I totally disagree with the Ahem viewpoint thats being projected . in that hes been hard done by and he feels his wife is not his match . Astonishing is that some people are even considering his actions to be justified

Hes not a martyr nor is a he a rational or even mildly considerate human being .

Dont know why people are readily making excuses for his total lack off compassion to his wife and his mother for that matter.

Not everyone is gifted the ideal match does that mean you have the right to throw them out off the house? Its not a return to store if unsatisfactory policy on a marriage you know!

What an absolute vile way to go about things...

If Ahem was slightly human he would have given Gopi the opportunity and helped her learn the skills to bring her so called up to his level - in my opinion his level is low so dont know what hes harping on about.
He had to deal with a few issues and hes up in arms like a child and that's all he is a spoilt rotten little boy who lacks compassion ,in my opinion there is nothing worse in the world than a person who is so detached and self proclaimed that noone else holds value.

The girl stood strong for his family in their time of need and this is how he repays her??

Absolutely disgusting behaviour of so called lead hero of a drama serial, and who cares if hes so called good looking ,from a humane perspective hes ugly.

I can understand about him not giving her a chance from the get go, he vowed from the beginning not to give her rights as a wife, if she was lacking just speak to her properly and attend to the deficiency, but maybe his so busy, to be her teacher and according to him she needed to learn too much, she bathed his laptop she doesn't know electrical goods an water don't mix (he was probably thinking this is too big a task for me).

All he wanted to prove to dear Mom is you made a mistake she is all wrong for me. He was nice enough to move out of the room and not touch her, now she is free to remarry and so him.

In this senario, I agree that Ahem should be giving Gopi and opportunity to better the educational self. All in all she is wonderful character, but what he sees when he looks at her is that she is uneducated. YOu can blame him either for wanting a partner who would be at least educationally apt enough to read and write.
I am not againsn't divorces in a right situation it is okay to get divorced. But I feel he doesn't have much grounds aside from the lack of education on Gopi's part.
Kokila is a wonderful mother but she somehow missed that about her son. I feel her character has changed somewhat to being nice. Intially she wanted a wife for Ahem that would simply just do his chores and nothing more. And even after her son being married her value would decrease. I guess things are diffrenent now.

Kokila did want a tail for herself in the MM, just follow what I say to the letter and all will be fine, but her son didn't want that sort of wife. Kokila was very insecure about what will happen when her son got married, to anyone a girl of her choosing or not, about how much in his affection she would be. I'm not too sure she has changed that part of her personality, just recently she mentioned Aham cannot buy not even a handkerchief for himself, she want's him to be very reliant on her for as long as she is alive.

I don't think your wife being uneducated can be sufficient grounds for a divorce 😆, but Aham seems to think it is. Perhaps irreconcilable differences, not a good fit that's it.

Irreconcilable differences... nice!!! I am not sure if they have something of that sort in India but he is showen to be a big douche. I actually thought that the CV were really changing his character for the better but I suppose not. I truly feel bad for Gopi though. She's a nice girl but she really needs learn how to stand up. I don't really thing girls like that existist any more in this world... I havent' seen one so far.
