Anyways,we still got ......

This word "anyways" is being popularized by our Indian TV artistes, and those who learn the language from them. I never heard it in my life before. It was 'always' and 'anyway'. Still there are many occasions, the word 'anyway' has been used. Wonder if it is scripted, or off the cuff expression of actors. But later on with Google search, I found that it has made its way in Canadian slang English, and sometimes in American English. Could it be due to heavy immigration? Poor British, they came to India, taught us the language, and now it is getting mutated, and I suppose one has to accept this in case of a 'living' language

The SMS language is also contributing to the corruption of a classical language. Our Hindi, has become Hinglish, and wonder what more changes are going to take place in future.
Certain political parties are particular in using 'Shudd Hindi' with Sanskritized words, and others are bent upon using a mix of different Indian languages. In cosmopolitan cities like Mumbai, one has to expect this..

This is just my personal opinion. You are free to use the language as you please.

^^Thanks for that,hun!......I'm used to using such language,and I kinda neva thought that "anyways" was no word.We're kinda used to using such language on the Net basically,on networking sites;so,mayb that shows in the daily routine....lol...Thanks again.

English language has been evolving since Roman times, and there is no reason it should stop now. Perhaps older people have been used to using it formally, and take time in adjusting to changing times. But this give and take, makes life worth living ortherwise there would be more conflicts and wars, even for the purity of language as happens in France.
