and jewelry, greasepaint et al. However, times have now changed as actresses are opting for the simple and more realistic look. We take a look at some popular faces on the small screen who believe in keeping it simple.

Navya who plays the title role on STAR Plus' show is a 19 year old college going girl. Her innocence and youth reflects in her simple look. She's not the usual trendy collegian and sports a simple salwar kameez with hair always tied into a neat plait.

yeah not all the college going gals leave their hair... there are still some gals who wear a simple plait and go to the college.. like me..😆 i can connect my life to navya... its kinda realistic.. even though i'm not that shy as she is!! 😎

yaar inho ny sirf jewellery pehennna chori hai and all tht sari's etc etc lekin ye without make nahi aati stick base foundation talcum powder face powder eye shadows blush lipstick sb hota hai in k face py dark nai hota tou kia hua par this is not totally natural so ye kehna mere point of u se galat hai cuz i have seen her on tv when she was watching final world cup match without make up...well i dont agree with dis...

n i know no one will agree with me 😛
