how much have I not learned from you and others on this Forum. And with CB2, the learning journey just continues.

Thank you so much for such anmol information on our rich culture, heritage, education, sanskriti.

Thanks, Bhola. Same here. I am always amazed that in my youth all this knowledge was peripheral and now that I am away from the country, I have learned to appreciate the richness of our culture and what an evolved society we had thousand of years ago, with so much thought put into creating that society/community!
Neerja is so right that these soaps downgrade that culture and it is such a shame.
Let the learning continue......

..today i saw those Chankya,s clippings and were really great...And felt his speech fits in current situation of India...I feel so glad that accidentally i found this forum and got to know about so many things...I forgot about so many things but when you people start discussing it all starts coming back....Think Dai ma like Chankya can be instrumental in changing Dev,s destiny...Why PH has to go run of the mill kind of drama....This time with CB 2 they can revert to their original form as their recent shows i find disappointing....

I plan to watch Chanakya sooner than later after all these rave reviews.
Neerja I am with you about the situation in India and the forum part.
About the DJs, I simply have apathy where they are concerned. I am not enamored by their way of running their entertainment business....

Thanku Guruma for sharing your knowledge with us.....so this whlole slokas shown in CB2?? did not get chance to follow up the updates yet .But it seems CB2 is living upto the expectation (hey hey it managed to bring you back..what else we want from it..pls be withus for that matter😛)

Greatly value these posts wherein i get to learn abt our valuable culture and that in turn help me develop as a person. Before coming to this forum i would say i wasnt much of a believer in god, religion....all tht was just a vague feeling for me but nw i feel more connected as i read more n more abt it.
And its coz of Cb only which made me connect with religious aspect more and at the same time made me search for it ....though before coming here i particularly followed spiritaul teachings of lord buddha and Swami vivekanada but was unaware of basic religious teachings but certainly Cb forum gave me much needed grounding in this front also...

I would always cherish posts like this one and many more from CB, shared by many of our most learned members in this field -- You (being the Guruma for me and entire CB family), then thr is Shreldi/Premdi (Musicals matero with whom one can not only learn abt music but greater imp of it in ones life ), Anukapoor (learned so many good stories from her), Angie, blokes, angake, ummm so many members..just love all of you for blessing us with your experiences n knowledge....

Hey dont know when but recently (last year ) was just browsing channels and saw DD repeating Bharat ek khoj..Was verry small when it use to come but remeber seen it couple of times..DD use to repeat it during 90s..Love the starting and ending mantra/chants in it...this one really stirs me to the core..

Shrishti se pehle sat nahin tha,
Asat bhi nahin; Antariksh bhi nahin, Aakash bhi nahin thaa
Chhipa thaa kya, kahaan kisne dhakaa thaa,
Us pal to agam atal jal bhi kahaan thaa.

Shrishti kaa kaun hai karta,Kartaa hai vaaha karta,
Unche aakash mein rehta, Sadaa adhyaksh banaa rehta,
Wohi sach much mein jaanta, Yaa nahin bhi jaanta,
Hai kisi ko nahin pataa, nahin pataa
Nahin hai pataa….
Nahin hai pataa….

Also read this book (one of the few books from my small collection which i treat like treasure😊)....There i found this link for whole series..

And hey dont know but Mother is telling CHANAKYA gonna come again on some channle but she said its some remake or sth...needless to say one of the best DD serial..
Here is a Link where you can see all 8 series of it (myself seen only few episodes but now i got this link so will try to follow it..)..anyways thr are many such links whrin you can d/l the series..

I have watched Tamas Bharat ek Khoj Chanakya Buniyaad and another one of my fav was Malgudi Days a very well produced directed and well enacted serial used to love it and tried to never miss it.It had all its traditions intact. In between I did not watch any serials and then some time in between when my son was young used to watch Chandrakanta serial every sunday which was a khichidi was tradition magic Panchantra Sci fi chandamamma and what not. I remember those days my son was a very poor eater and very adament about not eating I used to tell him all kind of stories and sometimes from that and make him eat😆 and as DD had very strict control over content the shows those days used to be reasonably good. but later they overdid it and so privatisation and private channels came into existence and now we have a dime a dozen channels and with a wish to outdo each other and the victim is content in the shows in this trp war
