What has happened to this show

This show started with so much promise of being different from the usual Dehati shows or the usual Saas-Bahu and manipulating sis-in-law shows. But for the last 4 days nothing of substance has happened. They are killing time by showing festivities and not proceeding with the story line. Also, correct me if I am wrong - the acting seems a bit off. Especially the older Viranis deliver the dialogues as if they are on a stage. There are no facial expressions, just flat dialogue delivery. I know sometimes a show has to be dragged but they should give some teasers at least ki kya hone wala hai.
