Devika-- you described beautifuly what was the feeling of Radhika towards DEv .... Through Sushma Dev came to know now more about Radhika and why she had kept silent most of the time ... waiting eagerly for the next .....

glad to know that you all liked Radhika's past. and thank you so much for traveling with me, in my mad world, i am trying to get you out from there, may be by next week for sure, in next three episodes, we will eb abck onto present situaion, i don't know, it comes as the day progress, hope ou will accept the next filler episodes.ha ha, i keep on giving you filler epsiodes only, right. I am sorry.

but one thing I want you to know, i got a review, and please read the highlighted part if your time permits... and tell you getting something like this once in a while is a true blessing...

.. dear i love reading them and frankly speaking i am amazed how can someone have so wonderful imagination which seems real than reality .. i like the way you are bring different feelings of a couple who love each other madly but fail to understand other person's feeling properly ... not Dev is wrong at his place and not Radhika is wrong just their situations make them wrong ... dev is working so hard in some other country leaving a luxurious life in india , not just for himself but for his love radhika who can have a secure future , have all happiness of life but in race to earn all this he leave her behind somewhere ... he always want her to be his support and i am sure she is , but he failed to get what is going in her inner mind ...for which he is regretting now .. he realize what he have lost and hopefully soon find its reason also ... he will surely get his love back in his life with his endless efforts because she is his life how can he live without her ...on other hand she is a girl who grown up in protective manner , for her marriage with dev is dream .. in new country she tries her best to adjust .. but somewhere she fails to get what her husband want from her ...so she start think about sita/ urmila ...she start seeing towards other relations for moral support which is very natural but others take it as silliness or dreams of her ,, which hurts her more ..so she run from her problems and hide herself without thinking how other bear this .... dear both are same want lover's support without caring about his/her feelings ... if dev make a mistake of not inquiring about her in 3 months , than she also made a mistake for not caring about his family , it is her duty to be with them not because she is their bahu , but they trust and love her more than their son, her nature to keep things inn make situations more worse ... their careless nature is now causing problems to their families ... i don't know how you react over this but trust me i write very honestly ... now i am waiting how you unite all these loose threads ... don't worry your mad world is very beautiful like your thinking .... Part 84

Dev stood there, looking at that sketch of him, which she drew even before seeing him, her first image came in front of him, her eyes which tried to convey something under that dripping water drops.

He heard passively Sushma's voice continuing: I never thought my words get this deeper in her mind, that she was visualizing everything in her. I also didn't do it intentionally, Dev's name also came into our talk accidently as I was just picking on granny's image of bhayya's childhood........

Sushma: Radhika , why your hair look so meesy, that si not you, my princess.

Radhika: It was easy when it was short,a nd now when mom hold me to comb it, it is so painful.

Sushma: but I think all the princess have nice long hair.

Radhika in a lazy tone: but that all striaht and silky, look at mine wavy and thick

Sushma: no but and all. you should listen to mom and keep it nicely like before. My princess should look beutiful with her long hair....

Radhika: sweety, please

Sushma holding her chin: you said your prince eyes should sparkle , right?

Radhika smilingly: ha

Sushma: then Dev also want to see his Radhika special, only Radhika become real princess in his eyes if she meet his expectation. The prince also may be dreaming to have his princess with long beautiful hair. But her silence prompted me to call her name : Radhika

She looked at me and asked : is that his name?

Sushma: whose name?

Radhika: my prince name.

Sushma chuckled: what?

Radhika: Dev, where is he? Have you met him, is his eyes are sparkly?

Sushma: Radhika, stop it now, you will drive me crazy too, come let's get this to granny, she is asking for long time.

Radhika looked at me silently, but her questions went on, we talked about your features, teased each other, we draw joker faces, but her mind was drawing a clear picture of you without my knowledge, and she copied that in this canvas to show me....

I never thought I was giving a clear vision to Radhika's dreams, her thoughts.... where she was trying to draw a picture of him.

Suchi standing next to him was looking at that picture, silently. She looked at her son's face, his look on that picture, and then slowly touched his upper arm to bring him back to reality with a soft call "dev'

He jerked and looked at his mom's face, she saw his tear filled eyelid.

But then they heard the voice from the front . Sushma and Suchi looking at each other went to the front door. Dev stood there holding onto that pencil sketch of him, and then slowly walked towards the window , where Sushma stood , he looked outside to see the greenery where sushma looked, and he tried to see all that Sushma just told, he tried to see that little Radhika and he tried to see her curious eyes asking Sushma about her prince and how slowly he became hers. He could easily hear the anklets sounds as she was running around chandenpur. And he could easily see his Radhika taking those speedy circles, wearing that most beautiful costume and he could easily hear the giggle sfrom those ghunghuru which was hugging her lower leg..

Suchi seeing the driver at the front door: Oh I am sorry.

Driver: that's ok madam, are we starting now?.....or...

Suchi looking back at Sushma: Sushma, actually he didn't had anything, had some coffee that's all, even Dev also didn't eat or drink anything till now.

Sushma: why you didn't tell me early. Just five minutes. Saying that she went to kitchen.

Suchi: come inside.

Driver: no madam , I am fine, I will be around here. Saying that he went out

Suchi coming back saw all those letters on the floor , she looked back to make sure the driver left. She sat down and picked one letter in her hand and slowly opening it she read thru Radhika's words, she saw a new face of Radhika thru those words. Folding it back, she imagined the face of Radhika she met, thru their outing and her lips mumbled " where are you now? How can you hide from all these dreams? Can you live without your Prince? Or are you seeing all of us near you, thru those phone calls and thru these letters? Where are you Radhika?"

"suchi, call him, it is ready" Sushma's voice brought her back to reality. Sushma noted those letters on the floor.

She went and sat near suchi, and said: I am sorry, its all because of me? As she started picking on those letters.

Suchi : no Sushma , there is nothing wrong in it. We all do it. How many times I told Lechu, that to bring the color of her skin, she needs to drink milk. And she still drink milk, but now I don't need to say such silly things. As a doctor by profession, I was doing it, so you didn't do anything wrong, also, now I know how much you all missed us, you tried to see all of us in your talk, you tried to fill that gap thru your talk, whereas we never thought of that feeling. We were reasoning ourself by hiding in our own busy life, not thinking about granny's mind, or babuji's mind. So your deeds are reasonable, maybe these all wouldn't have happened, if we kept our contact. Then there is no place for dreams, or expectations. Dreams and expectations comes to fill the gap that exist between the want and desire, or a hope in one's life. So you are not at fault, or maybe we all are at fault. But then in a determined tone she said; but we need to find out Radhika, there is not much time left, before everyone comes to know about it , we need to find her out.

Sushma picking all those letters in her hand: Suchi, you call the driver, let me check on dev

Suchi: um ...and went to call him

Sushma went back to her room, and put those letters on the bed. She saw Dev still standing there, looking outside , holding that picture.

Sushma went near and touched his upper arm. Dev looked at her with his dried eyes.

Sushma: did I give you pain? I am sorry dear, I didn't mean to, but don't ever think that Rahdika didn't love you, it was you in her mind all the time, her heart was beating for you all the time. It was fine when she lived in that dream world, but when she saw you in front of her, she started believing all those dreams, and she let you go, until she saw that sparkling in your eyes, and then it was hard for her to keep that distance, and you showered her with your love in that small period and it was really hard for her to take that separation the second time, she didn't speak to you because her talks may pain you which she didn't want to, she kept that distance because she wanted to hide her weeping eyes. She hide herself in that fake smiles and angriness. She never wanted to be a reason for unhappiness in your life. She always wanted to hold you close to her, but she gave up painfully when it came to your dreams and your words.

Dev : buva, I understood my Radhika now, You don't need to say it anymore. Many times as I asked her when she fall in love with me, each time she gave me vague answers, maybe she doesn't know when she is , because I was in her thoughts all the time, she never acted as a strange person to me, she talked to me as if she knew me well, she never showed me that uneasiness when we first met, she was totally into playing around with me, I didn't notice her eyes cornering me, but I have seen her eyes when we first met, and I have seen her eyes and heard her voice when I saved her from that water. And she easily escaped from answering both times, when i tried to clarify it thru her words. He smiled thinking of her actions and thne continued: so Is she was testing me buva? All this time!, then why she left me without saying anything, did I fail to convince her of my love for her? Or did she fail to understand me? Whatever, but we failed to convince that to each other , right? A tear drop rolled thru his smile.

Sushma: no beta, she is there some where, near by only, she is not completely vanished? Otherwise she won't be writing those letters to me, or call and talk to Suhci or Rohini, so she is there somewhere near. Let me go and check the breakfast thing, ok. You also come after refreshing, suchi went to call the driver.

Dev: ji he watched her walking away.

Placing that picture on the bed, he went to wash his face, wiping his face down, he looked at the mirror. He tried to read his own reflection, and looking deep into those eyes inside the mirror he thought 'how long you will hide from me Radhika, you did easily all these years, and till now you were successful in that, but now I am coming , I am coming to find you out and then I will see your eyes, and I will listen to your words, for which I won't be needing anymore explanations, I am coming". He was able to hear the speedy feable drum beats from long distance, which just reflected the excitement of his words. He took the towel and dried his face. Came back to the room, to take that sketch, suddenly his eyes fell on those letters. He thought for a moment.

But then Suchi came to call him for breakfast. Dev came out quickly , and went and sat for his meal. Suchi looked at his action surprisingly. The sudden change, he is not crying anymore, his face is not looking heavy. He saw Sushma serving his plate and he started eating, he is eating but his mind was seeing something else, his thoughts are flying around somewhere else.

He finished quick and the driver left by then.

Sushma: so what we will do now?

Dev: I need your help...

Sushma: my help!

Dev: I need her recent letters, if possible.

Sushma: ha beta, why you need to ask, if that helps you to reach her, then sure, come

Suchi also accompanied them: Sushma shuffled through the envelops and it was easy for her to spot the recent ones. And she handed that to him.

Taking that in his hand: Thanks Buva and looking at Suchi: mom, do you need to return now? Or can I take this taxi

Suchi: why? What is in your mind?

Dev coming near with a hopeful face: mom, if you need to get back, you can go back in this taxi, I will catch another one from the town. Or you can stay back here, until I call and then

Interupting him Suchi: what are you going to do? what ever it is , we will go together.

Dev: don't worry about it Mom, now it is my responsibility to find Radhika out, I will bring her back, and I want you to trust me with this, the trust that you had on me earlier, I know I broke it, but I want to regain that trust, without my mom's blessings, love and trust, I won't be able to do anything, I need to see that smiley face, before I step out because that always gives me the hope that I will win, so I only need that, rest will come to me with my effort.

Suchi looked at Sushma and Sushma tried to give a teary confident smile on his words.

Suchi half mindedly: will you be able to do it yourself

Dev: see mom, I want to clear this doubt from your mind. Please give me one chance, I will bring your DIL back in this next 5 days, before anyone comes back home, or else, I tell you, your Dev will not return if he fail in his mission.

Suchi: what are you saying Dev?

Dev: I told you mom, you need to trust me, one last time, please and give me permission.

Sushma coming near, held Dev's chin, and said with a smile: ha, you will win, because you are the prince, and I can still see that sparkling in your eyes, because you are confident , and I can see the mind of a warrior.

Dev smiled confidently and Suchi saw that reflection. Coming near she just hugged him with her weaker body, and resting her head on his chest she mumbled : ha Sushma is right, your voice reflect confidence, and my son never failed and I won't let him fail, ha Beta, go and come back quick with our Radhika, I will wait for you, at our home. It is not the question of trust beta, it is the question of how I will survive these five days. If I am with you, then I know, but without being near you, how I will survive beta.

Dev moving his body back, told his mom, looking into her eyes: you need to, just the same way you waited for us these two long years, just get back into your routines mom, I will be back on time with Radhika.

Suchi: um, I will try. I will wait for that knock at the door, she continued with her hopeful eyes...and when I open the door I will see you both. Heina?

Dev's throat moved: um, holding his mom, more closer affirming her words...

suddenly Suchi: then why are you waiting?, go now itself.

Sushma smiled hearing Suchi's words. Suddenly Suchi " but Dev you need money, right?

Dev with a thought: ha mom, vo, I don't have much in my purse.

Suchi went and checked her bag and took out few notes and handling that to him: will it be enough.?

Dev: I will manage mom, I have the card with me.

But then Sushma came back with another big bundle : here take this.

Suchi: but how you will carry this

Sushma: one minute

She went and checked the room and found a backpack, and dusting it off, she came : will this be ok?

Dev with a smile: anything buva....

Sushma: one minute. She went quick to the upstairs room and came , gave him few tees and pants that he left with his earlier visits.

Sushma: ok, now don't waste time, my prayers are with you dear.

Dev taking buva's blessing , went out with Suchi, and rolling that tinted glass up , the driver ignited the engine. They kept their silence of hope inside the car, but her hands were holding onto his, to give him more confidence, to convey her trust. They stopped at the next town area .

Suchi looking at the driver: just five minutes..

driver nodded his head

Dev and Suchi got out and Dev was able to find a taxi driver, a person in his late 50's, with gray hair on his chin and his head.

Suchi stood patiently.

The driver: where you want to go?

Dev: I don't know

The man looked at him with a tease smile

Dev: I mean, will tell you once we start our journey

Driver with a curious smile: and why should I take you to your unknown destination.

Dev: because it will be interesting

Driver again smiled showing his pan stained teeth: why me?

Dev: Because you are the person

Driver: you sound strange...

Dev: I am a stranger with a smile on his lips.

Driver: interesting, do you have enough money to pay the bill?

Dev: Yes I do

Driver: then what is my problem. How long it may take?

Dev: I don't know.

Driver looked at him curiously ....

Dev: I mean, maybe days, or by this evening, or it can end in tomorrow or on the 5^th day. I don't know. but not more thna that.

Driver laughed out: and will you take my expense

Dev: yes I will, and I can.

Driver: ok then, get in.

Dev smiled and bend down to touch Suchi's feet on that crowded narrow street, there was nothing more to speak between them, nothing more to say, dev hugged his mom one more time and bringing her back itno the taxi, saying thanks to the taxi driver , he watched them leaving.

He came back to his taxi, and got in to the back seat.

Driver with a smile: so now, tell me which direction.

Dev, with a smile : straight.

He looked at him through the mirror. And with a smile he ignited the engine.

Dev: I need to check on something, Till then you can go straight.

Driver with a smile: then on that way is my house, can I stop over once to tell them.

Dev: sure. No problem, I am not in a hurry till I find out where to turn the mode.

Driver: you take your time, while I drive you straight for now.

Dev opening the bag, took the letters out. Driver just watched his action through the rear view mirror and then looked straight.

Suddenly dev: is there is any post office nearby

Driver: ha

Dev: can you please stop over there for few minutes.

Driver: ha

Within minutes the car stopped near the post office. He went in. The driver looked at this strange person , still with that curious smile on his face, showing his pan stained teeth.

So friends, thank you for your patience to travel with me till this end, where we were able to see Sushma and Radhika's relation and their past. Hopefully my imagination was able to convince you till today. So now we are going to travel with Dev to find out his Radhika, whom he knows now very well. And he asked for 5 days time from his mom and he got the blessings of two sweet ladies. he may see her today itself or tomorrow????

With this journey he is not alone, now he got a company, a driver, who is a stranger, they may talk, he may let the driver go by evening, or by tomorrow or may be with him for next five days. I have no clue where they are heading to, but now they are together, But now my Dev is not weepy or confused, his mind is determined and he has the confidence, and he is smileing with a hope, so that is good sign.

Hope you will continue your journey. Next update will be on Monday (will send you PM), because the days are still so cold here, the snow is not melting, it is still thick and solid, but the day is bright and it is sparkling outside, giving the hope of upcoming spring, and we are eagerly waiting for that moment, for the new ones to sprout from these froze ground.

yes chalhov.. and it is that innerspace of Radhika (girl/woman) where she try to hide herself, and the outspoken world of Dev (men) that becomes unexpected villains of their life. If the couple is able to overcome that , then they will be able to maintain the equalibrium of life of inequalitites.

Oh NiHa... the prince thing, finally I was able to find an end to that mystery... big sigh

trying to connect each loop holes here now... by the end I will surely get admitted to a MH...😆😆😆.. i think it will be a good idea for me to just find out one now and do a walking rounds, and write my will to be in which place, before i go into that state....😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

poor my hubby, he will end up with three fairies flying around with their magic stick and drive him nuts.... OMG! I can't imagine that....
