KATRINA & SONAKSHI in an item song in JOKER?

Indeed, it's the first time when Katrina and Sonakshi will be seen shaking legs and showcasing some groovy moves in the film. Sources claim that the track will be as sizzling as 'Sheila Ki Jawani'.

Sonakshi wanted her own 'Munni and Sheila'
Bowled over the raunchy item tracks, 'Munni and Sheila', Sonakshi now wants her own song imprint, which would explore her dancing talent and make her fans go gaga.

Reportedly, the lassie was requesting the filmmaker Farah Khan for a long time.

A source familiar with the matter revealed Mumbai Mirror, "Sonakshi is a fabulous dancer and she wants that aspect of her personality to come out.

"She kept telling Farah she wanted her own 'Munni and Sheila'. Not only Sonakshi but even her parents were keen to see her dance on screen."

Presently, the 'Joker' team is working on "a steaming hot dance track", where both will perform on a folk-fusion number.

Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen playing Akki's love-interest in 'Joker', confirmed the buzz about her popular dance track, but did not confirm anything about her would-be co-star in the track.

The 23-year-old actress told Mumbai Mirror, "It's good news for me. I'm finally going to dance in Joker. I wouldn't call it an item song because I'm the film's heroine and item songs are performed by guest artistes.

"But, I know it will be well shot and lavish and aesthetic because it's being choreographed by Farah Khan. All my worries are sorted out."

About her co-star in the song, Sinha said, "Well, a top actress will be joining me. That's all I can say at the moment."

'Joker' shoot to begin on Valentine's Day
The shoot for Shirish Kunder's 'Joker' will begin from Feb. 14 in Chandigarh.

Shirish is probably quite ecstatic about this 3D film and has even recorded two songs for it. He tweeted on the micro-blogging site Twitter, "Great start to the music of JOKER. Two kickass songs recorded. One a dance number, and the other a soulful inspiring number."
