Quiet possible. If MR insistant on leaving then they have to bring someone else to continue. I don't think in the industry anyone will agree to take Dutta's role. Because this role have already marked its presence in viewers. For viewers it will be difficult to see someone else doing it. But we ll know it only by end of march, whether Shankar will be new don in Nakush's life. Or Dutta's role given to someone else. It might also happen that this shankar will have something to do with Nakusha's sister. Don't know whether new face will be as prominant as MR.

I think thsi would be the mentor for dutta a patriarchial figuer who helped Dutta in the beginning of his career..and who now looks at Dutta as his heir or son or something..

I think he can be the Badi-hasti...he might have thought that if dutta marries then he will want to leave the dhanda..hereby causing him losses hence...he might have tried to help supriya run away..but all his plans foiled up when Dutta married Nakku..but then it was in hate and dutta was busy battling anna...so he must have felt that dutta won't leave the dhanda now..

but now that Dutta is missing and all he might want to step in to take care of things..but Dutta will come back and defeat kala and than Shankar mama will come to find all have been fixed..

Dutta will then probably want to leave the dhanda to live respectable life with naku and family and then the tug of war between Shankar Mama and Dutta will start..
