Well although they would make a rather odd couple, i guess career wise it's a good move on Deepika's part, I mean Rajnikant almost guarantees a film being a stupendous success and Deepika's last three releases haven't done all that well at the b.o

The issue isn't just about older men pairing with younger women, it is about the DOUBLE STANDARDS that exist. Where do you see older women working with younger men? even if they do, they are called aunties and behenjis etc etc etc. There was an article recently about how directors are having trouble finding co stars for Ranbir and it listed actresses that cant act with him (Rani,Aishwarya,Vidya,Preity) and this was when Saawariya or BAH came out. I mean seriously?

thts coz men will always be droolworthy (this dosent apply to rajnikanth btw...hes beyond petty things like drooling)....guys can be 60 and women will still find him hot and desirable...so many ppl are still mad abt johnny depp, hugh jackman, tom cruise, brad pitt, srk, salman, akki etc.

but when a woman crosses her 30's...she becomes an "aunty" type...she becomes too "aged" and "unappealing" for guys..

bottom line: for girls, the older the men, the better....(coz most young girls like manly, macho, mature, brooding MEN and not silly boys)...

for guys, the younger the woman, the better...(coz most guys find "pixie maniac pretty and angelic teenager" type girls appealing)...
