Bollywood star Ajay Devgn turns a year older today (April 2), and the celebrations have already lit up social media. While many celebs have dropped birthday wishes, it was wife Kajol’s message that stole the spotlight. Fans are calling it ‘hilarious and quirky’.

A few mints back, Kajol took to Instagram and shared a picture of husband Ajay Devgn. Instead of penning a long note, the actress kept it short and quirky. She infused Ajay's birthday celebrations with her signature wit and charm, penning a humorous note that perfectly encapsulated their playful dynamic. In her message, she playfully poked fun at his age, employing her signature style to jest that the candles on his cake now presented a "fire hazard." Her post read, "At some point the candles on the cake look less like a celebration and more like a fire hazard... I think u have reached that point. happy birthday anyways may u always have cake."

Ajay and Kajol's love story commenced on the set of Ishq in 1997. However, Ishq did not mark their initial collaboration; they had previously worked together in two films: Guddu Dhanoa's action crime film Gundaraj and Anees Bazmee's action thriller Hulchul, both released in 1995. Their on-screen partnership continued in Anees Bazmee's 1998 romantic comedy Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha. Following a nearly four-year courtship, they exchanged vows on February 24, 1999, in a private ceremony, away from the media's attention.
