They should get married first, and then live together.

Live and let live man.
Persoanlly I dont think I'd go for it, but I have no right ot judge anyone who does. Its their life and its up to them on how they wanna conduct it.
It works for some then go for it!
I think the important thing in decisions such as this is age. If you have two adults who know what they're doing, are independent, and just wanna test teh waters before taking the plunge, I see nothing wrong with.
And since this topic concerns actors and actresses in general, they have an additional motive to stay away from marriage for some time. Marriage doesnt do wonders to an actress' careers, and we all know that.
In Kareena's own words on KWK, "if it wasnt for my career, I woudl have already married Saif."
But she's not missing out on anything at the moment either. She can just live with him AND keep her career.

I'm western based but I probably will be married before I live-in with a man😆

Everyone is different. Living in together before marriage is important because one can determine if they're compatible with their partner. I know so many people who had great relationships that fizzled once they moved in together. A lot of them realized that they were too different from each other and that led to fights. But living-in is also a stark contrast from Indian culture because I feel marriage has a greater importance for Indian people than Westerners. It all boils down to the individual couples; if they feel that they need to do this for their groW*H as a couple, then they by all means can do so. If others don't see the need to, then they don't have to😊

For me, I follow Indian culture at home so my parents would probably shoot me if I did that😆 If I were living out of town, I could probably get away with it saying that I'm living with a girlfriend or something😆😆

It is not correct according to me. Too much freedom for anything is bad.

Oh my this forum has an aweful lot of prudes.😆

Anyway who cares? Their life, their choice. They have to deal with the consequences...good or bad. I'm pro living-in, pro premarital sex, pro abortion. If I get any of the "you will burn in hell for your sins* type of love pms now, I'm deleting it. *Yawn*

Times are changing and how we look at relationship is changing. Back in the day, people marry without knowing their prospective partner. Now, people want to be sure and make it right before taking the plunge..I don't look down on live in relationship and common law couples..They have their advantages and disadvantages but there is nothing to be ashamed about. It's better to understand and know your partner carefully then marry 3-4 times...

PS: It has nothing to do with where you were born..it's all about your ideology and how you want your relationship to be...Why is everyone making so cheap and crass?

Exactly. People are not and should not be defined by where they come from. Its how they think that matters. And not everyone has a very high opinion on marriage. Does that mean they stay virgins all their life? I for one think the whole institution of marriage is bogus and not for me. But I wouldn't look down on someone who believes in it. To each his own.
