Its a nice feeling , right. Even I am also learing to slow down now. atleast a break on weekends.. 😆 and today was enjoying the first Radev meeting, awasome , loved it so much.. there was innocence, there was shyness, there was words, there was beauty, and there was nature... superb, simple but very creative... very cute.. so no clue, whether you will be able to come back to this. Before proceeding with reading, i want you to know that my Radhika is not in picture, so i can unfold the mystery thru others eyes and their thoughts, so thru their thought i want you to know how things changed, or happened. So it may start from the beginning, trying to say her state of mind, and then how gradullay it got changed. Nothing happened in a day, so hopefully you will be able to get thru me, I need this driver too, first i thought he is just a driver, but he is coming up, and they introduced themselves as strangers, so their strange talk will come, he is just a driver, so his mannerisms will be like a driver, but he is aged too, so his talk will be like that way. Part 85

Resting her head back, Suchi closed her eyes rethinking Radhika's letter that she just read. That happened to be the first letter that she send to Sushma from U.S . Suchi tried to recollect Radhika's words, the new Radhika she just came to know.

Dear Sweety...muwaaaaa..

How are you? It s been a week here, and now only i got time to write to you. You know me well , right? Yes I was trying to see her, very close.You know that I was curious to see her, to know her. First time when i saw her she was glittering under the artificial lights. She was smiling nicely, and I saw his dreamy eyes beaming when he showed her to me. He is liking her very much. Her hair is short & looks blonde in color and it is soft and silky whereas mine is wavy, long and thick. She changes color and texture of it whenever she likes, but I keep it same all the time.

Her arms are long and slender, and she paints her nail so neatly, things goes very fast through her, and there is hardly any block. She loves fast movement and people made it easy for her to move forward. Whereas me, stopped over many times to look around, to get my path clear, to say one hai to the smile that aimed at me. She has narrow vision and she sees only her, and she is giving opportunity for him to move on smoothly, clearing his way easily, whereas it is always a question mark that blocks the opportunity for me, and I get confused easily. ......

............No wonder he is liking her more, as she is always trying to give him something new everyday. She is keeping herself neat and tidy whereas I may have to pass thru the dust most of the time......

.....but she happily crush the soft petals saying it as a weed, whereas I was enjoying those wild flowers of my angan and smiled with them. She replaces the nice big pots with new ones and new colors and grooming it with a professional touch and call it as landscaping and people stop by to see admire its beauty, whereas mine was scattered all over as it wished to grow and people passed by wihtout acknowleging the natural beauty of it....

Radhika, It took me a minute to realize the she reference was U.S. what was in your mind, you tried to love that place, but then what happened? Why did you run away like this? Is that your papa said, why he prefer you over any other girl for his son. You should have told me what is haunting your mind, when it comes closer to your heart, why you kept away from me? Why you didn't feel that freedom, with me. I thought I am so closer to you, but I think I am just a mother-in-law. But you didn't say it to Rohini either, You took the decision, all by yourself? Why?

Sushma was keeping the letters back in place. Randomly she grabbed one, and opened it to read her mind, with a smile her eyes moved on those words..

Dear Sweety, ... muwaaaaa......

He had last Friday off memorial day , they call it 'long weekend' and Ramesh and him planned for outing. I met Sarah during this trip. She is lucky, all her family is here. She is smart and it was hard for me to communicate with her, i was understanding her well, but she was not getting me easily, but she knew few hindi words, that she learned from ramesh, she love bollywwod movies, our dance, adn so many things about us.

Sushma taking a deep sigh, folded the letter thinking "why should i come, I can see the wonder thru your words dear... I jsut want to see you, nothing else can bring the joy to my heart... come back with Dev , i only need that, without you, there is no beauty in all these wonders dear"... she went and kept everything back in order.

Driver with a smile; as you said it may take a day or two or five, I also need to be prepared , right ?. Saying that he went and put that in the dickey. But then one lady came running behind with a bottle of water and handed that to him... and said something softly and left in same speed

Dev smiled thru listening to his comment.

Driver: ok then, let's start

Dev: ha

Driver: my son too then proudly : he is in abroad, in Dubai, have you heard of Dubai?

Dev smiled and nodded his head

Driver proudly: um, he is un Dubai, you see that girl, who brought the water , is his wife. He has two kids too.

Dev smiled listening to him

Driver: are you getting bored, listening to me...

Driver: ha, but my son...., he is very busy there, making so much money, he told many times to me , to take rest, but what to do, I got used to this from my adulthood, and sometimes he get angry too, I tell him, now I am healthy enough to feed for myself and my family, when I become disable you take care of all us. Saying that he laughed loud. Then went into silence but repeated one more time : but he is very busy there and ha, he is in a highly reputed position too.

after few minutes,

Driver: what do you do?

Dev: I work with computers

Driver proudly: my son also knows computer.

Dev smiled

Driver: he makes lot of money, you too maybe, right?

Dev smiled again

Driver: your parents maybe proud too. are you sending money to them?

Dev thought to self, they were proud, even I was proud, am I not ? I was so happy when we successfully launched our project, and I got the recognition I wished for, everyone congratulated me, I was so eager to share it with Radhika, thought to lift her up in the air with joy, and circle her around, but where is she? Why she decided to go to this place? And who is there for her?....... How it all started Rahdika? When did it started? I don't know.

Dev's mind flew back into that glassy building , to the seventh floor, to his cubicle. He was totally into building work of new project. Santi came in with the news

"Dev did you hear the news of the day?"

Dev jerked and turned his revolving chair to face santi : what is it?

Santi: our project lead , resigned as he got a better position in another company..

Santi with a smile: ye, I think our profession is back in demand, with a giggle she left to next cubicle..

He overheard santi saying "ya, he is moving out to east coast area, his family is there, so he has his own reasons, it seems like he was trying for this long time and now only he got the opportunity what he wished for."

Dev went back home with thinking how irresponsible people can become, when it comes to personal.

The tension at work place slowly started escalating as the person in direct contact for any question happened to be the manager on site. They tried to look for a quick replacement by hiring someone but failed, but then checking back the progress and work done by the next level , Dev has been selected as the new project lead. It was almost a shock for him to listen to the news and soon he accepted that post because he loved doing the project so far and many times he wished to proceed with his instincts but got blocked related to prior approvals from the lead, now he get that freedome, he felt so happy and that day was one of the happiest day in his work life and he and Radhika planned to drive out that weekend, that got cancelled due to pressure to finish pending work before the presentation and satisfied with a dinner at Olive gardens.

"let's stop here for a coffee break?'

The driver's request, awake him from his thought.

Dev: ha wiping of his face down, and stretching out little bit.

He looked at his watch and then asked : How long it may take to reach there?

Driver: by tomorrow morning

Dev: um, and took deep sigh

Meanwhile at Chandenpur

Mohan and Birju was coming in. Rohini was was about to ask something

Mohan: Rohini, did anyone called?

Rohini: nahi tho, but then remembering :ha, Radhika

Mohan: Radhika betiya phone kiya!. What she said? When is she coming?

Rohini: she didn't say anything about coming? In a disappointed tone

Mohan: you know something, today when we were about to start back, after the meeting this Birju was telling he saw Dev in town

Mohan: ha, near the post office, the meeting was near to that place only, and he said he saw flash of Dev getting into a car and passing by. I laughed to my death. Dev is in U.S and how can he seeDev here, that also in our town.

Listening to that Birju walked in with a childish face: I can recognize him easily, babuji or dadaji didn't trust me, I am sure, he was exactly looking like Dev only.

Birju: that because I saw him, right before he was getting into the car, and by the time I recognized, the car already disappeared from that place, then what will I do?

Mohan: why you took that long to recognize him then...

Mohan: see, now you only deal with him,

Rohini: actually Suchi came today morning, she came to meet Sushma and left quick too,

Birju: see I told you

Mohan: Birju, that is Suchi, not Dev , thum bhi na

Birju: i am telling the truth, I saw Dev.

Mohan: um.... um, ... now come, llet's go and check on the filed, come

Birju came running towards Rohini and said: I really saw him, it was Dev bhayya

Birju: so you are also not believeing me na, next time when Dev comes, I only will ask him

Rohini: Birju, that is a good idea.

Birju affirming himself: um, I will , then you all will trust me na.

Mohan: BIRJUuuuuuuuuuuu'.

Birju jerking; ha, coming and ran towards outside.

Rohini just watched them going, but then suddenly Birju came with a bottle in his hand: maaji, Daadi keliye. This is the one you asked for , right.

Giving that to Rohini he went to jeep and they drove away.

Rohini was telling about Birju's talk to daadi and then taking the oil from chameli's hand she started applying it on daadi's leg.

Daadi: next time when she calls, tell her, I want to see her. I don't think I can live any longer without seeing her.

Rohini: she will come maaji, with Dev. We all know he is too busy and Radhika only told us, how important his work is and... interupting her

Daadi: I know.... I know, but is he the only one, this been two years now, everyone gets leave and all , right?. This is like, he is the only one who does all the work for his company and only he is existed for them.. I am glad at least Radhika doesn't have any job to take care, otherwise she will also start saying some excuses, and stop calling too. Now at least we can listen to her sound. Then with a sorrowful voice: sometimes I feel like, why did we let her go, and then looking at Rohini, we only made the mistake, we should have told Dev first itself , that every year he suppose to visit us... dadi's talk continued...

Rohini didn't say anything, just listened to Daadi's talks, her mind was flying back to few months.....

Rohini: Radhika, maaji fell from the steps and she is in hospital

Radhika: KYA!!!

Rohini: ha betiya, her feet got slipped and she fell down from the steps, and they are doing the x-ray and all, Birju and your babuji carried her to the hospital.

Radhika's tearful voice reached her ears: can I talk to daadi

Rohini: no beta, she is inside, they are doing tests, I will get back to you, ok.

After that she called every one hour to ask about daadima, and saying I am coming right now. Then only I realized my mistake, and I got nice scolding from her babuji too, for scaring her. at that time, i never thought how Radhika will take it and she is all alone. I was fool to just tell her right away. She cried when she heard about Daadi's hip surgery . she was unable to sit comforatably back there. Her babuji also scloded her saying we all here with Daadi. Surender bhayya and Suchi also talked to her, comforting her that everyone is near daadi.

But then slowly slowly Radhika's tone started changing, she wished to come here at any cost, she wanted to come alone, how many times I tried to tell her that here everything is fine but she was not taking it completely, she was crying loud, and then with so much scolding that got stopped, towards late she started talking less and she just hear what I say from here. I tried hard to make her understand that she needs to be with dev, and how can she come all alone leaving him alone like that,. Especially when he is so busy in his work. She should first think about him, then only us.

"rahdika wil come soon na"

Daadi's hopeful question brought Rohini back itno reality

Rohini: um maaji, now you take rest, let me check in the kitchen

Daadi: um, I hope when she comes, I will be able to walk and run around with her in whole chandenpur.

Rohini walking away: you will maaji, now you take rest, ok.

Daadi opened the Ramayan and started reading it.

********************************* Now Dev and the driver knows where they are heading to, and that will open to us only when they reach there, till then let's see what these charactors have to say about Radhika.. OK. let see whether they can give as a good reasoning before Dev reach his destination.. and the time is just one night away, so what will happen in this one night, it has more than 12 hours of time, so by then I need to reveal it, and i hope i can ... thanks for your precious time to read it. Again, Radhika's mind and what all was going in her mind is still a mystery, this is what Dev , Rohini, or daadi thinking, so don't draw any conclusion from it. it needs to be revealed soon... so

Like the way the story is moving!

Devika with every update, I get restless.. I simply cannot wait for the updates, though I know u would do it the next day bt dat 24 hrs also becomes unbearable, I keep checking the forum for ur updates the moment, the moon comes up...

good story but u know what,u move very slowly,u write past moments more than further.although imagination ,thoughts of urs are superb.its a g fairy tail.keep writing
