[CRYPT] Buntu is loking the gates of the Pandey House, when he sees Kukkan and Jabbo. He yells out thief, and the people from nearby come to help catch the thief as Kukkan and Jabbo make a run for it. Kukkan and Jabbo get caught and are brought in front of the Pandey House. Buntu accuses them of being thieves but Kukkan speaks up and says that they haven't stooped that low to become thieves. Jabbo chimes in and says that Guddu had disappeared and they wanted to make sure that the Pandeys hadn't kidnapped him. They say when they came here, the situation was completely different. [/CRYPT]
Kukkan and Jabbo tell everyone that the Pandey's have tied Runjhun up in the room, with shackles, and if they can do something like that to their own niece then what's to say what they did to Guddu. The Pandeys negate that fact and tell others not to believe Kukkan and Jabbo. The others are adamant that if Kukkan and Jabbo are true they should show them the proof. There is no harm in seeing, and this way Pandeys will be exonerated. Vishnu and Rajju try to deny and delay the fact but the other are adamant that if the Pandey's have nothing to hide, they shouldn't be hesitant.
Mittho leads the way, as the Pandeys look worried, and they open the door. They all see Runjhun tied in the dark room with shackles. They question the Pandeys how they can do such a thing. Mittho claims that Runjhun was suicidal after her engagement broke, and they had to do such a thing. Kalsanwali says they did for Runjhun's benefit and now they are the ones getting persecuted. The others ask Runjhun to tell the truth.
Vishnu motions his wife to take care of the matter. Kalsanwali walks up to Runjhun to plead with her to tell the truth, and whispers that if she lets the others know the truth, then they will burn Amma. Runjhun lies and tells everyone that she was tired of her life, and wanted to give up her life.
Vishnu asks the rest of the people to leave, and then as everyone is walking out, he warns Kukkan & Jabbo not to sneak around their house anymore, otherwise he will get them arrested so fast that they won't even know what their fault is. Kukkan and Jabbo don't say anything back, but wonder among themselves where Guddu has gone to.
Guddu reaches Maheshwari hospital, and asks for his mother, Lata Shukla. The nurse points him to the room. He's walking towards the room, when another nurse comes out of the room, and tells him that at the moment he can't go in. He watches from the window and sees his mother struggling as the doctor and nurses try to stabilize her.
Guddu thinks that he is so unlucky. He came to see his mother after so many years and this is the condition she's in. He says he will do anything, even give up his life if possible, but not let anything happen to his mother. The doctor comes out and tells Guddu that his mother is better now, but they have to operate within the month. He tells Guddu it will take 5 lakhs, but not to worry
by that time his father should have raised the money.
Guddu goes in to see his mom, who is resting. Guddu's mom opens her eyes and sees Guddu but can't tell who he is. She tells the person to identify himself, and Guddu cries and calls out ot his mother, and identifies himself. His mother is happy to see him and embraces him. She says that she can't believe that Guddu is here. Everyone told her to forget about Guddu, and that he wouldn't come back. She asks him why he took so long, and if he'd forgotten her. Guddu says that he never forgot her, but every time he felt like coming to see her, he stopped himself.
Guddu's mom says she didn't know her son was so stubborn, and tells him not to leave her again, and Guddu replies, that he isn't going anywhere.
Back at the Pandey House, the aunts remove Runjhun's shackles and tell her that she has to do all their biding or Amma's life will be in danger. They tell her not to see Amma. Runjhun says she can't go without seeing her grandmother, but Kalsanwali tells Runjhun that Amma is fine. She says that if she goes to see Amma, she will give Amma such a medicine that she will go straight up. Runjhun pleads and says she will do as they say, in exchange for the safety of Amma. The Aunts are happy.
Back at the hospital, Guddu falls asleep by his mother's side. In the morning when his mother wakes up, Guddu is woken up by the sun filtering through the window. He says he didn't know when he fell asleep. He tells her that he came ot take care of her, and he only fell asleep. Guddu's mom asks him how he knew she was in the hospital. Guddu says that even though he is far away from her, he keeps tabs on her, and knows everything that happens with her.
Guddu's mom asks him if he can't forget what happened in the past, and come back. Guddu says that he doesn't want anything to do with his past, and neither can he forget what happened. His mother reminds him that he'd told her he wouldn't leave her. Guddu thinks that he can't keep that promise to his mom. She asks him if he can't stay, and he replies that he doesn't have a response for that question. He hugs his mom, and wishes that he can forget what happened in the past, but something that was done can not be erased, and such his past can not be erased.
