Hi Viram, I think there is more here than I know...... and maybe smrth may be in a better position to reply, since it was her post......
But, what was written was not totally wrong.... all these things have been done on PR..... technically atleast.....rape (Ajit/Vandu)....bride burning....physical/mental abuse (Savita/Archana)....
bigamy (Dharmesh/Vaishali)......stalking of married woman (Jaywant/Archana) etc......
These characters have been accepted by the general public/forum......if they have "shown" that they have reformed......Ajit / Savita......
So, isn't that in a way condoning such grave issues???
Again, I am arguing this simply from an academic pov.....there is nothing personal.....and nothing more than a debate..... If you feel that this leads to something else or there is some hidden agenda, then lets leave it at that.....if not, then move away from the paralysis and get into the momentum of seeing things in a wider perspective.....
