InTrO:

Sasural Genda Phool ( translation: In-Laws House is like a marigold) is an Indian soap opera that is currently aired on STAR Plus. The show premiered on STAR Plus on March 1, 2010 in India. It is the remake of the popular Star Jalsha show Ogo Bodhu Shundori.

Set in the beautiful alleys of Old Delhi, Sasural Genda Phool is a heart rendering story of two unlikely characters ' Suhana and Ishaan. It is a love story of two strangers who fall in love after marriage.

Suhana is the lovely, spirited daughter of Kamal Kishore Bajpai. She hails from a palatial house with a plethora of servants to service her cravings. Having lost her mother at a very young age, she grows up as a very lonely person.

Ishaan on the other hand is a gentle, good natured IT professional. Surprisingly, for a person whose career is on the rise, he does not have a girlfriend...he asks his family members to look for a bride for him. As one girl after another rejects him, he gives up and decides that he will marry whosoever they decide is a proper match for him. They decide on Suhana. Thus, Suhana and Ishaan are wed.

nice post and lovely promo, never saw that before.

Congratulations to the whole SGP team, lovely and hatke serial.

A serial from where you can learn +ve things, a serial which romanticised the joint family, and its popularity has grown from strength to strenght.

Right from story, direction, camera work etc etc..to the acting..to the backgrund music..superb serial.

Thank U Gals For Replying😃...........I thought No one wud Reply to My silly Post which I made😆........I actually Put Photos of all actors but When I posted it,They Vanished and Then I have to put these similes instead of them to save my Izaat.😆

It is not a silly post 😛 SGP is my favourite serial !!

No worries..i didnt bother to see the smiles...It is indeed a year since serial started and it has still managed to keep the viewers hooked which is great..normally daily soaps taper down the popularity scale after a year or so !

And Ya about the serial ,it has been a revolution and No cud have Imagined That boys like me who loves cricket wud also be hooked to a serial😆.......Its indeed a revolution😃....But I hope CVs dont mess Up too much with this serial and to an extent that Serial Loses its charm......I cant imagine wat will I do If this serial closes down😭Then there will be nO SGP and I-F........Oh God I hope that day never comes

Btw, aapne mere muh ka question chin liya !! I was so surprised ki boys/guys are hooked to a daily soap. One is himanshu and a few more and you. I wanted to ask ki aisa hota hai kya ? As far as I know, i have never come across guys liking a dialy soap so much !! YOu ppl really really surprise me. I was tempted to put a question as a topic to know ki ladke kabse daily soap ke deewane ho gaye,but then said to each his own and dropped the idea..
I hope the serial continues to maintain the tempo. though I am not sure what is it that they will show !!! hoping for the best, and even if they dont, this is one daily soap which i have watched for the longest time
