I think what i have seen so far on this soap is pure fantasy.

well this is really close to reality i have seen so many diff people with smilar to these charcters specially like devyani who take abuse of husband and dont say anything for family sake...

and even uttara ...if u read news papar u can c so many times wwomen who are badly beaten by husband and even they retaliate like uttara did.....

what may not happen in reality is that all are not lucky enough to get a loving husband like adi...mostly victims like priya end up badly....but i would say again MOSTLY

agree with you anamekaa.....i personally knw many women who are victims of domestic violence and choses to keep silent for da sake of family..I am a marwadi(rajasthani) and in our society women are treated jusss like devyani is treated by her husband...and vindya's story is very common...there are many men who are pressurised to marry the gal whom their parents choose for them..and yesh anamekaa the only thing which luk like a fantasy or a dream is a husband like aditya...every women can relate themselves with either of da characters....well at least i can....so therez nothing like fantasy in it...such things still prevails in this 21st century..not all da women are blessed with a happy married life!!!

fantasy..i think not.....in fact if anything...i think a lot of people would relate with what they are showing...like physical abuse or even mental ...the one that the ssp is giving his wife!!

@ simplebedrooms. You are soo right, this is fantasy. I mean where do women get abused? not here and specially not around the world. Where do you find women taking all kinds of crap including cheating husbands to keep their households going? Where in the world does a woman/girl/even babies are raped or even victim of a attempted rape, not in the world you or I live in ! Where do you see any woman married and living in a loveless marriage? Like you said this is a fictional drama to the core. Very smart observation!

This is very close to reality, obviously not everything can be realistic, then who would watch???

i remember watching mitwa pkk it was very realistic, but the channel ended it...!!!

it happens in real life too....!!!
i have seen it with my own eyes...!!!
And what devyani does is, it is exactly the way a women does in a real life to keep her home unbroken...!
