Mumbai: The third season of 'Dus Ka Dum' is jinxed or so it seems. The show's third season that has been in a fix ever since Salman opted out on count of lower remunerations has now been shelved.
Even though there were reports that Salman was replaced by 'Munna Bhai' Sanjay Dutt for hosting the show's third innings, it has now been reported that the makers have shelved the show altogether to focus on a new reality show.

Not willing to go ahead without Salman, the makers decided to shelve plans for the next season of 'Dus Ka Dum' and focus instead on the desi version of 'The X Factor', which will have Rishi Kapoor as one of the anchors.
Ajit Thakur, business head and executive VP of the channel involved, told a daily that 'Dus Ka Dum' has been put on the back burner in favour of 'The X Factor'. He said, "This year we're focusing entirely on the next season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and X Factor, which we're very excited about. Yes we're in advanced talks with Rishi Kapoor to serve as one of the judges. Both Rishi and the channel are very excited about the association."
