I am not denying that.... Hindi is a beautiful language.... No doubs abt that....
I am talking abt the language in the movies and they are a reflection of the times we are in... Look at the youth in India.... Mix of hindi and english is what they associate with....and most of these movies they are the target audience....

I think the youth need to appreciate their language more! I am even born in the United States and I enjoy the pure language more! Because English is something I have been used to all my life! I find Hindi different and exciting since I don't speak it that often! 😃

No.

You know why because they think using English is going to make them make wicked films you know try and be westernised but according to me some films haven't worked for me. They haven't got a mind of their own. 60's to early 2000's were the best times but now I don't like it. We will never see it happen again I can see it getting worse and worse.😒

And the other thing is that these so called "Remakes" Trend what is that all about? All of them aren't good enough, now I am hearing Satte Pe Satta is becoming a remake as well, Umrao Jaan wasn't good even though Aish looked so beautiful, Don for me was ok but it lacked the greatness from AB and Sholay (RGV ki Aag) his version was terrible I do not know what he was thinking? More like Dupane ki aag jab film dupti hain to aankhen khul jaati hain but Parineeta and Devdas has worked even though I still think classic films such as Don or Umrao Jaan shouldn't be touched.

I heard few years ago apparently Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam was apparently being remade but haven't heard anything but if it did they would completely make a nonsense out of it.

to answer ur question i have to say with much sadness that nooo :( that era won't return! 😭

indian cinema shud realize that if we wanna watch movies with english in it we will watch hollywood movies. i watch bollywood movies for the culture, language, etcc... it's disappointing to see them soo westernized. it looks like they are trying too hard.....

i'd rather watch a hindi film with eng. subtitles rather than watching a hindi film with a lot of eng. dialogues in it
i miss the 90's films most & all the good indian film songs

agreed! most of the hindi movies i watch, i read the english subtitles. but that doesnt mean i want to watch hindi movies with english dialouges. its so boring and monotone! they can't act with english dialogues. sorry but that accent gets annoing (in movies)
