Yea I was also wondering about some things in ur last update although, I was like maybe it's just my assumption - maybe i am thinking to much. Hahaa! Thank u for clarifying.

So few my friends are thinking my Radhika is pregnent.... what I wish you to see Dev's reaction with her talk and his imagination and his reaction.. so don't give space for any confusion at this time, just relax and fly back to their past moment Ok, where my Dev and Radhika were together, and was enjoying their time together. a light episode, connecting the present to a past moment. Hope you will like it. Also green color is past, and black for present... will try to give some information , what to look for before or after each update (will give clues, which I don't like, because i want to keep it as hidden and want you to realize it later, but it won't work that way😆, by then everybody will exit through the emergecy door ) , so that way, I may be able to take away some confusion. continuing from Suchi's convo after talking to Rohini...

Part 77

With a smile on her face, Suchi dialed U.S. number and soon she heard the sound of Radhika.

"hello"

Suchi: beta, mei hum, just felt like calling you now, so, how is everything going on there?.

Radhika's voice: fine mom, I talked to you yesterday, right? Is everything oK there?

Suchi: ha sab theek hei

.

Radhika: I chatted with Lechu yesterday.

Suchi: um, she told me today morning.

.

Radhika: mom, Dev is forcing me to learn driving, you only tell him, I will learn it later

.

Suchi: is he there?

Radhika: he left to work.

.

Suchi: ok, then.....

Radhika: ji mom.

.

Suchi with a pause: Radhika, do you want to ask me something?

She imagined her shyness in that delay

Suchi: tell me Radhika, are you feeling ok?.

As if realized the tone of questioning: mom, vo...

.

Suchi: kya hei beta?.

Radhika: vo, didn't Rohini mom tell you?

.

Suchi: so you knew what I am asking, tell me what is it?

Radhika: mom, then with a chuckled throat she said: mom, I didn't get my periods this time.

Suchi: how late it is

Radhika: almost a week now.

Suchi: .a week!

.

Radhika: ha mom, I totally forgot and then two days ago only I realized and I don't know what to do?

Suchi with a smile: Ok beta, don't worry. But how are you feeling? I mean are you feeling any tired or anything different?

Radhika: no mom, I am feeling just fine.

Do one thing, go to a nearby drug store and ask for a pregnancy test kit , ok, then with a thought..ummmm, there it should be displayed out only, you need to look for one. It should be there in drug store only. Maybe, then with a confused tone... just call Rema and ask her. Ok, and check today itself and let me know, and then I will tell you what to do next, but first you check this.

Suchi waited for an answer, but the silence made her to prompt again

"Radhika'"

Radhika : ha Mom,

.

Suchi: did you hear what I said?

Radhika: yes mom, I will do

Suchi: ha, and check with Rema, ok She might be knowing where to get one.

.

Radhika: ji.

Suchi: and right after that call my cell, I will be waiting, don't worry about the time, Ok. If not, I won't be able to sleep peacefully, so better call me right away.

.

Radhika: ji mom.

Suchi hang up the phone, and before she could dial chandenpur number , the phone rang there, Suchi picked up the reciever quickly and said: hello

Rohini's excited voice reached her ear : Suchi, mei Rohini, My heart will come out soon, I can't keep it inside, my feets are not touching the floor, I can't hold anything, did you talk to her, what she said?

Suchi: Rohini, calm down, ok. She is fine. I asked her to check on it and call me later with the result, Dev is at work, so may be we need to wait.

Rohini: oh really, we need to wait,, why can't she call Dev now and let them go and see a doctor there.

.

Suchi: it is not that easy there Rohini, they need prior appointment. Now don't worry, and don't get too excited either , ok.

Rohini: you know what Suchi, I never thought of her having a baby, but when that strike my mind with this confusion, I am like , my Radhika, she is still a kid, and she will be....

Suchi interfered Rohini from continuing as she know where that talk is escalating to, so in a normal soft tone , Suchi : Rohini , I told you to calm down, this may be because of this place change and weather change and all. You know, now a days so many youngsters have these kind of issues.. with a hope to bring her down to earth.

Suddenly she felt the silence on the other side...

Suchi called out softly : rohini

.

Rohini: ha, you may be right, maybe because of these changes, what all I thought, but there won't be anything to worry about , right? suddenly her excitment tone changed to concern and worrysome

Suchi realizing the concern: No Rohini, let's wait first and see what Radhika has to tell us, ok. Now you go to sleep and I will call you, ok. and don't worry, I am here too with you.

Rohini: hum. Ya, let us wait for Dev to come from work

Suchi hang up the phone after few more casual talk with Rohini .

Suchi stared at the circling motion of the fan , she heard the clock ticking sound. She got up and went to the cupboard and took an album out. With a smile she opened it and looked at little Dev, who was smiling , showing his toothless pink gum. She turned the pages, the fan kept on circling above the head , telling the passing time and the room light kept her vision clear on those smiley and childish photos of her little ones.

Aaaaaa... Aaaaaaaaa ......AAAAaaaa .....AAAaaaaaaa AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'

Dev flung open his eyes listening to the baby cry which was escalating with each take. He looked at the front seat, where a mom was holding her little one in hand, who is crying loud , and next to her was a concerned face of an old lady , who looks like baby's grandma holding another baby in her arm,. The mom with the crying baby stood and she was trying to shushhshhshh the baby and rocking him in her hand smoothly....

, yes he knows it is him as the baby was covered in blue bundle and the baby in grandma's arms covered in pink bundle. He always thought why to color code, actually it is not him, it was Radhika's questioning, when we went to see one of my colleagues' baby, Radhika selected all those cute dresses, luckily we met Rema deedi at the store and she said the importance of color code for U.S. babies.

But then soon the pink bundle also started crying and the grandma was looking at her daughter's face helplessly. Few people started showing their irritated face and few looked at this mom and grand mom with their concerned face. Dev saw their struggle to calm the two at a time. Finally the babies slow down and slowly slowly drifted into sleep.

Dev also felt some relief seeing the babies in comfort and he could easily see the sigh relief on the mother's face, also he saw she looking around as if asking for a sorry from the group, she sat back on her seat and held her baby close to her heart, to make him comfortable to sleep for the rest of the journey.

Dev relaxed back, he asked for a glass of water , and as sipping it down, he looked through the oval window, he saw the clouds passing by. He remembered that day , when she conveyed the shock news of his life, is it was a shock news, not really, but at that time, for me, yes, it was a shocking news.

With a chuckle he went to that day of their togetherness. He remember she called more than thrice that day with her confused tone, and her talk was very odd, and that made me to call her back to check whether she is OK. But still her vague questioning about my return time from work, confused me and I was not able to concentrate on work , so decided to leave early.

Parking the camry at the closest lot he ran towards the apartment , thinking what might have happened. Before nearing his apartment , his cell rang again, showing up home phone number.

Dev picking the phone: Radhika, I am here, open the door

Radhika: you here already!

Holding onto that phone, she looked out and found their car parked at the nearest lot. She ran towards the door and opened and found him placing back the cell back in his pocket.

Radhika holding the phone up in her hand , pressing the tip of it against her chin: you really came early!

Dev looked at her face and saw her widening lashes , she looked normal , but then coming in holding her shoulder and wrapping his arm around her upper back, his concerned voice came out : you ok

Radhika trying to bring a smile: ha, why?

Dev placing back his office bag on the floor, and closing the door behind, looked at her and said: but you don't sound like..

.

Radhika: no, I am fine. after a pause she said: Let me make the tea.

Dev tried to read her face, he kind of realized thatd ryness of her throat, he simply looked around, everything looked fine around. Dev went in to freshen up quick and came back, Radhika kept the hot tea on the table near the sofa.

He noted her uneasiness to come near and sit next to him, which he felt very unusual, as she only preferred to sit closer to him ,and passively ask him about his work. What happened today then?

Dev placing back the tea on the table : Radhika come here.

.

Radhika : ji

He held her shoulder and made her to sit closer to him.

Dev: now tell me, why did you call me, that many times.

.

Radhika: simply

Dev: ha you told me nothing specific , but I don't think that is the actual reason, now tell me frankly, why did you call me?

Looking at the steaming tea, Radhika: drink the tea na

Dev: that I will, don't worry about it, He placed his leg on the sofa in its lengthy way, toward the reasting place and then holding her shoulder stronger ,brought her closer to his chest and turned her completely to see her face clearly.

Dev: now tell me

Radhika with chuckled throat: what/. there is nothing specific .

Dev: no, there is something, tell me, na. To reassure her he tightened his grip around her , completely taking her weight in his arms..

Radhika: vo, vo, vo, let's go outside

Dev: outside!! Where you want to go?

Radhika with an uneasy , secret tone: to the drug store

Dev: drug store! what drug store?

Radhika: any drug store

Dev pausing for a second: oh, you mean to the pharmacy

Radhika: ha, vahi

Dev: kyum?

Radhika: bas yuhi

Dev: are you feeling sick?

Radhika: no,

Dev: then

Radhika: ha, I am feeling sick

Dev shrinking his forehead: sick? Releasing his arm around her , he touched her forehead: no, no fever, then

Radhika: no, no fever trying to sit up straight

Dev held her back : then tell me what is it?

Radhika: vo kuch nahi heina.

.

Dev: no you told me you are feeling sick. So what is it.

Radhika kept her silence

Dev: do you have any pain?

.

Radhika: vo, Suchi mom told to test at home only first

Dev: mom told to test at home! What test?

Radhka with chuckled throat: vo vo pregnency test

Dev in a normal relaxing tone: oh, pregnancy test, then comprehending back to the word, with widening his eyes :WHAT!!! He released her from his hold and as a reflex of his reaction Rahika sat on her back straight. He looked at Radhika with the ever shocking face possible, found her innocent looking eyes on him. Unknowingly the words came out from his throat very softly : Radhika what did you say?

Radhika with broken words: vo, Suchi mom told to check at home first and then call her right away..

Dev: mom told what, why?

Radhika: vo, , vo , then comprehending back into her normal tone and in a spontaneous way she said: I didn't had my periods yet, so mom told to check it first. That's all. Saying that she got up from the sofa and walked away with the cold tea in her hand.

Dev sat back with a weaker body and , suddenly his eyes were seeing the cute little babies everywhere around him, he started counting,one , two, three, four, five, six, seven, and eight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he closed his eyes for once and then his lips moved unknowingly "enough" . next a loud voice came out :Radhikaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Radhika tried to hide in kitchen, she started picking on stuff, with a calm and normal face.

Dev got up from the seat and ran towards the kitchen, and then with lower tone nearing her: Radhikaaaaaaaaa.

Radhika didn't look at him, but acted as if she is busy in doing things.

Dev coming closer , held her wrist and then made her to pause from her actions and made her to look at him and as her eyes met his

Dev: Can you just tell me this whole story, why all of a sudden mom has to tell this? I mean, we took the precaution, then

Radhika: vo, vo, then comprehending back to normal self, she said the story to him. Dev listened to it with his weakening body, the cries of the babies started piercing his ears again. The lines appeared on his forehead with the unexpected possibility.

He took a deep sigh and then said: OK, Radhika, let me go and try to find it from the pharmacy, ok. I am sure it will be negative only, so, you don't worry, take rest, I will be right back. but then he paused after taking few steps and came back and held her shoulder and looking at her face he asked agin: you Ok , right?

She just nodded her head in agrement, he gave a soft kiss over her forehead and without delaying to change he grabbed his car key and flew away from the sight.

Dev called Ramesh to check on his knowledge on this issue and for some quick guidance. With fast heart beats he parked the car near the CVS pharmacy and went in. As he entered into the store , one little kid just ran crossing him from the door side. Dev suddenly stopped and just followed the feet of the running kid. He walked in, all of a sudden he was seeing moms and little ones around him, he saw a little one sleeping comfortably in that car seat and the mom is doing her shopping very calm, and in between her hand was unknowingly pushing that stroller back and forth softly. His eyes scanned thru the captions above the aisle and then finally he started scanning on the item specific row, and finally his eyes got stuck at the target. He picked one and tried to read the label and then the general instruction and then still with that flushed unbelievable face, he went near the clerk, he heard a mom's scolding from behind him asking a kid to keep the item back on that rack following with awarning sound. He tried to smile at that disappointed kid, but his lips refused to strech out this time. Soon he paid the bill and drove back to his apartment.

He saw her waiting for him , looking at the parking lot, and as she saw him, she walked in to open the door. Dev came in and sat on the sofa and tried to read it one more time after opening the packet. Then gave to her with instructions. Time ticked by. They waited impatiently counting every fraction of second that was passing by, looking at those two oval windows, thinking that line will show up with its dark purple color. Hid eyes were shifting back to the ticking of the needle too, whereas hers was just fixed on that tiny thing. Finally he read the result , double checking with the picture they showed in that instruction material, and then with a big sigh relief :you really gave me a shock news Radhika saying that he relaxed back onto the sofa, resting his head comfortably and closing his eyes peacefully.....

Radhika to reconfirm: so it is negative.

Dev with a childish smile : um, it is

Radhika: let me call mom

Dev sitting back propery : no, why you need to call mom now, she might be sleeping..

Radhika: no, she told me to call her

Dev: Radhika, first of all why you need to tell all this to mom

Radhika: it is not me, Rohini mom only told

Dev tightening his forehead :what?!!

RAdhika with her innocent tone: actually Suchi mom told me to call Rema deedi and......

But before she could continue

Dev frowning his brows : you told Rema deedi too!!!!!!!. you already announced it to eveyone!!!

Radhika: no actually, I was waiting for you to come

Dev: thank God. So now who else is knowing about this, or maybe in a better way, who doesn't know about this ????

Radhika: just the moms knows about it.

Dev with a sigh releif : havu,

Radhika: ok, let me call mom

She went and picked the phone to dial

Dev in a teasy tone: it is 011 not 911

Radhika gave a freaky look at him as he was falling back onto the sofa. He heard her talking to his mom. But then Radhika coming near extended the phone to his hand

Dev looked at her surprisingly, and asked secretly and with hand gesture : me!

Radhika just nodded her head.

He felt little shy first time in his life, while saying hello to his mom. Suchi just asked generally about how he is doing and then hang up the phone. He felt some relief and looked at Radhika

Dev: so what mom said?

Radhika: she said to wait for another week, maybe because of change of place and all, so

Dev: ha, maybe. See you should have waited na. next time tell me if there is any concern Ok. Then grabbing her back in his embrace, laying on that sofa , resting his head on that hand rest , he said : you don't know Radhika, all of a sudden , I was seeing our twins everywhere. Do you really wish for that eight number?

Radhika: ha

Dev: when did you dream of that RAdhika?

Radhika: saadi ke pehle

Dev tightening his forehead looking at her face: saadi ke pehle?

Radhika: um, actually Sweety asked me what they will do when i flew away from Chandenour, I said I will come back, Sweety teased me saying , i won't come back and said we will have our baby and all here , and then settle here only, then they all will miss us, and the babies too. so I told her not to worry, i will leave our baby at chandenpur for her to take care of, but then she said babuji won't agree with it, so I said, I will have another baby there, then she said papa won't agree, so when i left our kids in each place , she asked then what about us, and i told her we will also have, and then she said what if everyone quarrel for a baby boy or a girl, so then i decided for having twins . and then looking at Dev's teasy smiley face , those innocent voice didn't i say right, then nobody will be unhappy.

Dev with a chuckle: ha Radhika, I am glad you stopped coutning there, what if you counted one for birju bhayya, lechu and rahul too. I am glad you counted house wise.

Radhika in a childish tone: why you are syaing like that, you also dreamed of having baby , right, so only you said you brought our car after thinking of our baby.

Dev: Ha Radhika, but that is after two years only, I was just trying to feel your presence in my life now , I want this time to be ours, just you and me, I wish I should have met you early, and know you from then, I feel like I missed so many days unrealizing my own true feeling towards you, you irritated me Radhika so much, so i want this time to be just ours, and when our baby comes, we two will take care of her and share our love with her at that time, not this early . and then also I just thought of one, may be two, but 8!!!!!!

Radhika with a smile: don't worry, babuji and papa will manage to buy a big van for them

Dev with a confusing tone : are you sure?

Radhika wrapped her arms around his upper chest , hiding her shy face away.... and her throat moved to say ...ummmmmmmm

Aaaaaaa, Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..

The crying sound of the baby, brought him back to reality. He looked at the little one and the frustrated mom talks. He looked at the monitor in front of him, to check the estimated time and distance to the destination. He took a deep sigh and then tried to look out at the dark thick atmosphere.

Suchi went and placed back the album in its place and came back to her thoughts.

It was around 3AM Radhika called back, Suchi rang to the farthest end of the room not to disturb Surender's sleep, said hello very secretly and she walked out from the bedroom.

After giving instruction to Radhika and a small chat with Dev, Suchi stood in doubt whether to call Rohini then or later. She decided to call early in the morning looking at the clock. And when she got back to bed Surender in his sleep: need to go to hospital?

Suchi: no

Surender: good and fell back into his sleep.

Suchi was smiling thinking her own little anticipation of her Dev's baby, which she never thought of.. She tried to rest for couple of hours. Later she called Rohini and said the news and they both shared their anxiety for that few hours as Rohini said she was unable to close her eyes the whole night. After two days Radhika called back again as she was unable to tolerate that cramping pain, which made her almost bedridden for two days, with weaker body and pain as she felt almost dizzy getting up from bed. Dev end up with working from home at that time, as he didn't feel comfortable to leave her alone in that situation.

Suchi smiled with Dev's concern that time, may be that is the only time he made few frequent calls to know the ways he can make her comfortable, or anything that he can do form his part, his voice echoed in her ear saying Radhika is feeling dizzy and she has pain. She felt Dev's voice wet seeing Radhika in such bad pain, which was totally new for him to see and take care , he did everything to make his wife comfortable. Suchi looked at the clock to see the passing time and felt like those numbers are fading away from her eyes and some kind of darkness is circling her around, which warned her to be afraid of this passing time, a fear of unknown.....

Loved avina entry today. AVi really surprised us, with his biceps and triceps 😳 and those runnings, push ups, and diving ,and that wet face. but didn't Rubi looks simple beutiful, her face changed .... I know all are loving this show... me too, enjoying and so glad they are back to us with a new face and new story.... like a new FF...

ok before closing this part, i got a PM who is little behind with catching up .... which i never thought is true at current fast forwarding world, and you may take it as silly, but still there are some who is like my Rohini mom... read her note, it sounded so funny ,but yet very innocent...

then the send off part in airport .rohni's comment you know you worte the same what was in my heart aree yaar im too scared of flights i love them seeing in the sky ..😆

yaar and the RaDev's first day in U>S it was amazing after reading your description ..i wish i could visit that place in my lifetime but .....a big NO to flights as i am scared of flights....

Rohini: but I am not going to go, I am afraid of flying high, I love to watch it flying up in the sky, but to travel, its so scary for me. I can't even imagine.

i agree with rohini i will reach there only if they find a road to there😆😆😆

So what you think, yes, there is one Rohini mom out somehwere in the middist of all of us. 😆

Cute memories-- Dev now has time to think about all the beautiful moments he spent with Radhika...little things, which take on a completely different meaning and value later on....

Radhika's conversation with Suchi and then with Dev about the possible pregnancy was very likable..and Dev was in shock..

So Dev is looking forward to reaching Delhi and remembering all the beautiful moments with his Radhika..He has no clue (from the sounds of it) what is awaiting him in Delhi---

I am waiting for him to reach Delhi and read his reaction...and I want to know where is Radhika? What is she feeling? She must be really upset with Dev and her stubborn nature and the fact that she misses him very much, probably did not let her call him and write to him (Similar to what she did before marriage)

You really have me very intrigued--I want to know what happened / what will happen--
I can't wait..

You were already bribed with guavas and jasmine flowers--what else can we do---

Please continue soon..looking forward to the daily updates...
