Just a note: Some of you commented on how informal it was when the Khuranas met the Handas, but the truth is I have no idea what happens when a boy & his family come to meet a girl, both my older sisters had love marraiges & none of that meeting ever happened which explains my lack of experience in that area! So do pardon my mistakes!

Chapter 3:
10 minutes into their car journey & Maan & Geet realised they were lost.
"Do you know the way to the theme park?" Maan asked.
"I don't go to theme parks that often, we used to go when we were younger but I don't remember now."
"But you live here, you should know."
Maan continued driving, with Geet peeking out from the back.
"Turn left!" she said quickly. Maan took a risky swerve, almost sending Geet flying off her seat.
She managed to pick herself back up, giving the back of Maan's head evils. He was too busy driving to notice.
They finally reached the theme park. Maan parked the car & Geet jumped out, walking off ahead, looking for Pari.
She finally found her, standing with their parents, Dev & Savitri Devi.
"Geet, you're-"
Geet pulled Pari away from everyone else, who had their backs to them & were speculating on the many rides at the theme park.
"Pari, why did you leave me?"
"I didn't think you'd have a problem coming with Maan, it's not like you're thinking of marrying him or anything."
"But still, I-"
Geet stopped talking when she saw Dev approaching them.
"Hello, ladies," he said with a charming smile.
"Look who it is, Delhi's favourite munda again," said Geet, smirking. Dev still didn't know what munda meant & looked confused - his face expression made Geet & Pari burst out into laughter again.
Maan had been standing near his jeep, avoiding going to his Dadi & the Handa by pretending to make sure the car was in its usual good condition when he heard the sound of laughter, like tinkling charms.
He looked to his left & saw the back of Dev's head blocked Pari from his sight so all he could see was Geet laughing away. He stared at her for a while, amazed by how beautiful she looked. Her laugh was infectious enough to bring a smile to anyone's face.
Dev suddenly turned around then, & Maan quickly looked away, not wanting to get caught out by his younger brother.
"Maan!" Dev called. Maan awkwardly patted the back of his beloved jeep & went over to join them.
Geet & Pari were still sniggering over Dev.
"Bro, i was thinking, how about we all link up & go see some rides? I doubt Dadi & the Handas will want to go on the rollercoasters. What do you think, girls?"
Pari nodded in agreement.
"Why not?" said Geet casually, shrugging her shoulders. "But me & Pari get to choose which ride we go to first."
~After half an hour of queueing, the foursome reached Geet & Pari's chosen ride - Oblivion. It was a rollercoaster for the adrenaline junkies - with so many twists and turns in it, and an unbelieveable high point, which zoomed all the way down.
Geet & Pari both shared a love for scary rides, & were excited to get on it.
They climbed into the seats; Pari was first, and strapped herself in. Dev was eager to sit next to her, but Geet, who was behind him tapped him on the shoulder, indicating for him to sit elsewhere.
Dev settled behind Pari instead, with Maan joining him.
The ride started slow at first, then picked up speed and went faster. Geet & Pari were shrieking, their arms up in the air, laughing & enjoying themselves.
Dev was also waving his arms up in the air, having some fun, but Maan looked bored and sat calmly with his arms folded, not letting the ride phase him. He was looking at the zooming theme park going past him when something whipped him across his face & caught his attention.
Geet's curly brown hair was going crazy behind her due to the immense wind and was flying in his face. Maan brushed the soft curls off his face but they whipped him again. He turned his head but they were now tickling his ear.
Dev got lucky as Pari had brushed her hair to one side and was flying to her left; he noticed his brother struggling to get the hair off him & tapped Geet on the shoulder. Maan felt a slight pang of jealousy when he touched her.
"GEET!" Dev called. Geet continued screaming & giggling.
"GEET!" He called again. Geet turned back.
"MOVE YOUR HAIR!" he shouted over the noise. Geet turned back even further & noticed Maan holding some of her hair in his hand and pulled it away, holding her hair with one hand in front of her.
The ride came to a stop.
"That was so fun!" Pari said to Geet once they got off, adjusting her hair to how it was again. Geet just let her curls bounce around like they usually did.
"It's only fair that we get to choose the next one," said Dev, appearing beside them with Maan.
"Don't choose a water ride," said Geet.
"Pari wouldn't want her hair to get frizzy," she said, rolling her eyes. Pari smiled.
"How about the bumper cars?" Maan suggested. It was the first sentence he'd said to them in the entire day.
"Nice choice, bro. let's go."Geet & Pari hadn't had the experience of driving cars before, unlike Maan & Dev. They got into the seats, unsure of what to do.
"I think we turn the wheel," said Pari.
"I knew that," replied Geet.
"But how do we turn the car & stuff?"Maan & Dev had already settled in and were driving around, pruposely crashing into each other & laughing.
Geet noticed Maan smiling & laughing for the first time - he looked so handsome, youthful, his eyes lighting up as he played around with his younger brother. She snapped herself out of it, shaking the thoughts away.
"Bro, you'll knock my glasses off!" laughed Dev as Maan crashed into him again. He turned back & noticed Geet & Pari sat in their cars, talking amongst themselves.
"Ladies!" he called. The twins looked at him.
"Just start the car & turn the steering wheel!"
"This ride is sexist to Punjabi village girls!" replied Geet.
"We're not happy.""Start the car first, then you'll know what to do," said Dev. The Handa sisters did as he said, & managed to drive around, trying not to crash.
Dev jokingly bumped his car against Pari's, who didn't know how to bump into him back & instead just giggled. Maan & Geet avoided each other's bumper cars altogether.
~Savitri Devi & the Handas were waiting in the car park for the foursome to arrive. They had spent all day in discussion & had reached an agreement.
"So you'll reveal all tonight?" Savitri Devi asked for the final time, just to be sure.
Mohinder nodded.
"Ji, once you've all gone upstairs for the night."
"Very well."Maan, Dev, Geet & Pari appeared then. It was now 5pm & they decided it was best to get home. Geet dragged Pari to the jeep with her, much to Dev's dismay.
Maan reached the jeep and was slightly disappointed to see Pari there too - he had been hoping that it would just be him & Geet. He unlocked the doors, & Pari & Geet climbed into the back.
Dev pulled out first, followed by Maan, and they made their way back to the Handa household.
