I don't know about who is in charge of the finance for a show....But if it is the channel who is resposible, or the channel alocates part of the funding, joinly with the prodcution house....The question is does the channel give time, money and resources, in terms of promotion, production and technitions, equally to all shows....

If one show has a unfair advantage in terms of resources, then prouductuion houses have to make do with what they get....Perhaps more promtion, which will lead to to higher rating, may result in extra funds, which can be used in areas such a hiring extra technical and production staff....

Just a thought, hope I am making sense....Once again, I know nothing about TV channels and production😳....
