I dont have any problems with people living in together, either. Its just that I hear more n more people do that. There are times when things get a bit serious and then children come into the picture. And if the couple thinks they are not made for each other after all, the kid/kids are the most to suffer. Some people do take care not to go that further of course, but u never know. And yes, like some of u said, these people are adults, they know what they are doing. The only concern is if anything goes wrong, they should be able to sort it out in a civil manner instead of getting ugly.

Its better to be safe then sorry..

Times are changing and how we look at relationship is changing. Back in the day, people marry without knowing their prospective partner. Now, people want to be sure and make it right before taking the plunge..I don't look down on live in relationship and common law couples..They have their advantages and disadvantages but there is nothing to be ashamed about. It's better to understand and know your partner carefully then marry 3-4 times...

PS: It has nothing to do with where you were born..it's all about your ideology and how you want your relationship to be...Why is everyone making so cheap and crass?

Yes I also don't think its a bad idea to move in see what you are getting into... but ofcourse in serious relationships.. in my uni.. almost everyone lives in with their bfs.. in of campus rez..its pretty common in west.. it is becoming common in urban india also... mumbai.. delhi and else where.. i don't think its a big deal!

call it warranty period or call it saving the headache of divorce later..or just call it reluctance in commitment.

the biggest problem in indian society is accepting another people's life as theirs and not being too nosy abt it...who gives u the right to dictate how another person conducts their life
