:::Update 40:::Holi:::
Abhay steps outside with Piya waiting for him outside surprising him with a fist full of red powder. She leans in innocently towards Abhay smiling at him as if he were the best man on the planet and rubbed the colour on his face. Abhay held Piya away from him annoyed with her tricks. He hated Holi. He didn't like colour, yet here he was covered in red. If nobody suspected he was a demon before they would know.
Piya grinned at Abhay flicking her long hair with her hands covering some strands of hair with red-"Happy Holi Abhay. I know U hate colour which is why I plastered U with it."
Abhay was mad but hearing Piya's sweet laugh lowered his annoyance-"Piya I look like I came from a horror show!"
Piya giggled at Abhay's exaggeration-"Come on Abhay don't be so dramatic. U look so cute with your face all scrunched up frowning won't make me stop. (Piya teased Abhay by applying some green powder to his face) Now this colour really suits U. (Piya giggles)."
Abhay got even easing his discomfort; he exacts revenge-"Piya now U will pay for messing with the Abhinator."
Piya mocked-"The Abhinator huh? You're not a robot Abhay. U could have come up with something more original than this."
Abhay showed Piya his most serious of expressions-"That does it Piya. You've poked fun at me long enough. Save yourself if U can?"
Piya saw Abhay begin to move so she started running round his estate. Abhay caught up with her in no time. Abhay grabs the whole bag off of Piya and applies red and green colour all over Piya's face and all over her arms. It felt really good to let loose. For once in his life he was having fun forgetting about all his problems for this moment. He loved the sound of Piya's laughter. She had the most infectious laugh he'd ever heard. It made him want to laugh with her.
Piya noticed Abhay had finally let his guard down-"This is the Abhay I've been missing for a few weeks now. I got him back. Abhay life without colour is a life without meaning for me. U are still alive. Don't hide behind the darkness. I love U so much Abhay. All I want to see is U smile."
Abhay held Piya gently around her waist looking into her eyes. He could get lost in them eyes he thought-"I love U more than anything in this world Piya. I don't know if I can go on anymore without U. I suppose the threat of Maya, Danish, the wolves and now Lux has all got to me."
Piya held Abhay around his neck with her arms around him-"It doesn't mean we stop living. There'll always be a threat but we have to find happiness in smallest of moments we have. We have to get a move on we have Uni to get to."
Abhay grabbed Piya in his arms and ran with her to the main gates where they were joined by Lux, Lexie, Misha and Pari.
Misha playfully added-"Looks like someone's started the party without us."
Pari was shocked to see Abhay in such a state-"It's good to see U have fun Abhay."
Lexie wolf whistled-"Does this mean we can all get away with spraying U with water colours?"
Abhay warned Lexie not to even try-"If U love your life U won't do it."
Lexie chuckled teasing Abhay-"I think I have a few more lifelines left."
Misha-"I can imagine how people will react in Uni. They won't recognize U Abhay."
Lux just moped around knowing full well Abhay giving in so easily meant the girls wouldn't spare him-"Can we just get the hell out of here?"
Misha nudged Lux in the ribs-"Don't worry Lux baby. We're not forgetting about U." Misha got out some purple colour out of her denim pockets and gave Lux a good smothering all round his face.
Lux gave Misha his glare-"Misha this is not funny."
Misha disagreed-"I think U look really cute with your lips all curled up in anger. Maybe I should have used a little red to match your mood. (Misha smirked at Lux in satisfaction) It's Holi Lux not someone's funeral. Lighten up already. If Abhay can chill on this day why can't U?"
Lux sulked-"Yeah whatever."
Abhay dropped the girls and Lux off to university all dressed in their whites with light dusting of colour on them. Abhay was amused by some of their peers stunned reactions. It wasn't like they'd never seen him before. Jeez talk about making themselves so obvious. Abhay parked his car in his usual spot. Lexie and Pari were the first out excited about their whole day filled with colour. At home they were banned from using colours to keep their home free from the mess it made. Lux grabbed hold of his sister's bags for them. He took Misha's which weighed nothing. He wondered if she even had anything in there. Piya waited for Abhay to get out.
Most of the students arrived in their whites. They already started with the celebrations bright and early. He saw some Pichkari's. Damn he didn't want to get sprayed with the stuff. They went to join Kabir, Tracker and Angad already gossiping about T's latest fashion craze. The coloured braid in her hair she'd been convincing her posse to try this out. Tracker blew her chewing gum and kept going till she saw Abhay in white. Pop went her gum right in her face. Misha, Kabir and Angad burst out laughing at Tracker. Her gum was covering a section of her nose are and some on her lips. Angad helped Tracker remove some of the gum off her face.
Tracker rubbed her eyes as if she were dreaming-"Angad let me clear it up. Abhay in colour is a first. I've never seen U in so much colour before. I got used to U in Black. Which side of the bed did U wake up from? Are U feeling well Abhay? I'm just surprised by this sudden change."
Abhay gave out a little smile-"I'm fine but I suggest next time U keep your mouth shut or not chew anything at all in case U choke Tracker. You've got gum all over your lips."
Tracker beams happily-"That's your fault. Shocking a girl like this can be injurious U know? U really suit white Abhay. It softens your whole look. I'm thinking Piya's behind this makeover?" Tracker gets some blue powder out of her bag and smears it across Abhay's cheeks. "Happy Holi."
Abhay nodded-"Happy Holi to U too." Abhay grabbed some blue powder and smeared it across Tracker's already pink cheeks.
Tracker gave Piya thumbs up-"You deserve a pat on the back Piya. Have U seen so many of our classmates stare at Abhay? Abhay has definitely made an impact. Anyway Piya you are looking hot in your white dress and white top. You both look like a heavenly couple."
Piya walking along with Tracker-"You look cute in your short white skirt and white top. Is there romance on the horizon between Angad and U?"
Tracker smiles-"I'm not sure. I like him but I'm not sure if it's beyond the friendship level. We are just taking it slow."
Piya gave Tracker a little hug-"I'm happy for you Tracker. I have my fingers crossed for U."
Tracker nods-"Thanks and erm I can see how advanced your relationship with Abhay is getting."
Piya asks Tracker to be quiet on anything to do with Abhay due to his powers of hearing-"Lets not talk about Abhay. I've got loads to do catch U later."
Tracker and Angad head to their own class-"Bye"
Kabir and Lexie hold hands to their history class. Kabir couldn't take his eyes off of Lexie. She looked like a princess in her white jeans and white top. Lexie was just glad to be around Kabir without the stress's of the past few days. It had bugged her how much she'd been neglecting him. He deserved better than her she thought. All she brought with her was baggage. Today would be for Kabir apart from her Lunch break. She'd had major plans for her free time. Practicing her dark arts was now her priority after her brother.
Lexie complimented Kabir-"It suits U Kabir. I'm happy we get to celebrate Holi. We don't get to do this often."
Kabir was thrilled to finally spend some time with Lexie away from her friends and family-"Thanks. U look pretty retro too in your white jeans. So shall we get to class?"
Lexie applied some yellow colour on Kabir's cheeks-"Now we can go."
Kabir begged to differ-"No I need to return the favour Lexie." He chased Lexie around the Uni grounds with orange powder. Finally catching her; smearing the colour around Lexie's face. "Now we're good to go."
Pari tagged along with Angad and Tracker. She was given the task to come up with alternative business PR approach to enhance a companies worth to double up. She knew she had her work cut out. Tracker generally didn't give much input related to their project in hand. While Angad was more into attending to Tracker's every whim. Yeah this wasn't going to be fun. They headed to the library for some idea's. They needed the internet to find new innovative ideas on different methods used to sky rocket a company into the Indian home. Pari was grateful Abhay had taken T on his team to research the market place on pricing and other competitive similar brands out their on their business project for concealers with a pore clearing ingredient added into it.
Pari selected a few options from a business site she was on-"Tracker if U don't mind would U please gather the print outs?"
Tracker left Angad's side-"Sure. Which printer is it at?"
Pari-"It's all in black and white so on the far left hand side."
Tracker-"OK."
Angad spun around on his chair-"Are we going to be here for long Pari I have football practice later on?"
Pari sighed-Angad f U want U can find a suitable leaflet style from publisher Ok? Then U do as U wish. I'm not letting U walk away scott free from completing this group project.
Angad gave a blank expression-"This is free though isn't it?"
Pari remained in her calm composure-"Angad just do as I ask please. I've got it save on this USB stick."
Angad took the USB stick placing it in the hard drive opening the file with the different styles. He chose a random one-"Now what?"
Pari gave Angad her notes-"Start typing Angad. We have so much to get through. Pick out all the relevant information and add it in."
Angad started reading out loud typing in what he thought was right-"There's too much information here."
Pari groaned at Angad's constant moaning-"U really are hard to work with. Get on with it. I'll proof read it later."
During lunch break Lexie set off early excusing herself for some time at the library leaving Kabir with Lux and Misha. Only she'd snuck out of Uni to perform one of her most dangerous of rituals. She wondered off into the woodland searching for the burial ground of dead witches. She'd googled the information with tremendous amount of research spanning through centuries. The wiccan trials were held in the open back in the day. Innocent lives had been lost through persecution. Some burnt to their death were innocent bystanders (normal humans caught in the wrong place at the wrong time) while others were genuine witches some good; some bad; most were just at the cusp of discovering their full potential had died on the grounds' she was in search of. Lexie used her transportation spell to get to her destination. It took most of her energies just to reach from the woods all the way to the dark lands. It was purely a no go zone. No sign of life around. No sound of birds or any sign of plants around. Lexie was certain she'd found the spot she'd been in search of. Lexie placed her backpack down on the floor. She got the book on dark souls with the spell to bring them into their plane from the next world. She had already gathered most of the ingredient's for the ritual. Blood of a pure witch was needed for the call out. She was as pure as they came for now. She needed a black rose, fox gloves, black tiger lilies and an iris also in black. She had them all crushed one by one into a paste.
Lexie started the incantation in a loud clear voice-"I the descendent of Hecate call upon the dead witches of the yesteryears gone to come forth before me. I beseech U to hear my call. From one witch to the other I call out to U. come to me. Show me yourself. The blood of a pureblood calls out to U come to me."
Lexie cuts the palm of her hands with a knife she had in her backpack. She winces at a little pain letting the blood drip in the mixture she'd made-"Hellewise as my Mother I demand U listen to me. My blood calls to U all. I command thee to presnt yourself before me."
A sudden gush of wind swirls around Lexie howling in slight ghoulish manner. Lexie watched the sky above her darken making a thunderous noise. The still air had a vortex look to it. Lexie's hair was flying as the wind blew hard against her face. The mixture in the pot began to rise before Lexie like a helix strand before her. Lexie could feel a see a translucent being so hard to see with the naked eye. The spirit of all those she'd called had began to make their presence felt. She was crowded with them circling her like vultures. Lexie felt the hairs on her back stand as she shivered at their touch. Lexie lifted her protection barrier against the spirits of the dead beings from touching her. Lexie had felt a jolt going straight through her of memories belonging to the spirits. Most were excruciatingly painful to watch. Especially the dying moments were the hardest to endure. Lexie had felt as if she'd been through their ordeal. Lexie braced a giant smile plastered on her face at her accomplishments. She'd managed to raised the spirits all by herself. This place was indeed filled with powers beyond her wildest imagination. The surge she'd felt had rippled through her body. The power alone in this spot was a witch's delight. If she could harness it's magic to its maximum then she'd be unstoppable against those who harm her family. She could fight them all off single handily on her own.
A soul attempts to break through Lexie's barrier-"Why did U call us witch?"
Lexie replied back-"I needed to raise my game. To expand on the powers I already have."
The spirit hovered arund Lexie making it hard for her to pinpoint which spirit was questioning her-"This is a dangerous incantation to awaken all these spirits in one go. U must come from a powerful linage. Stop this Lexie before U are in too deep. Spirits are not to be messed around with. They'll turn on U the very chance they get."
Lexie-"I know what I'm getting myself into. I'll need these spirits to help me fight off one of the undead. Maya."
The spirit swirled around-"She's gathering her own army. Very well but be careful. The dark side will envelope U into it's bosom."
Lexie fought harder to keep control-"Why are U warning me?"
The spirit laughed-"I too tried too much too soon. Paid with my life. Got caught in the act. Beware of the Darklings. They will seek U out now that you've awakened all of us from our plane into this one. U must close this plane before U lose your control."
Lexie trusted in this spirit reluctantly-"Very well. I shall close it now. Will I see U again?"
The spirit-"Depend's. I still have remnants of my abilities and so do the rest of the spirits you've called out. Will have to see who has the biggest desire to reach to the front."
Lexie closed the portal for the spiritual plane with her mind, spilling her blood-"Spirits go back to the banished plane U came from. I command U to go back. NOW!!!!!!!!!!"
All was still as Lexie found her powers drained. She teleported herself into the woods where she'd heard voices. Two men were in deep conversation. One was Sid but who was the other man she found herself veering towards their direction. Sid had already smelt Lexie nearby.
Sid-"Catch U next time. Bye."
Lexie appeared before Sid watching him suspiciously-"Who was the man U were speaking with before?"
Sid replied back-"Just a new friend I've met. What are U doing in this neck of the woods? Shouldn't U be at Uni? Why are U so tired? Did something happen?"
Lexie backtracked-"No I just needed some fresh air. Got wondering off and lost track of time."
Sid didn't but into Lexie's excuses-"Whatever Lexie. I'm wasn't born yesterday. I'll drop U off."
Lexie smiled back-"Thanks. U not celebrating Holi like the rest of us?"
Sid-"Fasten your seatbelt on Lexie. About Holi it's not me but for Misha I'll have to join in for her sake. Its her favourite time of the year."
Lexie-"Good. Pya'll love U to join in. She's up for a laugh."
