Feeling Lonely Robert Pattinson Adopted a Puppy

The Twilight stars has real problems spending his night alone at hotels all over the world. Therefore due to feeling lonely RobertPattinson adopted a puppy. Besides the heart-warming act of sharing the company of an animal to cheer himself up, Patz also reveals his opinion on his friends and their influence on his mood and private life in general.

Celebrities might often face low periods in their life, due to zillion reasons as loneliness. This time the news reveal that feeling lonely Robert Pattinson adopted a puppy. The 24-years oldTwilight star dating his 20 years old co-actress Kristen Stewartstruggles with constant traveling and homesickness. As relaxed as he might seem sometimes, the young London-born heartthrob still misses his friends from Britain. According to dailyrecord.co.uk these buddies are reluctant to pay him a visit in the US because they feel embarrassed and even threatened by the millions of hysterical fans that would sabotage their outings and public appearances.

The shooting of Breaking Dawn is also pretty exhausting for Rob Patz as he has to travel from LA to Vancouver, Canada to film the new scenes. He told the same media source that, "I know it's sad. A lot of actors have a bunch of people who kind of just go up and stay with them for like two months, like an entourage.
"But my friends, their egos are too big. They'd be like, 'I'm not part of your entourage. I'll stay in a free hotel for a bit if it's in New York or LA but I'm not going to come out to some random town in the sticks." This is the thought that motivated him to adopt a cute puppy, to always have a loving companion.

Additionally he reveals that, "But that's kind of why I adopted the puppy. It's from a shelter and he was going to be put down. I only got him two or three days ago and they only keep them for 10 days. He's been freaked out. It's funny. I got a private plane here from Louisiana, where I was filming Twilight, so he came out of the shelter and the next day he's on a private plane. A bit like Lady And The Tramp."

The name of the puppy is still a puzzle, as the Twilight star just couldn't pick the most appropriate name for his new pal. However he still leaked that "I'm going to call him Robert", obviously as a joke.

Now the puppy will lead the same busy lifestyle as Robert Pattinson, and join him to the filming locations. It is interesting to find out how the tiny pet will find it place in the following daily routine of Rob, "I've worked half a day, I got ready in 10 minutes, falling asleep in the car and you get out and you go to an award show for 10 minutes, do your little piece and then leave and get on a plane and go back to work."

Hopefully this experience will help the Twilight star in dealing with his movie star lifestyle.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson: I adopted a puppy because I'm so lonely

Feb 24 2011 Rick Fulton

Robert Pattinson gets close to Kristin Stewart

TWILIGHT heartthrob Robert Pattinson has revealed he's adopted a puppy to alleviate the crushing loneliness he feels living his life in hotels.

The London-born 24-year-old is rich, famous and is said to be dating sexy co-star Kristen Stewart, 20, which may seem like a perfect life to many - but with no firm base in America and a heavy, constant workload, he says he is feeling the strain.

Even his British pals don't want to visit him Stateside because they don't like feeling like his entourage when he is spot ted by often hysterical fans.

Speaking in Los Angeles, before heading to Vancouver in Canada to continue filming the new Twilight movie Breaking Dawn, he said: "I know it's sad. A lot of actors have a bunch of people who kind of just go up and stay with them for like two months, like an entourage.

"But my friends, their egos are too big. They'd be like, 'I'm not part of your entourage. I'll stay in a free hotel for a bit if it's in New York or LA but I'm not going to come out to some random town in the sticks.'

"But that's kind of why I adopted the puppy. It's from a shelter and he was going to be put down. I only got him two or three days ago and they only keep them for 10 days.

"He's been freaked out. It's funny. I got a private plane here from Louisiana, where I was filming Twilight, so he came out of the shelter and the next day he's on a private plane. A bit like Lady And The Tramp."

The puppy doesn't have a na me yet, although he joked: "I'm going to call him Robert."

Maybe it should be R Patz - showbiz nickname that seems to have stuck since he first made millions of young girls swoon as Cedric Dig gory in 2005 film Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire.

Then, of course he landed the life changing role of vampire Edward Cullen in 2008's Twilight and the sequels New Moon and Eclipse.

Breaking Dawn, the final movie in the series, will split into two parts, the first due for release in November.

It's a reflection of his growing fame that Pattinson is rumoured to be presenting an award at the Oscars on Sunday. But he say s nothing has been confirmed and he doesn't think he's going to have to get dressed up.

He said: "No. I'm working Sunday night. I've been working for six months in Baton Rouge and we're finishing off in Vancouver."

As well as the new puppy, he will be travelling with his own TV set ("they always have rubbish TVs in hotels") and some of t he 5000 DVDs he's bought but never finds time to watch.

Robert, who wrote two songs for Twilight's soundtrack, will also bring his collection of guitars which always now travel with him.

But he said: "It 's annoying when you can't sit around and just get really drunk and stay up until five in the morning. It's not much fun." Keanu Reeves is known for living out of hotels and when he leaves, giving what he's accumulated during the stay to the crew or hotel staff.

He said : "I'm a hoarder. I gave away all my furniture from Baton Rouge but with books and things, I have storage spaces all over the world.

"It's ridiculous. Clothes - I cannot give away clothes. I don't know why.

"I wear the same thing everyday and I just have piles and piles and piles of clothes and then every two years, I'll go to the storage space and kind of see what I can give away.

"I give away like three things, search through everything and then pack it all back up and put it in the storage space."

When the second part of Breaking Dawn is released next year, Pattinson will, like Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe, be kissing goodbye to the role that made him a global superstar.

At first he found the fame suffocating and at odds with his real life, which he claimed was boring.

But over the past two years, he said he has learnt how to deal with all the craziness of fans chasing him and being catapulted to instant fame.

Four years ago Pattinson could walk around Soho in London, where he lived at the time, in peace.

As soon as Twilight was released, that all changed - he was screamed at and chased and had to hire bodyguards.

He said: "Now I don't have time for the craziness anymore.

"Before, it was kind of fun when you go through a big crowd and ever yone is going crazy, it's like an experience.

"But when you're just literally being rushed everywhere, you just can't deal with that."

Airports, especially LAX, are hard to deal with, he said, but he has learned to make it easy on himself by getting his ticket just 20 minutes before the plane takes off and then hiding when he gets on board.

He explained: "I just put a blanket over my head and literally fall asleep as soon as I get on the plane."

Planes and cars seem to be his daily routine and although award bashes may seem glamorous, for Pattinson they are just a brief part of his working life that he has to work around.

And has been working non-stop since the last Twilight film, building on his romantic lead credentials with roles in Water For Elephants, opposite Reese Witherspoon, which is due for release in May, and in Bel Ami with Uma Thurman.

So red carpet invents aren't as glitzy to Robert as they seem to us.

He said: "I've worked half a day, I got ready in 10 minutes, falling asleep in the car and you get out and you go to an award show for 10 minutes, do your little piece and then leave and get on a plane and go back to work."

May be it's because he's one of those awkward English actors, in the mould of Hugh Grant, but despite being incredibly famous, Pattinson doesn't like to cash in on his high-profile.

He said: "I don't expect anything from anyone. So it doesn't make any difference to me, the power things.

"I don't even know how to wield it at all, apart from getting free sunglasses. That's the only thing I use it for."

Critics have accused Pattinson of being rather wooden and it's fair to he has hard ly pushed as an actor in the Twilight films so far - his performances seem to consist largely of a clenched jaw and looking moody.

The movies, too, have their detractors. Even vampire fans have branded it Fangs & Boon, a derogatory comparison to sickly sentimental Mills & Boon romance novels.

The moaners may be silenced by the final two movies, which see Kristen's character Bella become pregnant by Edward.

He then faces the prospect of having to make her a vampire or she'll be killed by their unborn baby. Pattinson said: "It's kind of scary."

As always, his relations hip with Kristen is off-limits. They have never officially confirmed they are an item, although it is strongly rumoured that they are.

But when asked about for bidden love, he laughs: "There's always some kind of problem when you're in love with someone.

"Especially in movies".
