Blokes, angie, and Chalhov, wow, what a great post, I really missed it. That is why now i want to finish my Ff soon, because i am missing such great posts here. Loved it dear, and thank you for sharing.
yes, my little memory is also assosiated with all these nice stories and Radha Krishna jodi. When i got to Temple, many times the questions asked within me, why RAdha, with Krishna, when Radha is not His wife? WHere I am seeing LordVishnu with Lekshmi and Bhoomi Devi, Lod Siva with Parvathi, Lord Ram with sita, then why Krishna with a devotee.!!!!..
Yes there are many to Ghoj in our epic and there is answeres too. I am getting drops of it through your words. The story of hot milk giving a lesson : jelous of women and the trust of a woman.
Yes, Radha is older than Krishna, even i heard she was young adult when Krishna was still a kid. But His presence made them (gopiyam) to believe that he is a young adult ( don't know how true it is , but that time it was my curiousity to know about Radha and Krishna lead to all those stories)
Abhi, here they may be taking just an 'amsh' of Radha, who is vocal about her love to Krishna, who never hide her love from the dear ones or the society , so that is whta they may be going to concentrate with CB-2. I wish adn I hope. where as the first CB Radhika was a hider of her love, so that is not Radha.
I love Radha and Meera's charactor very much. .
Very nice post, I am glad I got a chance to read your versiona dn more stories. Loved it ladies. and thanks for sharing.

Angie I think these were the stories.

This is sweet story depicting the transcendental love between Radha and Krishna. Once, Sri Krishna got very ill. Krishna asked that he would be alright if, he would get the Charanaamrit of a true devotee. All the Gopis were asked but none of them offered. They were afraid of committing a serious offense, by offering the water with which they had washed their feet to Sri Krishna.

When Radha came to know about the situation, she said: "Take as much as you like. What does it matter if I have to go to hell as long as my Lord is released of His pain and ailment"! Radha offered the Charanaamrit with true heart. It is due to this fact; it is believed that Radha could not marry Lord Krishna. Radha loved Krishna from the core of her heart but still she offered Charanaamrit to Krishna to save him from his sickness.

Radha and Krishna were celestial beings and their love was transcendental, spiritual and eternal.

This is one interesting story showing the eternal relation of Radha and Krishna. Radha was not married to Lord Krishna. The immeasurable love of Krishna for Radha made Krishna's wives jealous of Radha. Once, they all planned a mischief to make Radha suffer. They set out a bowl of burning hot milk. They gave the bowl to Radha, saying that Krishna had sent it for her. Radha readily drank the hot milk.

When the wives returned to Krishna, they found him full of painful ulcers. This shows that Krishna resides in every pore of Radha i.e. why the hot milk didn't touch Radha, but it affected Krishna. He took all her pain and miseries upon himself.

A_D and Angie are the cvs going these track w&w we will see I dont think there will be two marriages and the twists and turns will be something like CB1 but the solutions and reactions and how Radhika and Dev deal with it will be entirely different in this and there is a bigger family and more twists and turns.😆😆😆

chalov- The version we heard was when Krishna "complains" of a headache in Dwaraka, the royal physician is summoned and he tries different treatments- but none have effect. Then the doctor surrenders and begs Krishna to tell him what is the best treatment. Immediately Krishna says he needs a "lep" (mask) made of dust from the feet of his true devotee. Immediately the doc asks his primary wives- Rukmini and Satyabhama who refuse to dishonor their lord with dust from their feet. Krishna "whines" with greater "pain". Everyone who has expressed their devotion to Krishna in Dwaraka is approached and all are scandalized by the very idea of having their feet dust to touch their Lord's forehead. The doc returns to Krishna and begs him to tell him where to find the "true" devotee. Krishna asks (amidst his groans of pain!) if they checked Vrindavan. An emissary is sent to Vrindavan post haste to check with the gopis. It is said that the gopis were so upset to hear that their darling Krishna was suffering from a headache and if it was dust from their feet that he needed- he could get a truckload of it!

The above "leela" (play) is narrated in all Bhagvat kathas to show how the love for the Lord is beyond a "concept" of "He is greater than me" etc. However, this story does not "take place in the Srimd Bhagavatham". It finds place in the oral tradition that surrounds the text of the Bhagvatham.

Krishna sends word to the Gopis through Uddhava wherein he postulates the love of the Gopis being highest as they did it at the "expense" of their family and everything else. It has a beautiful prelude when the Gopis surround Uddhava demanding where their beloved Krishna is, sing the Brahmara Gita (song of the bee). It is considered to be one of the most lyrical and devotional piece of the Bhagavatham.

Ra-Dha- inverted means Dha-Ra which means that which springs from the source. thence, Ra-Dha is that which returns to the source- here source is the Lord, ie, Krishna and "that" (Radha) brings us back to the Lord where in love there is no "he is grater than me"- s there is no I and no You.

We need to comprehend that the entire "myth" of Radha is the rich oral tradition that adds to the original text. Too often in Hinduism we see the easy transcendence from imagination into concretization as our structure of "religion" allows it- because our very basis of viewing this world is that through the veil of Maya- as a "dream". Hence there is nothing called "what is written is the absolute truth and what is narrated is not there". Any added dream in the dream makes the dream a richer experience!
