1. When did RBO come to mean to you as much as it does today?
Very recent towards the end of last year. But made an impression so deep...😳
2. When did the ShaNak journey begin for you?
ShaNak journey begins for me when I happen to see a VM an ardent fan made as I run to see their beautiful journey made in the form of scenes first and then viewing the whole serial bringing myself up to date... But this journey is irreversible for me. Little did I know that it will be a memory which will be etched in gold and in return get me so many friends along with... which I will never forget...😳
3. What is the one attribute of ShaNak that distinguishes them from the clutter of other 'me-too' television couples?
Don't watch any other soaps. Have no other couples to compare them with. And even if I did have any, I feel that ShaNak is a name that is branded in my heart.. a place it has made of its own that nothing or no one can or will replace...
4. What is the one trait that Shaan has, that KT is probably inspired by? Likewise, what is the one trait that Khanak posseses that is most likely to appeal to Yashu immensely?
Personally I keep YashRan away from ShaNak. So it is difficult for me to relate kT with Shaan and Yashu with Khanak. It is for them to speak and not my place to say. I love the way they each have portrayed ShaNak and love them for it.
5. a) What are KT and Yashu's greatest strength as actors? b) What is the chief highlight of the ShaNak magic for you?
a) They both have the ability to bring to us the characters that live. they have put life into ShaNak making ShaNak seem like real entities.
b) ShaNak's ability to relate with us as if they were real persons. They can with very few and limited emotions or even a single look can make or break us down as an audience. That is the sheer power of ShaNak for me.....
6. As an ardent well-wisher, what in your opinion is:-
a) A facet of the ShaNak equaton that still remains to be explored?in but with a certain realism and finesse.
The "serious ShaNak" facet of their relationship though explored was butchered. Wish they would do so again but with a better finesse and panache..
b) Scope for improvement area(s) for KT and Yashu as actors?
Again not my place to critique. But as a fan, I sure would love to say that each actor in life has a scope for improvement even if they are always excelling and doing better than their best.. So wishing them luck for that improvement.
7. Which is the one ShaNak moment in RBO that will stay with you forever?
Among so many beautiful memories I can say that to date there was only one... but now there are two :
a) One was for a long time now till the other came.. and which was the intense moment together when he confronts her after the fiasco of admitting his love to Natasha thinking that it was Khanak.. during the Golden RBO times... It was foul play on Madz and Boo's part which had Natasha there instead of Khanak and as khanak's heart breaks as well when she sees Natasha.. But her heart knows that she loves Shantanu. But the confrontation was that memorable scene which I can never forget.. all in all a memorable job done by KT/YM..
b) The second one which takes a place parallel to the first is in the recent Holi song. Where he fills her maang... Needless is the scene to say anything. I sigh and see that scene which alone speaks volumes...
8. Where do you wish to see the ShaNak journey heading?
There has been so much debate for this.. Personally I love ShaNak in their cute childish attitudes, but would love to see them grow up as well to become good responsible individuals too. Like grow along with their love which has indeed come a long long way... I hope.. so lets W&W...😉
9. Shaan and Khanak are a bundle of contradictions! Despite the obvious differences, there are several traits that they share in common. Name any two such traits (one similar and the other different) that make them the eternal "sugar and spice" combination.
Aaaahhh.. Sugar n Spice. Hmm... traits...
Similar traits IMO that they both have is "Coerciveness" That leads to this lovely nok jhonk. Love it when each has their point and loves to prove themselves to be right. And it so turns out that either both are right or both are wrong. Love that in them.. They are both very "understanding in nature" Their soft heartedness is a trait that is similar too. They feel with their heart and soul.
Unsimilar traits : Shantanu is very childish. While Khanak is more mature and grounded. And that is the Sugar n Spice of this ShaNakalicious combination. 😛 Very palatable and additcing!!
10. Encapsulate the journey of the past one year, that you have had as a viewer, with RBO and ShaNak . Also put forth the hopes and aspirations that you have for the next one year and many more such milestones to be achieved.........in other words, share the vision that you have for RBO.......
Presently I do not see RBO going steady. I hope it brings itself back on track from its wobbly feet, to prove that their journey made was not futile and worthless. I pray for this journey to take an interesting turn with the probable baby track. It sure is my last hope. I hope Shantanu realises his responsibility towards his family and father too as a son, hoping that he can partake in the family business contributing his part. And that will make him a better person and husband in his wife's eye as well as a good future father himself. As for Khanak, I hope again that she makes better use of herself by paying a little more attention to herself, contributing to her life, learning something and not only being a contribution to her husband's life. Hoping for a brighter more goldier than ever RBO...
