Sid and Shilpa FF: Sunshine

Hey guys,

I have had this idea swimming around in my head for a couple of months now but I have been so busy so I finally sat down and started writing it, updates will not be regular because it depends on how hard I work in order to finish my uni work and how annoying life becomes because recently it has been that I deal with one problem and another one crops up but I will update whenever I can... I promise I won't abandon this FF even if it is the death of me but I will finish it... despite my prior track record😆.

Note: I am starting in the future, then I will take it back into the past. 😃

Shilpa was sitting nervously, she was hoping to hear what she was thinking. She never saw herself at this stage in her life, when she first came to Mumbai it was for her sister he last remaining family. That was the only reason to come here, she never fully planned to stay here she wanted to spend time with her sister get to know her, but she never wanted to stay in Mumbai once her sister knew the truth, but now her whole life was in this city and she would not change it for the world. She sat there blissfully happen and laughed that if eight years ago some said this to her she would have laughed and thought they were losing their marbles. As she was getting lost in her thoughts she heard her name being called and she made her made her way over with a stupid grin on her face.

Sid looked at the time on his watch, he was late Shilpa was going to murder him if he was late in picking her up from work, but he had such a hectic day the last thing it was the last thing that came to his mind as he went to his office to end for the day. As he was running out he bumped into a Yuvi, who wanted to talk to him but Sid brushed him off saying if you want me alive to talk to you need to let me go right now. Yuvi laughed and let Sid continue with his run knowing this situation very well himself with Naina.

Shilpa was taken inside a cabin, she sat there feeling nervous with anticipation she tried to conceal her feelings and not get her hopes up too high but she just wanted to know what her results said. She was shocked when Riddhima walked in she had forgotten this was a possibility and kept her face neutral. In her head she was laughing at the irony of the situation but acted like Riddhima's presence had not bothered her at all.

Riddhima on the other hand had totally lost her footing when she saw that the patient she was dealing with was Shilpa. She composed herself and started to read Shilpa's reports just to make sure everything was in order. As she told Shilpa what the reports said Shilpa's smile grew and she rushed out of there as soon as she could.

Sid made it in the nick of time, he parked the car and casual walked in to pick Shilpa up as if he hadn't forgotten or was panicking about being late. He walked in to see Shilpa coming towards the entrance he silently thanked god and started to walk up to her. He noticed something different about her, he looked at her questioningly but she broke into a smile. Now Sid was confused.
"Shilpa kya hua?"
Shilpa smiled and then said "I'm pregnant!"
Sid face flicked from shock to pure happiness. He lifted Shilpa and spun her around and then crushed her in a hug.
"Sid, I can't breathe." She said
He loosened his hold "Sorry, I am just so happy. I am going to be a dad, I can't wait to tell everyone. Shilpa you have made me the happiest man alive."
Shilpa smiled and then said "ghar chale?"
Sid nodded and took her hand in his hand and walked out smiling like a five year old who had been told he can eat as much candy as he wants.
Shilpa laughed at his smile.

Riddhima had watched this whole scene unfold and wiped away the lone tear that came. She should have been where Shilpa was today but she had no one to blame but herself...She walked back thinking how everyone is so far ahead in their life and she is still stuck where she was 8 years ago...

oh my! sidshi FF!?? and i thot i cannot read any FF that has no SR moments innit!! but clearly that was my myth cos i loved what yu ve written so far!! ;)) FANTASTIC update! Sidshi married... i am sorry "happily married" Shilpa pregnant, Riddhima her gyn n Riddhima is stuck where she was 8 yrs back! regretting for missing out a beautiful life she cud ve had with Sid!! beautiful cont soon!! ;))
