so the evidence that would have convicted him is now a sad and precious memory...she refused to put the unborn child in danger so she was willing to wait to get justice...but the opportunity never came...what is she supposed to do now?...as even legalities come in the way of justice...the fact that she forgave the man who wronged her does not mean that at some point in time justice won't catch up with him...and that she has to be a part of the deffense....only that this time she will be free of any burden that might have weighed her down in the past...

That became a long forgotten purpose. If they wanted to send Dev to jail, when her family(Darji) attended wedding, they could provide few proofs also. Forget it

Once you forgive, u do it wholeheartedly, no point of justice now as she has forgiven dev.

I agree with you Sylvia. I feel Dev's redemption track was only show as a means of creating this distance b/w Maaneet ... and once they unite and feign indifference towards Dev at all times .. he might just take another route .. his track hasn't ended here..
Circumstances compelled her to say she forgave him .. but she hasn't forgotten for sure...
Right now Maan is important for her .. more than anything related to Dev. The one symbol that tied her to her past is now gone ..
but the path of justice still lies..
And I hope it becomes easier to get that justice once Dev tries something devious again .. and this time Maaneet would fight the evil together instead of alone!

Hey Z ! i haven't watched the episode yet...but this thougt just came to my mind...the baby dying and geet's "forgivness" makes sense...just that not in the obvious way...i do believe that dev's character is open ended and that he changes with the season...

there is a song in spanish with where a part of the lyrics translate to "forgiving is to remember with out pain"...geets forgiveness was just that...it was or her own good...it was about freeing herself of dev's pressence at that point in time...i'm sure thisis not the end of the track though....
